Well there is an anime thread so I though we needed a Music thread smile

So I'm just wondering what are your favourite types of music out there smile

I preferably like Techno music and Drum n Bass so my fav artist would be Rob Mayth and Feint
Also I enjoy some K-Pop here and there and J-Pop as well smile

Droppin in with some nerdy rap music since.........now!

Yeah Imma Pokemon nerd. Sorry. I'm open to most music though i tend to stick to the techno, dubstep, and electronic stuff recently. I'm a big sucker for 8 bit music too.

I like songs Remixed with Dubstep, but not just Dubstep, it hurts my head lol

I. Love. Music.

I. Mostly. Dislike. Mainstream. Music.

Jazz. Grew up on it because my dad is a big fan of it. Dave Brubeck for example is great.
Old school R&B/blues. Again since a young age growing up on marvin gaye and so on.
Gangsta Rap/hip hop. Is the s**t. The modern day mainstream rap that you hear today.... Lets just say that there have been things that came out of my a** that is more interesting then that. But But underground rapper like MF Doom, Madlib and Jean grae is the s**t.
Rock. It all started one day when i heard the song "Otherside" by red hot chilly pepper. I fell in love with it right away and bought the album. ******** great album! After that i kept exploring rock and eventually i came upon Porcupine tree. More on that in a moment.
Metal. Kicks ******** a**. But i don't like black metal or goregrind. They ussually don't have any melody and just seems too much like random nonsense. But melo-death metal, gothenburg metal, prog metal. All good s**t. Opeth is a band any metal fan should experience.
Funk. As much as i detest dancing. If i listen to some james brown. I'd be shaking my a** left and right, up and down.... But only when i'm alone of course.

I can keep going but, basically. If the song is good, i like it. Doesn't matter what genre or if it's mainstream. It's just that mainstream is a constant source of disappointment.

But back to porcupine tree. Steven Wilson is a genius musician. Porcupine tree, no man, IEM, blackfield, bass communion and he does solo work. It's like this man runs on batteries. It's like he never runs out of idea's. There has never been a song he's made that i did not enjoy. It's like this man is making songs specifically for me. And i enjoy that quite a lot.

Anything except country, western, and world sounds. You know, those sounds of the rainforest and crap like that. that gets on my nerves. But I especially love rock, retro, metal, but not alternative or soft. If you wanna be gay and listen to that s**t, go do it with your sounds of the rainforest boyfriend.

Ahhh music one of my loves in life heart

And I say that in the pickiest way possible
I used to love all music and most of the time can tollerate anything but I'm not a huge country/western fan, and I also dont like the sounds of rain forests and waterfalls stare I'm a massage therapist and have to listen to that s**t day in and day out.
But what I do like:
Video Game music (yeah I'm a dork)
Rock (anything usually gets me going but I really like 80's rock)
Classical
Rap (just a little the s**t about drugs and killin people gets on my nerves)
Dubstep (no idea why just love it)
Techno (its just....... good)
I love Crooners (Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé make my heart soar)
Mostly my fiance and I will listen to Bob Marley (btw love Raggae music and foreign like Korean music and Japanese music)
Polka Music (XD no idea why but its bouncy)
But yeah I could go on forever 3nodding
I have favorite songs and stuff but I dont feel like typing out why I love them if you really wanna know just PM me or reply to this comment XD

This is my kinda thread :3

I like all music... unless its a bad song song all around.

My main type of music to listen too is post-hardcore, pop, dubstep, and Indie.

1. I <3 anyone who plays guitar and sing the same time (ex. Katy Perry, Lights, Matt Tuck) it inspires me blaugh
2. I'm always willing to open up to new music, no matter what it is.
3. Lets dance?
