Lily groaned after waiting ten minutes for her 'help' to come. Her mind was blank, she couldn't see anything anymore, which only added to her worry. She knew something was going on with Trinity, that was the voice she heard, but the face... The face was Gidget..
The brunettes fingers found her mouth, her teeth quickly ripping at her nails, a bad habit, much like smoking. Quickly, she pulled her fingers out of her mouth, cursing herself for showing the vulnerability. Then she looked at the purple haired man, these folks seemed to follow her wherever she went. First there was Ako, simple conversation in the early morning. She never asked for him to show her his ability, but he did! Then she met his friend, Annie, the girl who had the ability to turn liquid into acid, a force to be reckoned with. And now, now him.
Lily sat on the curb, her hands in her head. "All I was trying to do was make a few friends! Jesus Christ I didn't ask for all this bullshit!" she screamed into the open nights air. now she had a worried mind, worried about the small face of her vision, the bubbly girl she met in the cyber suit. Gidget. And the purple haired trouble teen, Trinity. She sighed, falling backwards onto the ground, unaware of the coming help. The team that Shane had sent to retain herself and Alabaster.

Teshoumaru smiles admirably at her. He glancing at the slow visage of Leviathan tearing at something he will not be able to penetrate without having a bond to a creature of the shadow. No matter, once he and Trinity were away the door would close, and the large man would only be tearing at concrete. He looks back at Trinity and says, "Now I show you how to travel the shadow realm. Then later I will teach you. What you have been doing up till now has been random shadow sliding. Which can come in handy in a pinch, but this is more accurate. By visibly traveling the shadow realm, you can travel very quickly to places you have already been, or to something within your immediate area. Since you do not know the location of Valhalla, I will take us there."
He gently takes her hand in his and concentrates on the facility. The neighborhood that Trinity grew up in bends and twists, leaving the danger behind. A moment later everything comes back into focus. They are still within the shadow realm, but they are in what seem to be a small motel room. Before them lies a another pool of light, being created by a drawn shower curtain in the bathtub. Teshoumaru looks down at her and smiles, "We are in one of the facility's rooms; mine to be more precise. Before you lays the door. All you need to do is walk through it, then you will be back on solid ground."
Still holding her hand he steps through the white pool, taking her though it with him. He draws the curtain back and steps onto the linoleum floor, assisting her out of the tub. He reaches into his coat and pulls out a cellular phone. He offers it to her. "Here, you may call your mother using my phone. I will make the necessary arrangements to ensure she gets here safely."

It isn't long after Lily gives up on herself that they recovery crew arrives. They are dressed like paramedics and EMTs. Two of them run to the boy with the purple hair, the third runs to Lily's side. "Ms. Stinson, Lily Stinson can you hear me?"

Lily looks up at the EMT with wide eyes, it was apparent the girl had been crying, she looked distressed and worried, but other then that... She seemed alright. The girl let a sigh pass her lips as she looked up at the man, a small smile creased her lips.
"I can hear you just fine, sir." she said a bit in a low tone. Looking back over to the purple haired man, then her conscience remembered the gun fire, something had happened in that park, EMT's where here, so she had to let them know.. That was the right thing to do, right?
"Before he.. passed out.. I heard gun shots at the park over there" Lily pointed. "I only saw Alabaster come out of the park, then he passed out... I don't know what happened, he told me to run, which I did." she sighed, glad to get all that out and off her chest. Then, she looked up at the stars again, sighing. She knew that if Annie had gotten wind of this, she was going to get a ear full. Only, none of this was Lilies fault. She didn't ask to meet another meta-human. She was doing what Annie had told her to do! Get lost! Looks like that was going to be harder then it seemed.

Annie sighed, of course Mr. Cortez wouldn't give up Trinity so easily, luckily though Teshoumaru was able to get her away just before he struck. As she watched Lev she felt as if someone was watching her, and she turned her gaze and met Blitz's eyes. Her brown eyes narrowed at him and she smirked.
Casually she added, perhaps to Mr. Cortez as she did address him, and perhaps to no one in particular, "Mr. Cortez, you have some serious anger management issues..."
Muttering under her breath she added, "And he sucks at negotiations." Smirking she glanced at Blitz, touched his arm lightly and hissed, "Well, I think I'll be taking my leave. There isn't much I can do right now..."
Silently, she added in her head, 'especially considering the fact that I am about to start coughing up blood in a minute... I can already taste it.'

