The song echoed through the hallways of a dead ship.
"Yeah I see you out there...
And you know I do...
Just look around you
And your see me looking back."
The voice was full of life, and cheerful, vastly contrasting where the song was heard.
"And I never blink you know...
No, I'm like an electronic STAAAAAAALLLLLKKKKKEEEEEERRRRRR!
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHhhh yeeaaah...
And I know you, better then you know yourself...yeah and deep down you know this to be true."
Then a groan echoed in the hallways, followed by a loud clang. The female voice cried out
"WHAT THE HELL?!!!"
A soft chuckling echoed afterwards, and in a large bay a man climbed out from under a small fighter and grinned up at a security camera "Your annoying me you know..." The man said in a tired voice.
"Riiiight...and just because I'm an AI, doesnt mean I cant feel Kino..."
Kino laugh as he walked over and picked up a wrench, thrown at a now busted security camera. Then he ran a hand through his dark brown hair, now long and ragged, hiding most of his facial features. "How long..." He asked, sitting down on the ground and looking up at another camera "How long have we been adrift anyway?"
"Two months..." The voice echoed back, still in a cheerful tone.
The man sighed and then went back to the ship "And now...now finally someone has answered our signal...but just as our luck goes its from a damn Zelos ship...hell It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have a bounty of..."
"1.8 billion credits"
"Yeah thanks for the reminder Luca...really..."
"Oh don't mention it kino, I'm always here to help!" she chimed in.
The man just sighed and shook his head before returning to work on the ship "Well I'm going to throw this baby into slipspeed if they jack in on the other-side...and if they come in bayside...well...then I Guss I need to go into the fetal position and hope they don't beat me too badly..."
"Oh...your such an optimist..." Luca said before starting to hum a melody through the ship.
"Too bad its not calming..." Kino muttered under his breath
