Let's see...it's freaking July and the last time I wrote here it was March. So, actually, 3 months to the day! Wow.
Well, I'm still working as a dispatcher. My husband just got a job. He's finally feeling well enough that he can handle it...he's doing his machinist thing, working on mills and lathes and all that. He's happy as could be. We both love our jobs.
We recently adopted a puppy from the pound down in Phoenix. He's a lab/border collie mix. He's only 5 and a half months old, but bigger than some full grown medium breed dogs I've seen! He's huge! His name is Bear. He's black and white in color and I'll have to post some pictures of him. Or, if you're on MySpace or Facebook, let me know and I'll add you or give you the link and you can see pictures of him there. Bear was supposed to have been my birthday present but he seems to have become my husband's dog more than anything. Which is fine. I don't care. He's OUR dog anyway. I love him to death!
We still have no kids. I'm not pregnant and I'm not worried about having kids any time soon. We are definitely having too much fun just getting out on our own. As it is, Bear can be a hassle sometimes when we want to do things. So, yeah, but let's see...what else is going on.
My grandfather just passed away on the 9th. I'm okay. No need to feel bad or anything. He's not suffering and in a better place. I know I'll see him again and I'm not concerned with it. I loved him and we had wonderful times together. I'll always hold him in my heart. He lived a long life. He passed away at 84. He would have been 85 this November, but I think 84 years is a mighty good stretch in this day and age.
I don't really know what else I could say to update. I'll start posting on this more often because I am online at least 3 times a week. (Which is at least my 3 days off a week.) But, go ahead and drop me a msg here or a comment on my page. Take care and I'll talk to you later!
