Not sure if this is the right place to post (need deck help)

Okay, I wanna build a deck focusing on Felgrand Dragon's effect (but that strays away from the Structure deck it came in). Can anybody, well, I'm sure a lot of you can, WILL anybody help with this? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Could I build one on my own, yes. Would I most likely stray away from a competitive build and wind up building a deck more to my style? Yes. DX I'm looking for a competitive deck with this.


If it helps any at all, I bought 3 of that Structure Deck when it came out, so if there are cards I'd need multiple copies of from it, I have them.

hmm, well first off, let us know what you would like in the deck. If possible, maybe you should add monsters with high levels to better increase its attack. Since it would have a large number of high level monsters, maybe you should add Mauselium of the Emporor.

Well, that's why I said I have 3 of the Structure Deck. 'Cause I figured 3 Felgrand and maybe some other higher levels would help the deck, but I'm not sure which. Mausoleum would be good, but then I'd want something to gain lifepoints...

well I dueled someone who used a deck with high level monsters and mauseliun and he used cards like Nimbel Momonga, Draining Sheild, and this continueus spell, I cant remember the name, but you gain 500 LP whenever someone activates a spell card.

hm, I can try those. I have 3 of each of those, so that could help with lifepoints.

alright, and maybe a couple of Kaiser Sea Horse's wouldnt hurt either, since you'll probably be daeling mainly with Felgrand Dragon, and it is Light type it would help summon it if you dont have Mauselium on the feild.

Edit: Okay, I tried to include some more defensive cards for my Spells and Traps because I wanted most of the monsters to be cards to help out Felgrand Dragon in some way or another, or that benefit in some other way. This is what I came up with:


x3 Felgrand Dragon
x2 Jinzo (for protection from Trap like Magic Cylinder, etc. that might cause problems)
x1 Arcana Force Ex - The Light Ruler (not so much for summoning as for high level for Felgrand's effect)
x2 The Creator
x3 Kaiser Sea Horse (helps summon Felgrand or Creator)
x2 The Creator Incarnate (Helps to summon Creator)
x1 Sangan (Search out Decoy, Cretin, or Necromancer)
x3 Decoy Dragon
x2 Spear Cretin
x1 Chaos Necromancer (because I'd end up with a lot of monsters in the grave)

x2 Spell Absorption
x1 Card Destruction (to help get Felgrand Dragon in the grave)
x1 Cold Wave
x2 Foolish Burial
x2 Mausoleum of the Emperor
x2 My Body as a Shield (to protect against cards like Lightning Vortex)
x1 Trade-In (same as Card Destruction)
x1 Mystical Space Typhoon
x1 Mystik Wok (For good sized lifepoint gain)

x1 Call of the Haunted
x2 Draining Shield
x1 Ceasefire (more for stopping flip effects than burn damage)
x1 Divine Wrath
x2 Dust Tornado

(tried to keep Traps to a min. because of Jinzo)
