There was a sudden surge of excitement as the application form of "Sparrow" appeared in front of the gnome. Then the excitement faded as the lack of "Captain" and "Jack" became apparent. Without nothing more to do, the gnome quietly sipped its rum until it was all gone. Then it quietly and sadly placed another eyepatch on its head to match the first one already covering one good one. "One *hic day," it slurred with a hiccup, "Mah cap'n'll cooooooome."

❖ A Grim Reaper who uses a shadow scythe.

❖ A big nerd who loves math.

❖ Slightly dyslexic at times.

❖ Athletic.

❖ Cheeky and very easygoing.

❖ Someone who gets lost way too easily.

❖ He's kindhearted and calm. Sparrow rarely gets angry, rarely gets upset, and always does his best to make sure that others around him are comfortable and taken care of. He loves people, he loves making friends, and he loves being of use, being helpful.

Brought up in a loving family with a doting mother, cheerful father, and three older siblings (triplets; two boys, one girl), as well as one younger sister, Sparrow is, in fact, the shortest and the runt of the family. His brothers and sister all tease him about this, but never mockingly, and really he doesn't mind it all that much.

What Sparrow lacks in height, he makes up for in other ways. He's intelligent and confident, cautious (most of the time) and daring, and he's not afraid to stand up for what he believes in.

❖ Sparrow does not remember anything or anyone anymore. He has lost all of his memories regarding his time at Amityville so far and is essentially reverted back to being a first year.

❖ Y3 | Shots of Black: Swift Strikes Sparrow is able to use his scythe to "fling" shadows as projectiles.

❖ Y2 | Shadow Pins: The Chill Sparrow's scythe, like all reapers, is the most important aspect of his FEAR. He can use it to "pin" his opponents by their shadows. Using the blade to "capture" the shadow, Sparrow can hold an opponent in place long enough to give himself a bit of time to recover.. When there aren't many shadows, or even none at all, it makes it much more difficult for him to use his FEAR. When he has managed to successfully pin an opponent, depending on the strength of the person he's attacking, it only lasts a short time before the other can break away.

❖ Y1 | Black Shadow: Swift Strikes Sparrow can conjure shadows without the scythe and use them as projectiles.



❖ Y1 | "For a few crucial seconds, Grim Reapers can shift into a shadowy, wispy intangible substance. They cannot sadly, pass through walls this way."

❖ Y2 | Sparrow has the ability to manipulate shadows (minimally, nothing extravagant).

❖ Y3 | Sparrow can now manipulate shadows much more confidently, meaning he can use them as physical objects (i.e. if he wants to sit down, he can draw up some shadows and use them as a sitting place). Nothing too extravagant, but enough that it's useful.
