<img src="http://www.petebs.plus.com/gaia/journalemotes/nervous.PNG" align="left">Yeah. I'm really feeling the good vibes spilling from my computer. After it nearly gave me a heart attack. See, I'll go from the top.
Today, I log on, and see the 'ZOMGLOWSPACE' bubble appear on the taskbar. Now I knew that I hadn't added anything drastic. On the contrary, I'd actually deleted a lot of stuff the night before. The Zipped and Unzipped versions of the BloodRayne II Demo took up a gig on their own, and since I only have eleven gigabytes, three of those being reserved for other uses. I look around, and what do I find? Dad's Porn. And a lot of it. Not just teasers or the free Devon Movies that litter the internet. The paid for stuff. Yeah. So I deleted it. Since then, Mother dear and I have formulated a plot (since she hates him looking at the stuff) that will cover my a**, but just in case he tries to exact revenge, I've moved a shitload of my files onto my computer upstairs. Now, soon I'll be burning it all onto CD just to be sure, but anyways. I'll continue.
After doing that, I walk upstairs, and try to redistribute disc space. As in delete and restructure partitions, logical drives etc. It didn't let me. The partition was corrupt, and after trying everything I could, it just wouldn't work. Whatever way I tried, it just chucked it back in my face while flipping the metaphorical birdie at me. So, I installed Linux, burned the files I needed off my computer onto a CD, then blew it all away and reinstalled XP. Looked good while I was reinstalling s**t, reorganising into three partitions (Windows, My Documents, and Projects), and I restarted.
The Hard drive. Went. MISSING.
It didn't show up at all. But, after a few tweaks of the BIOS, I had it running again. My heart was in my throat because I'd overwritten the burned CD already. I'd got it loaded, and promptly started cursing the machine for nearly giving me a heart attack. So yeah. All files are safe now, thank the non-existant Lord, but I've still got to sort out the files to do with my Projects.
Yup. I've been SUCH a busy boy today. Downloading stuff like there is no tomorrow. Mainly Anime from Anime Crave. I finished Hellsing, and am now downloading the last episode of .hack//LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT BRACELET. I've seen the former, but the latter will be new to me, so no doubt after I finish the menu for Hellsing, I'll be glued to my computer screen for the rest of the day. Which will probably be tomorrow anyhow. =D
Because I've been such a busybody, running up and down the stairs enough to constitute an Aerobic Workout (stretch those arms ladies!), I've not really talked to anyone in specific today. Alexa, as usual, was the main person, but even that was sporradic today. I've really had a lot to do. And it was such a b***h to see my computer say 'ZOMGNOHARDDRIVE! domokun ' while I was in the middle of my installing. Yeah. I cursed. Bigtime. I'm just glad the neighbours were at work.
In other news: I finally got my Electric Guitar Stand. It's made by the same company I got my other one from (which now belongs to a friend of my mother's since it was for BOTH Acoustic and Electric), Stagg, while still being dirt cheap. Good item. Very nice to see.
Another, my Mother decided to adopt Dad's way of giving chores. Letting me do it in my own time, but for a certain time (as in when she gets back from work). I did it, and she's now going to start using it more regularly. Score. =D
Also, paid my subscription for AC, and donated once to GAIA. Just to keep the Ads off my back and an envelope in my Inventory for when I have the full set. I don't really care about the items anymore. I just want the envelopes for a complete set.
Anyways, gots a lot to do tomorrow. Mainly to do with the Forum (a.k.a. Niobi Project), so I'll be stuck on my a** drinking more delicious Dr. Pepper. And listening to 'New World', the theme to .hack//LOTB. Really, it's just stuck in my head.
Anyways, must dash.

Alrighty. The stand (no, not the one by Steven King), yes. You are gonna play a song for me one day, right? Because musicians and artists are some of the coolest people ever. heart
But given up on the mass donating, eh? I'm telling you, just don't donate 'til after they unseal the envelopes. That way, you won't waste money if they suck, and if they rock, they'll sell for more due to their coolness, as well as sheer unsealing inflation. Yea, I may not lookit, but I'm a/n [theorectical] exchange whore, too. *Waits for the whore joke.*
