“Al??? What are you doing? Please, just let me hel-“ The dark red Tanzec’s head was torn off, seemingly by nothing more than air. It landed on the blood smeared stone and rolled slightly, the expression on the dragonish aliens face surprised. Alcatrass stood completely still as the body slowly fell to the ground, as lifeless as a rock now. His eyes were expressionless as he looked down at the body of his friend, covered in blood. He let out a slight breath before lifting his head to the dark stone ceiling and letting loose a cry of absolute anguish and torment, claws articulated and covered in gore. Nothing answered the call, the bodies lying around him almost accusingly staring at him. He lowered his head, swaying back and forth to a tune only he could hear as he traced a small figure eight in the pool of blood at his feet. He had forgotten why he was here….something….training? A duel? A grin slowly stretched his reptilian features and he fell to his knees, giggling quietly to himself as he brought a talon up to prod at the organs of one of the dead, leaning forward and sniffing at them slightly, his ears flicking forward. What was it he had done before now? Let’s see……He thought as he started to pull the digestive track out of the belly of the corpse slowly, his eyes dull. He had been here….it was so hard to think…. With a shriek he threw the guts away from himself, his eyes wide with fear as he flicked them from side to side. “Where am I???” He cried, tears coming to his eyes. “Delaf? Where…” He looked down at the head of the dark red Tanzec and a blood covered hand covered his mouth. “Oh creator…what…what’s going on?!?” He asked loudly, his panic rising as he looked around at the dead bodies. There was a scraping of talons coming toward him from behind, echoing off the stone walls. A squad of Tanzec came to a halt in the training caves as he slowly turned to look at them. The one in the front looked horrified and sickened, her silver eyes roaming over the carnage before coming to rest on the blood covered creature in the midst of it all. “Alca? Dear creator what’s happened here?” She asked, her eyes wide. He narrowed his eyes and stood up, hunching slightly as he faced the group. “He’s here…..I know he is. I’ll kill him……I’LL KILL HIM!!!!” He shrieked, a whistling noise whipping up. The Tanzec’s dodged to the side as a deep cut appeared in the rock where the group had been standing a split second before. He grabbed as his skull, curling over in evident pain. “I won’t let him in…..i’ll protect them….I have to save them…” He muttered as the group reassembled a bit closer to him. “Al….please….did you do this?” The silver eyed one asked, her voice pained. He looked up, eyes sinister. “You’re a monster!!!!” He hissed, lunging at her and tackling her to the ground, his teeth inches from her neck. He paused, recognition in his eyes. “…Kell?” He asked, his eyes wide. Before he could say more, the rest of the group piled on him, grabbing at his arms and neck, pulling him off of Kell and restraining him. Alcatrass’ mind shifted and he struggled, a bit too late as they pulled his arms behind his back and clapped them in strong cold bindings. He hissed and spat as they pressed his head against the ground, a helmet descending on him. He futily tried to use his psionics at the last second, only to have them die as they reached the helmet. It settled on his skull and he felt all of his power go dead, causing him to struggle even more and screech in anger and fear. As the Tanzec’s pulled his head up, they silenced that by strapping the helmet’s supports under his jaw, effectively muzzling him as he stopped struggling completely, going limp. He could distantly hear Kell above him. “Alright…let’s bring him back to the city…a team’ll come out to clean up the casualties.” Her voice was dull as she turned and walked away. He could feel the others pick him up, letting his legs trailing in the dirt behind him as they dragged him out. With a last try at the straps around his jaw he went completely limp, lapsing into unconsciousness with not a thought in his head as to what had occurred.
