Rin smiled his sly smiled. It was an obvious sign that he thought he a real smooth plan. "I can tell you we are going to Goh's horse for you to ride with a saddle I had him specially make for you and Fido." He started to walk towards Goh's Smith Shop leading Necro. Ever few minutes Rin ashed his cigarette and he decided that he should get to know Kaname more. "So, Nami. Why did you move to the vally any way? Was the city not in your favor?"

Kaname walked with Rin. "Don't get me wrong, city life was great, but I wanted to break out on my own. So me and my cousin Shiori moved out here to forge our own lives." Kaname smiled and Fido yapped. "After a month, my aunt sent me a puppy and that is how I got Fido here." She smiled again.

"Ah, I see, but don't you ever miss it there? I mean I was born into this calm valley. The city to me is a night of fun or a waste of time. To you it should still be your home. I mean you only moved here a few years back." Rin opened a side pouch on Necro's saddle and pulled out a small metal box. He opened it and placed his cigarette but in it letting it be smother out by the sealed container. Then he replaced it in the pouch and closed it. Goh's shop was now in view and the dark clouds that hung over the mountians where getting closer. Rin smirked hoping Goh was here. He needed Goh's horse Rin gave him, and the saddle before the rain starts. It was not a long ride to the Crystal Rose Cave. A secret place that only him and Alexander knew of. At sunset the waterfall hiding the cave and the jewels inside it glistened with dazzling beauty. A sight he wanted to share with Kaname. "Oh, by the way when we get close to were I wish to take you, you have to close your eyes for the place is sacred to me and Alexander."

Goh turned on his side, unaware of the rain approaching, he wasnt the heaviest sleeper, but he could sleep. He remembered scribbling a note to tac to his shop door for Rin about the horse being behind the shop in the shed and that he should know where the key was. He turned over once more, laying his head onto Baskz who only licked his head before settling back down. Goh curled up, looking more like the 19 year old he was, then how he wanted to be seen as an older guy.

Alexander, in all his time cleaning, forgot that Madison was coming over, even though it was basically his idea. He set aside his cleanings equipment and opened the door with his casual smile. "What's up buttercup!" he said leaning against his door while pushing his glasses up. He invited her inside with a way, noticing that it was cold. He didn't have a working heater so she would have to deal with it. In his hand was another slice of Kaname's cheesecake that he had taken home.

Madison walked in. "Hey. So, what did you want to do?" Madison wasn't that cold yet, but she would eventually be. Madison placed the umbrella by the door and noticed the cheesecake in Alex's hand. "Is that Kaname's famous cheesecake?" Madison has been secretly trying to find Alex a space heater for his house. She wanted to give him one for his birthday coming up."

Kaname nodded. "Yeah, but this is also home too. You know getting away from the rich life is like eating something fresh off the vine. It's refreshing. I was born into a rich family. My father was a successful business man that worked his way up the ranks and eventually started his own business. He now runs Chidori Industries, the famous appliance manufacture in Japan. He had been running that for 5 years before I was born." Kaname didn't care if Rin made fun of her from running away from the city life. The valley was her home now and it felt like it.

He smiled at the wise way she spoke about her past. He could tell that it meant she ran away from her problems with her past. He didn't care what her past held because she was now here with him. He could only smile at her for a moment before speaking. "Truly wise words. You are right. Getting away from one life to began your own is like taking your first bite of fruit from the vine. Thought bitter at first, you will learn which fruits are sweeter than others. Ah, we are here. What? Where is that slacker?" Rin saw that all the lights were off and his forge was dim. Rin sighed as he walked over to the front of the shop. He knocked on the door. No answer. He rubbed his head and looked down. On the ground he found a note left for him that had fallen of the door. He read the note and handed it to Kaname. "Guess, he is out on a delivery and not slacking off like I thought. Wait her with Necro. I am going to get what we came her for."

Rin walked around to the side of the house where Goh chopped firewood. The ax was quiet large for Goh, but he balanced it perfectly. Rin picked up the ax placing the top onto the ground as he twisted the bottom to reveal a small compartment. Rin took the key out and placed the ax in the stump Goh chopped on. Rin walked to the horse shack the young blacksmith made for the gift Rin gave him. He smiled seeing the pure white stallion with its golden mane look at him with bright eyes. She neighed at him to let her come and play. He quickly unlocked the gate that held her then led her to out to see is the saddle he requested for Kaname was there. He didn't see it. With a sigh, he led the horse up to the back of his shop. He beckoned for for her to wait were she was witch she replied with a bow of her head. Rin unlocked the back door and walked in. Luckily the saddle was finished resting on the work bench. It seemed he just finished the polish on the smooth brown leather. He placed the saddle on his shoulder and returned to the waiting horse. Next he replaced the key and sealed it back. Next he led the horse up to the front. Necro grew over joyed to see his friend. The two horses hugged necks as I made introductions.

