More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Annie shook her head at Alexavier's reactions and thought something along the lines of if he tries to do anything out of line I will kill him. And, acknowledged she was working on building a new promiscuous reputation at Valhalla, well, at least it would give her a good excuse again in the future. Turning down the hall she continued walking until she stopped at a storage closet and leaned against the wall arms crossed. She nodded towards the closet and said, "Care to join me?"


"Leaving Valhalla doesn't seem like a reasonable option," Christian snorted to Cassandra's response before he addressed Damien's words, "Exactly whom do you classify as father anyways? If it is Alexavier, I'm sure he's told my mother by now, and she isn't the type to just sit around and not investigate. Besides leaving Valhalla would just make us targets for Daedalus."

Gidget's reply made Ako pause for a moment, still not used to being called things like that. That, combined with the sound of her voice, made him forget what he was about to say. Their was a pause before he could speak. "Hey, just wondering where you are." He was normally a man of few words, but his mind felt more tired than usual, and he was having trouble finding the point of his call in the fog of his thoughts. He felt the breeze of someone passing by, but didn't bother to look. "I think... I need to talk with you."

"Well, there aren't many ways she could have gone." Deora said, glancing both ways down the hall. "Maybe we should split?"

It was a tone that Liv was very familiar with. But that voice? It almost sounded like Heather. Sure she's only known her for a week or so but she was never like this. Liv decided to just respond normally when she turned around.

"Oh hey Heathe-" Liv was cut short at the sight of her. This wasn't anything like the Heather she remembered! What happened to the lizard girl? This was more like a dragon girl! Needless to say she was very surprised.

"Heather? But wha? How did? What happened?!" Liv asked curious. She had to admit that her new form was...well..rather hot. If you ignored the claws. Which she did at the moment.

Heather smiled slyly. She sauntered over to the bewildered Liv and giggled. "Do you like it? I've evolved. Become complete."

Heather's eyes danced over Liv's body. She was able to perceive the aura of light that surrounded the young blonde. It made her all the more desirable to the dragoness'.

"I can see your light. To call it breathtaking would be an insult."

Gidget's reply made Ako pause for a moment, still not used to being called things like that. That, combined with the sound of her voice, made him forget what he was about to say. Their was a pause before he could speak. "Hey, just wondering where you are." Gidget's smile melted. Ako sounded troubled, and that didn't settle well with her. "Is everything okay? Where are you now? Can you meet me at the lab?" she asked in rapid succession. She wanted to fix this like any of her other toys, but this was more important because it was a person. Her favorite person no less.

Her phone buzzed with the alert from Richards. She ignored it, her concern for Ako overriding any sort of curiosity.

"Well, there aren't many ways she could have gone." Deora said, glancing both ways down the hall. "Maybe we should split?"

Larry was about to agree when he felt his pager buzz. His giant hands couldn't hold a phone, so the pager was given to him so he could ask Heather what the general alert was for. Luckily he had two friends with him who might be able to help with that.

"My beeper buzzed. Is there an alert?"

Damien had heard the name before, but only in a glimpse. It did not bring about good thoughts. "Who is Daedalus?" he asked Christian.

Christian let out a sigh, "Daedalus... um, they're kind of hard to explain. But, basically they round up meta-humans and do experiments and stuff. I don't know... I was born because of them. My father was a scientist for them. My mom willingly turned herself into them years ago hoping they could find a way to keep others safe from her power... they aren't good guys. Not for us, at least."

"Uh, hell yeah I like it. You look amazing girl." Liv replied Something really has changed about Heather and it wasn't just her looks. Now she really was coming on to her. But what she said next slightly confused her.

"Thanks but.. my...light? You mean my ability?"

"Why, I thought you'd never ask." Alexavier replied, adjusting his tie and entered the closet.

You know if you want to talk in private we could also just have talked like this/ Alexavier spoke to her mind.

Cassandra also spoke up to answer her boy's question. "They separated your father and I when we were one. They could run their tests on us. Too dangerous they said. They are responsible for what eventually led to this moment. To you. Shane was one of their experiments as well."

Annie followed him into the closet and shut the door behind her and sighed, "I don't like people probing around my brain, even just to hold a private conversation. Besides, there are advantages of having a questionable reputation. I can pull the stunt again, if I want. And this can easily buy both of us a solid hour or two excuse. Or more... it depends."

She leaned against the door and changed the subject to the topics bothering her, "Anyways, we have someone in charge who is getting too big of a head and wants Trinity out of the way. I would assume includes her boy toy, Theonis... which is kind of comical since he is one of the few people who has successfully incapacitated me for any time period. But, I'm also guessing we have something else unrelated going on that you are sensing."

"There's essentially nowhere in this facility I can't reach by turning into liquid," she continued, tapping a finger on her crossed arms, "but I'm wondering what should be my priority. And, in some ways you wouldn't be that much help, either way: you don't have the flexibility and freedom of travel my power grants me."

"Oh I have a very different freedom than you think. I am a very suspicious character. I can walk around wherever I want and people won't ask anything. Since I won't let them. In fact they will help me get to where I need to be. Or I can just tell you who it is right now. I mean I can just kill the guy from here." Alexavier replied casually.

"Is your solution to every people problem is just to kill the person? I mean, I suppose that would solve that particular problem but..." She trailed off and narrowed her eyes at him, "No! Just, no." She leaned her head against the door and sighed, "Anyways, an egotistical moron is rarely a huge problem. It is probably something more for Trinity to worry about if she wanted to... though, all things considered, I think she bailed on Valhalla. I can't imagine her putting up with this otherwise." Annie considered briefly bailing herself, though she brushed the thought aside for the moment.

"And, while you may be able to walk around freely, you are limited by size," continued Annie. "If a single water droplet can get through, I can get through. You can't pull that off. I suppose I'll ignore the new head of security for now, who no doubt is the source of one of the problems, and worry about what you sensed earlier."

"Seal? Wait, what seal are we talking about here?" Theonis asked.

As her sensei mentioned the seal she remembered what he told her. She remembered that she had just learned about her power the day before Teshou had to rescue her from Leviathan. She remembered what he told her the seal was how they were able to use their power. Unlike Trinity they didn't gain their power the same way, not exactly. They are able to manipulate shadows because of a curse that was carried on from their father she also remembered her sensei saying that what he was going to reveal does not leave the room they were in and she kept to that promise.

Since this was Freya's seal that Teshou mentioned she remembered something else that Freya had shared with her that same day. "The seal on Freya's neck... that was to keep the Shin-Okami sealed. They've unleashed the beast?! Why would they? It can't be controlled without the seal." Trinity started to worry about all the possibilities this could lead to.

It took Ako another few seconds to work out what Gidget had said, and to figure out how to answer. "I'm fine, at least I think so. I'm in the gym, training...thing. And, yeah, I'll uh,... I'll see you there." He started walking, unsure of whether or not to hang up.

He felt slower, clumsy, like the synapses firing in his brain and nervous system were slower. The phone felt dead in his hand, where it would normally be alive to his senses, the circuits pulsing with power. Now, it just felt like a lump of plastic, the same way it did before he got his power. Had he overdone it? Had he finally burned himself out, like he'd hoped to do so many years ago, before he lost track of his friends?

The thought that he might have lost even a fraction of his power scared him immensely.

Deora pulled out her own phone as it buzzed and gave a chirp. Here eyes scanned the message, and her brow furrowed in confusion and worry. "This can't be right. It says Trinity is working against Valhalla." The quick temper she worked hard to control showed itself a bit as her accent thickened. "This is loco, she's the one who saved me! Who wrote this? Who's this Richards idiot?"
