Running a marathon? At fourteen? |

Yup, I'm going to be running a marathon later this year, I'm 13 now but when the time comes for the marathon I'll be 14.
I mainly want to run one because of my parents. My dad ran the marathon I'm running last year, it was his frst marathon. My mom on the other hand, made a bet with her brother when she was 14 and ran her first marathon the, So now, I want to run a marathon, my goal time right now is three hours.
But sadly, running dosent come cheap, decent watches cost about $200, good shorts and a technical t-shirt ar about $75 each, socks, one pair is about $10, there's GU, thats about $30 for a box of 30, and most importantly, there's the shoes, I haven't gotten fitted, they tell me which shoes they have in my size and that are best for my arch, foot width, heel pattern, distance going to be run, weight, and most importantly, how well I'm able to move in them. Didn't know how much went into a running shoe did you girls? In running, its not just what looks cute.