"Nami, meet Necro's other half. Her name is Eve. Now Eve hold still so I can ready Nami's saddle." The horse didn't seem to notice him with her embrace with Nerco. Rin smiled and rolled his eyes. He placed the saddle on her back and strapped it in. On the saddle was a small leather basket for Fido. He then looked to the sky. The clouds were far enough that the could ride to the cave before it reached the valley.

Goh shivered slightly as the water began rising, soaking his leg cuffs, He turned over slightly and went back to sleep. He was having a horrible dream but he was to tired and his muscled ached to wake up. Baskz whined softly, licking Gohs head to wake him up. He was trained not to wake Goh unless there was an intruder. The old bloodhound felt the wind change and the temperature drop but didn't know how to respond. Goh waved his face away as Baskz began licking him again.
"Come off it dog." he said sleepily Goh opened his eyes only to be splashed by the wave. He sat up spluttering and grabbing Baskz by the collar so he is swiped away. "Crud!" As he spit water from his mouth. He quickly picked up Baskz and the crate and stepped away from the rising water and began walking again. "Geez..... I guess we should take these to Maddi huh?... Sorry I fell asleep on ya boy." Goh softly petting the dog after setting him down and begand walking, soaking and cold, but well ok. He still needed to go talk to Shiori about the pocketwatch he was making for Alex's Birthday.

Shiori walked out the front door with an envelope in her hand. She spotted Goh. "Oh, Goh. Come inside. You are soaking wet!" Shiori opened the door for him into the warm police headquarters. "Amber, can you go get some sweats for Goh. Get Mark's size. Those should fit him." Shiori told Amber, the receptionist. She went off and came back moments later with some sweats. She took the sweats and handed them to Goh. "Goh, go change into these before you catch a cold." She walked him to the bathrooms. Brute is staring down Baskiz.

Kaname rubbed Eve's head. "Hey. I'm Kaname girl." Fido yipped. She picked up Fido. "And this is Fido." She walked back to see what Rin was doing. "So....this saddle is very pretty."

Rin looked back to Kaname. He blushed slightly, though he could feel it, it was not really noticeable. "Well I kind of made it myself. The design I mean. If you look at the side there is a rose gilded into the leather. The original design was a white leather, but Goh couldn't find any." Rin smiled and rubbed his head. He was making it obvious that he has been planning to take her out for a while. "Well, we should move on to our destination. Eve?" Eve bowed her head to Rin before sitting on the ground. Rin reached out with his hand to Kaname with his charming smile. "My lady, you steed awaits."

Between nodding, Alexander bit into the cheesecake. "Yes it is. There is some left if you want any." He swallowed, laughing to himself quietly. "I didn't really think of anything. I was so focused on cleaning everything that I forgot to come up with something. I don't believe Rin opens up until later so we just have to kill time until then. What did you want to do?" He was bad at making plans, always being indecisive.

Madison nodded her head in response of wanting some cheesecake. "We could just hang out here until Rin opens up. Then we can go have dinner." Madison walked in further into the house so he could close the door. She looked around. She had only been here once before, and that was to deliver some eggs to his house. "So how have you been? I haven't really been off the farm since the bull knocked down the coop."

Kaname blushed when she realized that Rin has been wanting to take her out. The blush went away when Eve sat down. "I know how to mount a horse. I am not a newbie at riding horses. My uncle owns a riding ranch." Kaname walked over to Eve and helped her back to her feet before mounting her properly.

Rin smiled and lightly laughed before talking. "Eve is a graceful horse who sits respectfully so one can mount her with ease. I was not insulting your riding skill nor forcing Eve do sit." Rin picked up Fido and placed him in the small leather basket built into the saddle. Then he mounted Necro swiftly and with ease. "When we get close I want you to put on a blind fold. The place is a secret and I want it to be a surprise. Now lets go before we get there too late." Rin reared Necro and headed towards the small forest the surrounds the river behind the police office.

Alexander closed the door behind Madison and smiled. His house was a single story one person home. The furniture was simple, he had no pets, he lived alone in his home and that is all he had enough for. "Sorry if my house is small. I just don't need much." He was always that way. Simplicity was one of those traits he had that was fairly noticeable.
