Use this place to discuss any RPG coming soon for the DS or the Wii. Seems the better ones are coming out for the DS, seeing as NONE seem to be coming out for the Wii. At least not any time soon.

I have to admit this is done selfishly, as I've been on a seemingly permanent RPG binge for awhile. Started with a few, and now I have a shitload. Most suck, and I even went to the VC for a quick retro fix.

Here's a few I'm looking forward to:

Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume (NDS)

I've always been a fan of Square-Enix (granted, mostly the former half), and I've always loved the mythology of the Norse. Combining the two just makes sense.

I've also been wanting to delve into the series ever since I heard of it, but it was on the PSP/PS2/whatever else that wasnt my system. Comes out next month. 3/17

Avalon Code (NDS)

I'm not sure what to make of this game, but the story seems interesting enough to keep me...interested. A boy with a big book. I can relate. surprised

Releases soon enough to find out. 2/20

GAUNTLET (NDS)

FUUUUUUUUCK YES~!

It's Gauntlet Legends, you loved it on the N64, you loved it on the arcade, and it's releasing in a couple of weeks as well. 2/28.

Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (NDS/WII)
I'm fully aware that's a Wiki, so sue me. It's accurate enough

Get this.

You're either playing the Wii or the DS version of this game. But you can co-op, have a little brother or something play the DS version, and you play the Wii version. And you'll both be in the same party. ISNT THAT AWESOME?! They call it the 'Pollux Engine'.

Once again, you wait a month. 3/24

Your turn.

Alpha Protocol, because I love Spies.

Dragon Age, because I loved Baldur's Gate.

Dragon Quest 5,6, and 9, because I loved DQ.

Phantasy Star 0 because I'm playing PS4 as we speak.

And Suikoden Tierkreis, because I'm a sucker for any game that gives you 123049854630954678 characters to play with.

Aint it around 108 characters in the suikoden games? (some times there is some people to choose between but anyway...)

I'm not sure if you recall, but there was an announcement a bit ago that even though IX isn't out yet, X has been confirmed as a Wii-exclusive. Seems that either Nintendo loves DragonQuest or Enix Decided to smarten up and bring it's amazing series back to Nintendo for any more installments of the series.

It bugs me that this won't really connect to previous Suikoden games, but the fact that it's finally exploring the Mysterious Woods is awesome.

I'm looking forward to Avalon Code; its premise sounds unique enough to intrigue me quite a bit. Though I'm still a sucker for Pokemon Platinum too. XD
