Trainee FAQ:

- All trainees of Deus Ex are assigned to one faculty member, also known as a Council member head of division. The head of division assigns them individual tasks as well as a long term goal, in which the trainee must head out to prove their worth. Once they have achieved the goal in their assessments they may advance to the next task level

Trainee levels:

- Entry level - trainees who have just been accepted into Deus Ex, their focus is to understand both their weapons and Fear, and be able to define themselves. At the end of this level they will take a test (Faculty PRP) to earn their bonded weapon.

- Regular level - trainees who have bonded with their weapon. Their goal is to be able to understand both the use of their weapon and Fear, and be able to integrate with their weapons. They must finetune their battle style and abilities.

- Advanced level - trainees who have become experts in their battle field, but must still hone their experience outside of Deus Ex Academy. These trainees take special missions as well.

NPC FAQ:

- Faculty assignments are dependent on the student's Hunter classification (Sun, Moon, Mist, Life, Death). Certain faculty members specialize in a certain fighting style or weapons ability. Due to certain faculty heads being away on long term missions, other Council members may substitute for a trainee of that classification until the Council member's return.

Faculty members:

- Caelius: - Council head of the class of Death Hunters, he claims his methods are for a reason. He focuses his assignments on learning and tactical diversion techniques, and is quite famous for his below zero tolerance for other Hunters. His lack of interest of certain affairs of others on Deus Ex is often mistaken for ignorance, leading to potentially disastrous conflicts.
Weapon: Circe is a simple energy scythe that uses speed based attacks that can push opponents back.

Histories (Wiki version with no links I hate links cry):

Pre-1999: Joined the Hunters in Deus Ex as a runic Sun Hunter. Due to expectations and resentment from discovering his "dead" biological father, the current Death lead at the time (Liam Innis), spends most of his time trying to write his own path. Develops a rivalry and begrudging friendship with several Hunters who would make an apperance again during the 1999 mission. As a Runic Hunter he has no weapon of his own yet has never considered being a weapons candidate.

Post 1999: The death of all his considered friends and allies as well as the untimely bonding with Circe sends him into a catatonic state. As Deus Ex was in a level of disorganization and turmoil with the broken ranks, his absence is less noted. His admittance as a survivor of the 1999 incident becomes of peculiar interest to a Death Hunter trainee, Ben. A year and a half of recovery leaves him at least mentally functioning. With coercing from Ben he is admitted to Death division and works under close supervision with the acting Death lead following Liam's death. Inadvertedly leads to the existing Death lead's fall, and then a period of unstructured chaos within the division. Takes position as lead after proving his competency to the Council. Tensions involving his questionable leadership tactics and convenient death of the past lead cause a seggregration of Hunters in the division. Eventually inherits the role and rebuilds the division. Due to the efficiency of handling matters, he has had quite a long reign since as the Death lead.

Circe - A weapon dating deep through history. She is the biological Fear-based aunt of Medea, both considered a trio of sisters, by name, with what was considered at the time, the Goddess Hecate. Eventually after the collapse of their structure, all three parted ways. She became enraptured enough in the ways of Men to follow them. Curious by nature and extremely affectionate and posessive, all her partners, except in light circumstances, are all men who she coerces to be her soulmate. As an enchantress, Circe weaves memories and lies. She is capable of consuming memories and takes them as payment for her assitance and power. Her interest shifts, though she is patient, as she pilots one puppet in hopes for another....

- Mark - Assistant in the Death Division. Is a huge nerd, does questionable hobbies for money off the side and is a little detached from reality. Mark thinks he's super badass and cool, which is just geek lingo for bein too l337.

History:
Originally a Life Hunter, he was offered this position after cracking into several database-heavy files on a side operation and recovering valuable information regarding a series of missions that would eventually lead to the collapse of the Lost Clans. He took it into consideration after his twin's death. Mark currently has almost a lot of hidden network control in Deus Ex, including the unofficial channels, and is somewhat efficient in converting and storing as well as programming data organization and retrieval.

- Dr.H - Head of the class of Life Hunters, as well as the hunters research and development labs. Thinks Caelius is a big diva, and views the rest of the Hunters as test subjects and goons. Designer of the Testing and Exploration Golems. One of the primary factors in the recently successful project: Merlin 2.0
Weapon: Marie - a strange glowing chain weapon that Dr. H uses, formerly an Iguana Deity.

