Brief Description of your Pride/Pack: This band of Wild Dogs are scavengers through and through. Resourceful, and determined to survive, they have taken up residence in a free patch of land. Unfortunately, it is mostly deserted land at the base of a rocky mountain. The mountain itself is strictly off limits except for specific expeditions blessed by the Queen. The pack's home is the base of this mountain. Not for the faint of heart, these wild dogs do it hard. While they may not all be physically strong, they are all mentally prepared to work hard for their survival. Physical strength is not a requirement of a pack member, but it helps. Religiously and strategically a very neutral pack. The pack lands are essentially rogue lands, in that many may pass through unbothered by the wild dogs here; but all strangers will be treated with cautious and watched from a safe distance as they pass through. Familiar Rules: All familiars allowed.

Pride/Pack History: A recently formed pack, there is little history behind this collective of wild dogs. The 'Queen' was found unconscious, injured and disorientated at the base of the mountain; a slim, pale creature, she relied on those who had found her in order to survive.
Being unable to travel far, she would send them on missions to bring back resources to the scarce environment. Once she was well enough, the pack had a small following and the Queen was determined to stay in the environment, with or without her pack-mates. Some followers may have left at this point, thinking her crazy but she was determined to stay with the Mountain.
Currently: The Pack is expanding its borders, moving beyond the landscape they call home in order to find more resources and increase their numbers.

Vorona was the Queen of a pack (the Juu'kilele) before a landslide struck the mountain-dwelling pack, and this pack was created from those 'remnants'. Some of the original structure still remains, and, at some point, this pack will reclaim their homelands atop the mountain. ❧ ✿ Territory: The pack live at the base of a large rocky mountain, the tip of which is coated in snow. Their territory is not vast, extending only as far up the mountain as a few meters, where a few caves are used for storage. The rest of the mountain is off limits to all pack members, except for those few expeditions blessed by the Queen herself.
The territory extends out around the base of the mountain. The landscape on the ground is rocky, with heavy grasses and shrubs nearby. There is very little coverage from trees, but the shrubs and grasses provide adequate hiding from threats or unwanted visitors. Despite the foliage, there are very few prey beasts who live in the area, and very few wildlife other than the wild dogs. It is quite barren.
There is a stream running on the northern edge of the pack's territory where they source their water from. There are herds of prey beast beyond the stream out in the grass lands, but it is at least a half-day travel from the pack's homelands.
☼ ☂ Weather: Early mornings, there's a heavy mist which lingers around the pack's territory, shrouding them in a cold, wet blanket. This mist will lift by mid-day at the latest, but will return each night to cloak them.
Often, this mist is used to aid their scavenging and to protect them from threats by hiding their location.

xxxScavenge This is how the pack survives. Their home lands are not lush and fertile, and so the majority of their resources and livelihood comes from outside sources.
All adult members of the pack are encouraged to go into the rogue lands - make friends with neighboring prides, source goods for the pack, collect what they can to make the pack lands more prosperous.
It is all very communal living.
xxxThe Mountain Strictly off limits under the current reign of Queen Vorona. No one knows exactly why it is off limits, except that there was a landslide many months ago atop the mountain, but despite the lack of information, the ban is strictly policed.
There is a small portion of the lower mountain that is used for storage in the caves, but guards patrol access to the higher areas and will turn back anyone who dares cross it without express orders from the Queen.
xxxBreedings It is seen as irresponsible to bring lives into an environment where they are not supported. As such, adolescents are rarely allowed to breed. Mated pairs are preferred but as they are a small pack, all breedings are counted as blessings (as well as a strain on the pack's already fragile resources).
Parents of the new pups are expected to work harder to support the pups until they reach adolescence and can start to pull their own weight in the pack.
xxxRogues Welcomed! However, they shouldn't overstay their welcome in the pack lands without joining. Once they join, they are put to work to scavenge and supply for the pack. Rogues who linger too long are considered a burden on the pack, and after a few weeks, if they are not keen to join, they will be moved on.
xxxThe Rogue Lands While the pack has its own home lands, the members of the pack are strongly encouraged to visit the rogue lands to gather resources. This opens the pack up to a lot of interactions with other species and other wild dogs.
All wild dogs who leave are expected to return however, unless they have told the pack that they are leaving. Search parties will be sent out for them should they not return.
xxxOther Species Treated very much the same as all rogues. They will be offered shelter, and expected to pull their own weight, however the pack is purely wild dogs. Any orphans of non-wild dog species will be raised until adolescence/adulthood, and will then be expected to find a home elsewhere. Of course they would be welcome to visit, or stay, but once adult, will no longer be full members of the pack.
No non-wild dog adults are accepted as full members.
Familiars are 100% welcomed however. All species, though prey beasts will need to be mindful.
xxxReligion There is no strict religion amongst the wild dogs, but it is HIGHLY public that Queen Vorona worships the mountain as if it was a god itself. She is respectful of all gods, and goddesses but she treats the mountain with a high level of reverence.
Religion is a personal belief in the pack and differs between wild dogs.
(The pack is in the process of being blessed by a Goddess, which will create an 'overarching' religion which reflects the scavenging nature of the pack, however religion will stay a personal belief for each wild dog.)
xxxScavenger Hunt The Scavenger Hunt, while every member will scavenge for goods at least once in their lifetime, is an event which encourages the entire pack to participate. The Queen will announce a list of things which must be brought to her, and the first to do so will win a prize. It is a pack-wide event, complete with prizes and assorted goodies for those who participate.

xxxThe Naming When the Queen steps down, a new Queen must be 'named'. The old Queen will have to decide between the two selected Princesses as to who will be the most suited to support the pack. There will be a few 'tests' which both Princesses will have to complete in order to prove their worthiness.

x x x x Consort (0/1) Chosen mate of the Queen. They have no real power, and will never take the throne themselves. However, this is a respected position within the pack, and they may be treated differently by some pack members.
x x xPrincess/es (0/2) There will be two princesses named. They do not have to be related to the Queen, however they are next in line for the throne. Once the Queens steps down / dies, there will be a competition between the two Princesses to claim their right as the Queen.
x x xMountain (0/3) Specific guards who guard the Queen, Princess/es and Consorts. They rarely scavenge, spending their time in the pack but they can scavenge.
x x xBoulder (0/10) The mountain guards. They patrol the boundary between the pack and the mountain. They answer to the Mountain guards.
x x x Knights (0/10) The general 'protection' for the pride. These are the fighters/soldiers. There is little need for these, so there is limited positions available.
x x Artisan (Unlimited) These wild dogs take what the scavengers bring home and create usable products for the pack. For example; prey beast pelts into capes and bedding, ect.
x x Scavenger (Unlimited) General members of the pack. They make up the bulk of the pack, and do the scavenging and hunting. They find useful products and bring them back to the pack. These products can be honestly obtained (found in the rogue lands) but some pack members have a looser definition of 'scavenge', and may scavenge products that are already owned by another creature.
xSeeker (Unlimited) Youth Rank. Pup & Adolescent Rank. They are not expected to scavenge like the adults, however they are encouraged to hone their skills, and specific 'Pup/Adolescent' excursions to the rogue lands can happen with a Scavenger chaperone!
Alliances // ☑ Essentially other nearby packs/prides which allow them to scavenge in their lands. They may have trade agreements with these packs/prides!

I can offer Nil'nocere as an alliance for scavenging lands (they live in a foggy area as well, perhaps near by?) as well as Tangambili (who live higher, but not quite to the top of a mountain).
I will definitely figure out someone to place here, though, despite not having anyone yet 8D
