He is capable of twisting his own perception of reality to ensure his own "rightness" in any scenario- He Can Do No Wrong, For He Is Kerrigan! He can fabricate explanations that cater to his own prejudices in order to explain any event in his life, including his own lack of physical backup to complement his mental front and his reasons for mating with others.
Despite all his cynicism and his bleak view of the world (understatement,) he still would rather manipulate a fellow Soquili into believing he is something he is not than act as his abrasive self. He explains this as "the manipulation and deception make the act so much more painful," whereas an outsider may look upon this and wonder whether he is really all that abrasive at all... if capable of pretending to be otherwise.

Personality: Think of her as a tiny fairy, bright and bubbly and light-spirited with a happy air about her. She prefers her teensy-flutter form, and absolutely adores nature and all manner of flowers.

Tiahana is now an older mare, wiser in some ways and still innocent in others- she retains her youthful spirit through it all.

History: In her youth, she had and raised foals with a Cerynei stallion. They parted on amiable terms, once their children had grown. This experience taught her a few things about life, as motherhood brought maturation to her effervescent demeanor. She will fight to protect those she loves, but she does so in blind adrenaline and her small form does not do much good- she even saved her son from becoming a Kalona-snack once! (well... with a lot of help). Her son now has a Lifemate of his own, and has raised his own children with his beloved.

His maturation has come through experience, reflection, and resolution. He genuinely cares for those he meets, and yet he is somewhat guarded to avoid further hurt to himself. Personality: Kurai wanders freely through the lands, seeking knowledge beyond mere self-controlled conviction. She follows some internal mechanism that dictates her actions, never lingering too long in any one location; why stay when it does not hold that which she seeks? Though she is entirely self-sufficient, some part of her desires more than the entirely solitary existence she has. She does not seek love, rather... camaraderie.
Ethereal and at times distant, she is often lost in a dream-scape of her own devising, viewing the world through the veiled mists of her own whimsical subconscious. She is not merely day-dreaming, rather seeking to develop her understanding of the world around her by retreating into the depths of her subconscious where puzzles are rendered clear.

History: A wayward foal, she had often been the cause of much despair to her loved ones- disappearing for days at a time, lost in thought, only to return safe and sound... anguished ("was I the cause of their discomfort?" and amazed by her parents' joyful cries. Though she meant no harm, she came to understand that her actions affect the emotions of others- her pure heart lead her to form some semblance of social etiquette to negate any possibility of causing others any emotional ills.
She was raised under Shinto teachings (modified slightly to suit the Soquili world) by a close family friend. The most prominent is her gentle, accepting nature, developed to contain a rather benevolent soul.
As she grew, she became more refined, more dignified, now capable of surfacing to hold even an advanced philosophical discussion with a stranger. She has an unnerving pupil-less gaze, when she finally focuses- when a Soquili has her full attention she will make continuous eye-contact.
She is a strong-minded, intelligent individual whose outward serenity masks a fierce intelligence that soothes rather than burns those cognizant of it.
