Kali glanced outside and then at her damp clothes. She must have been too tired to notice the rain, but now she was awake and the only thing standing in her way, to help, was the weather. She smiled and waved at Kaname. "Yes, I might like some coffee," Kali said and took a seat. She didn't normally drink coffee but she normally didn't have nightmares or a full day ahead of her, if the rain let up.

"Good morning, Shiori," Kali greeted, rather quietly. "Well, if there is any way I can help..." Shiori picked up her phone and left the room. She eyed Brute who seemed to be studying her. "Hey, boy," she murmured, in dire need of a dose of caffeine. When Shiori came back and announced that she had news of both kinds, Kali didn't answer. She would rather have the bad news first, depending on the good news. It was always good to seem optimistic and good news second usually did the trick.

Rin thanked Kaname for his headache was almost gone. He readied his coffe and then took a sip. He tilted his head up showing his hagard face. It look like he did not sleep and it was obvious he hadn't shower or shaved yet, since he had a stubble and the same clothes he had on yesterday. He put his chair down on all fours and then spoke. "With that damned plane last night destroying half the town and almost killing me last, things couldn't get any worse for me unless my house is totalled. I would like to hear this news. Bad first that way the good might cheer everyone up." Not many knew of Rin's bad temper. He was usually a nice calm guy and everyone but Alexander thought he was always like that and would never curse any thing. "Kaname, did you bring my leather jacket with you today? I really need my cigarette's after last night and they were in my lacket."

Alexander helped Kaname with cleaning up and getting food going. He hated that he didn't know what was going on, but Shiori was the towns police officer so she could handle things. Still it bothered him that he could not figure out what was wrong. Pouring himself a cup of coffee, Alex drank from it to try and relax.

When Shiori came back Alex wanted nothing more than good news. But the bad news took precedent."Let's go with the bad news first, shall we?" He drank more from his coffee, still trying to calm his nerves.

Madison arrived at the cafe and saw Kali there. Just the chick she wanted to see. Madison dismounted and Lassie followed her inside. Madison giggled when Brute raised his head when Lassie walked in. That boy was a hopeless romantic pooch when it came to Lassie. The Collie wanted nothing to do with the German Shepard. Lassie sat on her haunches by the door like she normally did when they came here. "Kali! Oh thank goodness you are here. I could really use your help with my chicken coop." Madison sat at the counter as Kaname brought her some tea. So what's up?"

Kaname handed Kali her cup of coffee and turned to Rin. "I left my house in a hurry, so I left your jacket there. When I get a chance, I will run home and get it." Kaname saw Madison walk in and started the water for her tea. After a few moments, Kaname brought Madison her tea. "Shiori is about to tell us some news"

Shiori thought about the news for a moment. "Well now that I think about it, it's just all bad news. No plane was found and 30 have just requested a change of address outside of the valley....including our own Goh. Alex can I talk to you? Alone." Shiori had the look of concern on her face. "Brute, don't leave Kaname's sight." Brute nodded.

Kali Zane

Kali turned around to see Madison walk in. Lassie sat at the door, ever a loyal and patient dog. Kali smiled and nodded. "I'd be happy to help, Madison," she said as cheerful as her tired brain could muster. Kaname handed her a cup of coffee and Kali began to drink it. "As soon as I take a dose of caffiene I'll be out there."

Kali drank her coffee, but tried not to drink it too fast. She wanted to hear Shiori's news. She was right, it was all bad. Thirty people decided that they wanted to leave the valley. That was bad news for everyone.

Kali frowned at the news. "Thanks for the coffee, Kaname," she said with a smile that was starting to wake up with the rest of her. She left her payment on the counter and decided to make herself useful in the town. "I'm going to run by the shop and get some supplies for your chicken coop, Madison, then I'll be right over."

