DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM
The Hunter Name: David Brant Nicknames: Davey, Davii, D7, Delta Seven Gender: Male Age: 22 25
Category: Moon (Rescue and Defense, screw that 'repair' stuff)
Personality: David is a former officer of the army, and it shows. Taciturn and brusque, he likes to just buckle down and deal with the problem at hand. He doesn't believe in whining, and is used to seeing whiners get corporal punishment so there will be culture shock with that not happening any more. David only speaks his mind when invited to, or if you've stuffed up - he certainly won't be explaining his plans or actions out to you beforehand, he likes to just get on with things. More than just a bit impatient, he expects people to be able to keep up with him and to be able to handle what he can handle, even if they haven't had his training. He's not sure how to handle reminders that other people aren't like him, usually resulting in him clamming up again or going off solo.
Team loyalty and protection is a big thing for him. Now that the Hunters are all on the same side, he's got their backs and expects them to have his. Even if you've been a b*****d to him, even if he's been a b*****d to you, he knows how to compartmentalise. Once a mission begins, personal feelings are out the door and David is in full Soldier mode, which means no man left behind, taking a bullet for a teammate, and all that jazz. Just... please don't ask him to lose his other arm for you?
He's a caring guy for those he views as his (mostly the Deltas he worked with, and Thev and Deli to a degree), but you probably wouldn't guess it to see him in action. Not a demonstrative guy. He considers himself practical, though others might view him as heartless instead, due to his lack of expressing his feelings.
David's big trigger at the moment is his left arm (or rather, lack thereof). Making a big deal of it will have him on edge, insulting him or making fun of it will send him into an epic rage. This is the one thing at the moment that will cause him to forget any and all team loyalty. He will get physically violent.
Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Death Solo David was a Lieutenant in the British Army who was given a discharge after refusing to execute an entire village in a foreign country. David didn't believe the claims from his superiors that they were witches until they disappeared in a manner that was, quite frankly, supernatural. Rather than find a new job, David spent all his time searching for answers about what had happened and if witches and magic truly did exist... which brought him to the attention of the Hunters. David signed up because he'd already lost the only thing he wanted to be do with his life.

The Weapon
Name: Azrael Nicknames: That b*****d Sword, Sir Bitchblade Type of Weapon: Sword (idk what type. Azrael says the most awesome type there is.) De-summoned form: A third tag joins Davey's existing dogtags. There is a design of a basic sword on it. Azrael is very upset that he wasn't a straight-out sword pendant so he could jab Davey in the heart (he does try as a dogtag, but it's not very effective). Former species of weapon: Demon, of the Fallen Angel variety. Gender: Male
Personality: Azrael is a superior, sharp-tongued b*****d. Formerly a demon, he viewed himself as above all the other races of HalloweenTown, so to find himself forced to serve lowly humans was a giant affront to his pride. Due to his prickly nature, he has been mistreated by other Hunters and often abandoned for others weapons when the Hunters grew sick of him. This has not helped Azrael's personality at all, driving him to become even more determined to hurt before he is hurt, and enforcing his belief that all humans are cowardly, disloyal ants.
Despite all that, he continues to keep choosing a new Hunter every so often. He's a little lonely, though he'll never admit it. And David seems almost immune to Azrael's barbs, which is completely annoying! (But also gives him hope that David won't abandon him like the other Hunters.)
David calls him the Bitchblade for a reason. When Azrael isn't sulking loudly in the back of David's head (please believe David, never has utter silence been so loud or so bitchy), he's keeping up a running commentary - pointing out everyone's many flaws, bitching about everyone ESPECIALLY DAVID, encouraging David to kill just about anyone he comes across.
Basically, he Does Not Like Anyone Especially Not You Davey (Okay Maybe Just A Little But You Never Heard Him Say That). Yes, yes, Azrael is vaguely tsundere (don't tell him that, though).
Weapon Ability To Taste of Death Azrael releases his charge by coating his blade in a poisonous bile - no where near as deadly as the drop of gall that the myths say Angels of Death used for their kills, of course. It had a mild-to-middling acidic effect on cuts from Azrael. If it drips from the blade, it has no effect. If it touches clothing or bare skin, it has no effect. It only adds the extra punch to wounds made by Azrael, a burning from within the cut. These wounds will be harder/slower to heal than normal, but not deadly (unless the strike was deadly). The 'coating' lasts for 30 seconds at this stage - as David and Azrael gain more experience together, the charge may last for longer.
