vivienne is gonna be clair de lune's familiarrr. <3 viv is a blind oracle who offers counsel and predictions to others. based on a vision she had years ago, she believes that she and clair were destined to meet, and has refused to leave his side ever since their first encounter. she believes that he's destined for great things, some sort of higher purpose, but clair is just an ordinary soq living his ordinary life. he doesn't really know what to make of viv and her... eccentric ways, but he's certainly grown fond of her! she's very encouraging and doting, and he has a soft spot for his new companion. <:
Penumbra (Paid Flaffle: Foodtober Familiars) is going to be Naupaka Kahakai's familiar! they meet during the eclipse - he takes shelter in one of the local caverns and gets the fright of his life when he's nearly smacked in the face by the bat, only to realize she's just as panicked and confused as he is. she turns out to be mute and communicating is rocky at first, but they take some time to figure things out as they wait out the eclipse together within the safety of the cavern. she even shows him some local plants, some of which he, an avid gardener, has never even seen before!