With a sigh Rin told Kaname that it was alright and then got quiet with everyone as the news was spoked. Once heard, he stayed silent for a long momment as others talked slowly clentching his fist into a tight ball. Then he jumped up knocking over his chair in shock at the news. "What?! The plane didn't even crash, just flew low enough to destroy our town! That is unforgivable and why is everyone leaving? Goh's note said he was just going to get supplies in the city." Rin slammed his hands of the table at the end of his short rant. His head was blowed with his hair coving his face. A moment of silence settled over the shop. Without a word he grabbed his hat, placing it upon his head, and then placed the money on the table for the coffee. He then walked over to the counter and slid his hand on the under railing of the servers side, grabbing a pack of cigarettes he hid for when he ran out. While everyone remained silent and watched this slouching upset man, he walked to the door and opened it, stopping in the frame. "If anyone needs me I will be at the Scarlet Moon." After saying that with his back turned, he slummed away closing the door behind him. How could Goh leave?

Alexander and the others listened to the news, none really wanting to hear it. Rin stormed off the moment he heard about Goh leaving and he couldn't be blamed. Goh was a good man. After cleaning up Rin's table, Alex agreed to listen to Shiori outside. "We will be right back everyone. Lets talk outside Shiori." He threw his jacket over his shoulders and walked out to listen to whatever news she had.

Madison was stunned. She would never think of leaving the valley, even if her home was destroyed. "Kali, I have the materials and tools. Been working on it myself the past week. So we can head over now and work in the rain or wait until it is sunny and then work on it." Madison smiled at Kali. It was easy to forget that it was raining outside because it wasn't pouring like it normally does.

Kaname watched helplessly as Rin stormed out. She knew that Goh and Rin were good friends and it must have hurt that Goh had to lie to Rin that way. She took Rin's payment from Alex and grabbed Kali's off the counter. Kaname knew part of Rin's outburst is the nicotine withdraw he was experiencing and the pain of being lied to. Kaname watched in sadness as Rin walked towards his bar. She would wait for Alex to come back in and then she would see if she could go comfort him.

Shiori followed Alex outside. "Something has been bothering me since I got the news that 30 people were leaving. People wouldn't be leaving that quick unless it has happened before. And Goh's departure is for a different reason which Rin never gave me a chance to say. He had to go back home. Something with his father or something of the like." Shiori was thinking she never recalled anything like this before. She had only been in the valley for a year and a half now. "Can you think of anyone who would make a plane fly so low to cause a small earthquake in the valley?" Shiori started thinking.

I cannot believe he is gone. Why did Goh leave the note if he was leaving town. Something isn't right. First a plane almost destroys the town and nearly kill me, Necro, and Arcia. Then Goh leaves a note at his shop, yet tells Chidori that he is leaving town. Something just is not right. Lost in thought, Rin slummed his way back to the bar. His head was low in sorrow and deep thought as smoke trailed from under his hat. He arrived at the Scralet Moon finding, Arcia sitting by the do next to...... "Baskz!" The old dog looked up to Rin then returned to lay down and rest. The old dog semed like he only had a few years left on him but, the excitement of seeing Baskz made him think Goh was inside. He flung the door open to find his empty bar. Rin let out a pained sigh and walked inside, Arcia and Baskz followed. After sitting at the bar, Rin noticed a note tucked into the old dogs colar. "Is that note for me Baskz?" The old hound barked tiredly. Rin smiled softlyand took the note. Rin started to smie softly as he read. Then tears fell onto the note. Arcia and Baskz sat watching Rin with saddend eyes.

Kali watched Rin storm out. She wondered what was up with him, but she decided not to ask. Although she had lived in the valley for a while, she was just starting to come out of her shell. She used to learn about people when her uncle was around. He loved to talk.

Kali smiled at Madison when she was stopped from going out the door. "It's been needing repairs for over a week," Kali gawked. Her mind swam when she thought about the poor chickens and how the rain may have flooded the coop, depending on the shape it was in. Or, Madison could have lost chickens, which wouldn't be good either. The chickens could get sick in the weather...

Kali had already decided that she wouldn't wait. "I can start working on it right away," she said. "Wouldn't want the chickens getting sick in this weather."

Madison shrugged. "The chickens have been in the other coop, but it is up to you." Madison walked out with Kali. "I'll meet you at the farm. I'll even make us dinner when we are done." Madison smiled.