- Aria - Head of the class of Mist Hunters, Aria often picks up what the other leads often neglect: discipline and responsibility for the Hunters and Hunter trainees. She considered the reinforcement and also backup for tasks, and because of her prowess as a Mist Hunter (jack of all trades), often takes long periods of leave in order to fulfill a long-term mission.
Weapon: Symphony - a flamethrower that fits on her one arm - woe to the person who gets in range.
References: [x]

- Edith - As the current Moon Leader, she is a serious all business Hunter who enjoys experimenting with food in her spare time. She devotes to her line of work her personal care for trainees under her division as well, as the Moon Division is considered one of the most responsible.
Weapon: ??? - A baseball bat that she brings out during battle and sometimes not during battle
References: Edith is a slim black female often carrying a baseball bat.

- Allan - The current lead for Sun Hunters, Allan is considered brash, overly-confident and a little too overbearing. Just a little. His unrivaled fascination for all of the things anime makes him difficult at times to communicate with, as his spirit animal is probably a giant lovable Pokemon or something. He has a good heart and good intentions, though perhaps not the best understanding of how things really work around here as everyone is his nakama.
Weapon: Noah - A giant sword that changes appearance in general shape and hilt form, though its size is always a little oversized. His favourite shape currently is based of Ichigo's butcher sword in Bleach. No, seriously.
References: Allan is tall redhead wearing ta long tattered white coat.

- Clarice - Dr. H's faithful assistant, who gets all the hard work inflicted on her, like a status condition. There is really not much about her life that really is meaningful right now, woe is her.
Weapon: Hraegar - a ridiculously large sword that can only be summoned if the walls are greater than ten feet apart from each other.

- Lance - A former Sun Hunter, transferred to the Mist Division after a mission failed to kill him and left him paralyzed from the waist down. He very rarely leaves the Mist Lounge to the point where many do think of him as dead, much to Lance's relief. Known for his wheelchair, prefers to wear his jacket over his legs instead of on his back.
Weapon: Avila - a lance which was formerly a monocerus. Nickname is Afïr. Her abilities are unknown.

- Killzone - Temp Life assistant while Clarice is away. A large black man who strongly resembles Mr. T and is often seen in a leotard. Known for strong language, appreciation of dolphins, and desire to help other find some ******** zen.
Weapon: ??? - a metal knuckle that resembles a skeletal grin.

- Simon - All work and no play makes Simon, the Sun division assistant, extremely efficient. It is all about getting things done, no matter what and how trivial the tasks, and the efficiency in which how to work. Even if the task is folding origami or making bento boxes. It needs to be efficient.
Weapon: - ??? - A pair of handguns that can be disassembled of which Simon shoots with rather deadly accuracy. Sometimes as friendly fire.

- Charlotte - Charlotte was recently discharged from the hospital to take up the mantle as the Moon Division Assistant. Quiet and unassuming, she has a hard time communicating in words, preferring pictures and musical terms and notes. Has a taste for the high class and fancy.
Weapon: - ???

Dorm Rooms: depending on your rank, the availability and freedom to do what you'd like with your rooms may vary.
- Trainees: One room equipped with a single sized bed, tiny closet, desk. Upon arrival all walls are blank white, and the floor is cold tile or cheap carpet. There is room for perhaps one or two more pieces of furniture, but that's pushing it. There are also only two electrical outlets in the room. Bathrooms and kitchen areas are communal.
- Trainees (Dungeon): One room with a single sized bed, stand-alone temporary closet, desk. Lighting is poor, and in some rooms it's non-existent. Read here for more information and suffering. No electrical outlets.
- Intermediates: One room that's bigger than the trainee dorm rooms. Comes with a double sized bed, closet, desk. There is enough room to add three or four additional pieces of furniture, and at least six electrical sockets. Bathrooms and kitchenettes are communal.
- Hunters: Two rooms a bit bigger than the Intermediates' dorm rooms. Comes with a queen sized bed, closet, desk standard. Hunters have clearance and money to turn their rooms into whatever they wish, from personal kitchens, stupidly luxurious bathrooms, ninja training rooms, dreamatoriums, and other such things. If the room doesn't come with one, bathrooms and kitchenettes are communal.
- Hunters - Luxurious Suite: The ultimate in comfort. Those hunters who have earned it get their own rather luxurious bathroom, shower facility, and even a small walk-in closet. Your suite has two separate rooms, a small kitchen, and a den. Fridge, microwave, oven, TV, and basic furniture is included. Go here to find out how to earn it.
