I think I have an idea;

Multiple beings cross over from an antimatter dimension, looking for a way to preserve their own world. They discover the power of Momentum and dueling energy, and after going through some tests they find that it might work. So after creating a powerful mist that could block the sun from eradicating them, they trick Kaiba Corporation into bringing forth a tournament that would fund their world with enough energy.

It's a start, but I hope that it might work.

I was thinking of a Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's type role play. I was thinking of just after the WRGP and a new enemy has arrived. The new enemy would probably have to have the god cards or something.

This is just an idea and if anyone wants to make it I would be happy to be Co-GM.

Here's a thought:

Dartz returns in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's thanks to an evil force known only as The Hijackers. The Hijackers used to be a bunch of wannabe thugs that simply stole other's Duel Runners. But now, they've been given the Seal of Orichalcos to aid them. They're goal? To restart humanity in its purest state; one with only the Great Leviathan at command.

They'll accomplish this by stealing the souls of everyone. But this time, the Orichalcos is given to more than some amateur duelists. These guys are given powerful, divine decks. Each member given either a God Card, Sacred Beast, or Signer Dragon Card (Dragon's were replicated somehow).

These duelists can commonly be found with decks like "Malefic", "Dark World", "Cyberdark", or even element decks.

Thanks to Dartz, the Orichalcos has been upgraded, and the duels are with real monsters now, not just holograms. And there's another twist: The Orichalcos can now grant a person the ability of the engine of their deck. For instance, a Wind-Based Duelist using the Orichalcos can literally manipulate wind (to a reasonable extent), and use it to his/her advantage outside of a duel.

Due to Dartz's mistake of recruiting people like Rafael (for those that don't know, Rafael is a bad guy turned good; he lost after playing the Orichalcos, but didn't lose his soul due to the purity in his heart.), he's upgraded the Orichalcos to take anyone's soul who loses.

However, those with a duel spirit have an advantage. Because of these upgrades in the Orichalcos, there's got to be holes. So, what happens when you lose the duel? You lose your soul. But, if you care enough, you can send forth your one and only duel spirit to take your place; that is, if you're that twisted and uncaring for your closest friend.

Here's another one... Bear with me, I made this one up overnight.

Okay, so it's Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's era right now, and the Signers are reassigned; Yusei and the gang have passed away, and there're new Signers in town. Along with new Signers come new Dark Signers.

These new Signers are given the "Eye of Timaeus", "The Claw of Hermos", and the "Fang of Critias", along with the Egyptian God cards, and the Signer Dragons, as well. Why such powerful cards this time around? Because the Dark Signers are led by an old enemy whom has survived for a over a milennia: Yami Marik. He's spent his time in hiding, collecting the Millennium Pieces together with Yami Bakura. The two raised the Shadow Duelists so that one day they'd become the Dark Signers.

Now that they've come out, they've come with Millennium monsters. The Millennium monsters are, in short, real monsters, summoned by the Pieces. For instance, the Millennium Rod would unleash the Millennium Dragon of Ra. That is the ONLY monster within Marik's deck. He is unable to play any other monsters. So the new Dark Signers are either burn decks, drawing decks, or simply LP-Increase-based decks.

But what are the Dark Signers after this time? The magnificent Millennium Puzzle; it's yet to be found, and within is held the ultimate beast: The Millennium Exodus. With it, the powers of the world could be bestowed upon any one person with simply playing it.

Like I said, I came up with this last night, so it's just a rough sketch of an arc I'm working on. If anyone likes it, please speak up so I know whether or not to work on it more.

" It is a new age. Synchroing and Exceed has become a different branch of the Yugioh Game. Much like Traditional and Advanced Format. Except they have now become only allowed in the sub-Format of each Main Type...
[In case I lost you, Synchros and Exceed Summoning is only allowed in a specific Sub format of traditional and advanced, Banned in REGULAR Traditional and Advanced format. I mean lets face it. Synchros and Exceed(though IMHO exceed is some poopy) is too dominant in the game. Everything is about synchro synchro exceed exceed. The game NEEDS to branch back to be widely more diversified and NOT focus on just 2 types of monster abuse...]
Now Rituals, Fusions, and Tribute summoning are dominating main play. The Illusory System is now more advanced than ever before, duelists are now capable of interacting with their monsters, some taking one a life of their own.... wait, A LIFE OF THEIR OWN???????.... Yes, you heard that right, a glitch in the system has caused duel monsters to develop AI's. But Low and Behold an epidemic of Viruses have spread amongst the Duel System. Infecting many monsters and causing them to corrupt, take control of duelists and even kill them. Now a group of Duelists fight to protect their beloved decks from the evil of the virus. Fore the only way to kill the virus is to defeat the monster infected with it, thereby deleting it from the code. Slowly, one by one, the virus recedes. But in doing so it goes stronger. As if the deleted data is restored or saved and amassing withing a central area. What could this mean? Fight on and find out....

I Kinda have An Rp Idea that I think might be good...and would have a long story that would NOT be related to the show other then the use of Cards and some show plot devices such as Duel disk, Duel Spirits, Duel Energy, Losing of Souls, ect. There would be NO Show Characters allowed since it is set in more of a real world setting though there could be a crossover event planned in which Show Characters make Cameo's and maybe even duel sweatdrop .

Story Idea: Set in the Year 2004 a Group known as the Chaos Society begin to steal Duelist Duel Energy as well as there Souls in order to bring a Dark Spirit known as Fate into Our Dimension from the world of Spirits. A few Duelist who can see and summon the Spirits of Monsters rise up to take on the Chaos Society. Since its a past Rp no Syncro or Exceed cards would be allowed However For the Most part all other cards would be allowed. There would be a Part 2 planned that would bring the Rp to Current times though probably set in 2012 with a Card Game themed end of the world senario which would bring the Chosen duelist together to help a new Generation of Duelist save the world. This is Just the rough Draft of an Rp though if Anyone is interested helping Me work out the Kinks and starting it up Feel Free to pm me with Idea's, Sugestions, and anything else sweatdrop .
