Saw it once or twice. Can't really say I enjoyed it sweatdrop

It's funny, my mom actually watched that movie constantly when I was little, I must say I really didn't have much of a taste for it.

Other movies to consider would be the 1973 version of The Wicker Man, and The Witches of Eastwick. I enjoyed all of them (the Craft and Practical Magic as well) for the entertainment value. All of them capture elements of the pagan paths and the practice of witchcraft but none paint a true picture of the reality. It would be hard to do as ones religion and ones magic are very individual things and therefore each practitioner experiences them differently. In the instance of covens the experience is effected greatly by the mix of individuals involved. Much of the time magic and spiritual experiences are subtle and only really known to the practitioner. Due to this a genuine portrayal of paganism and magic in film would hampered as it lacks the flash that draws the movie going public.