Trinity paid close attention as he shadow traveled, or as he calls it shadow slide. They were in front of a door to the real world which was a solid doorway of light. Was this how she managed to get her mom to the hospital? They step into the bathroom and was surprised that they stepped out of a shadow that was caused by a shower curtain. Then a second thought occured whos bathroom is this and what if they find out we're here? I know I'd be desturbed if two random people showed up my bathroom that I didn't invite nor let come in to begin with... she was relieved of this thought when he pointed out that it was his bathroom.
He hands her his cell phone. She originally was going to use her pre-paid phone but she looks at it and it was totally fried, perhaps because she was with Lev. She put hers away and dials her mom'e cell phone.
The phone rings on her mother's lap as she finished her cup of water. She didn't recognize the number that appeared but hoped it wasn't more bad news. She answers the phone:
"Hello?"
"Hi mom, it's me." she smiles as she was relieved to hear her voice.
Mrs. Smith stood up at the sound of her voice,"Trinity! Thank God! Is everything alright?! Did he hurt you?! Where are you!?"
"Mom, I'm fine. Some people rescued me , I'm at the meta-human facility, the one that we were heading to earlier. They are going to pick you up in the hospital and bring you here where you'll be safe ."
"They know where I am right?"
"Yeah, I told them, hang tight."
"Will do."
"Bye mom, I love you."
"Bye dear, I love you too" Mrs. Smith decided to go to the bathroom to wash her face and clean herself up a bit to at least look a little more presentable. Luckily she still hand her purse with her.
After Trinity hangs up the phone she looks to its owner and approaches him to return it, "You know my name, but I still don't know yours."

"I am?" Tansy asked as she tugged off one of the wrist straps and pulled at the next one off. "Is something wrong?" She frowned somewhat as she pulled the needle out of her arm and winced. "Ow, ow ow..." She sighed as she Slowly moved out of the bed and stood.

As Tansy stood, Ako averted his eyes from her hospital gown, setting the clothes on the bed as he stared at a spot on the ceiling. "Yeah. Unless you wanna break one of the windows, they won't open. That only leaves to door. I'm pretty sure we can get out without trouble if you can hide your wings, though. Everyone will just think we were visiting."

While Trinity calls her mother and cleans up, Teshoumaru makes a call to the head of the recovery unit. It is a brief conversation, strictly business. He really wouldn't have it any other way. Although he and his sister are twins, they are almost complete polar opposites when it comes to their personality. Freya runs on emotions, Teshoumaru on brains. Freya prefers her freedom, Teshomaru prefers control. This was going to be new though, being a teacher. He isn't certain what sort of link she has to the shadow realm and it's denizens, but that really doesn't matter. He wasn't going to waste an opportunity to redeem himself, and to help this child protect herself and her family.
He hangs up the phone just as Trinity hands him his cellular phone. He laughs softly, finding it ironic to be corrected on proper etiquette for introductions. "My apologies, There wasn't much time for proper introductions. I am Teshoumaru Soichi. My sister, Freya, is an acquaintance to a friend of yours. Your friend contacted Freya, but she is too far away to have been able to help. The shadow realm can only take you so far. So she, in turn, contacted me to act in her stead."

The medics secure Alabaster to the stretcher and take it to the ambulance. After making sure it's locked in place, they climb into the box. The EMT with Lily places a hand to her forehead, "You're running a fever, and you look pale. I think maybe you should come with us so we can look you over."

"Quite forgivable under the circumstances" she says with a grin, "So, Mr. Soichi, you say the shadow realm can only take you so far, this, this doesn't make sense to me. How can you be bounded in a realm that seams to have no bounds?" She looks to him awaiting for an answer something in her knew that was absolutely wrong. Yet she kept it inside, it seemed like it was from a source that had shadow traveled a lot. Yet Trinity first used it yesterday. She felt that this was happening fast but also felt that it had to happen so she could learn to use it.

Mrs. Smith finished putting her make up on and went back to the waiting room, to wait for the people Trinity said would come by and pick her up and take her to the facility.

The tone he uses is serious, but laced with a hint of humor, "First, I ask that you address me as Sensei. It means teacher in the Japanese language. In turn I think I will call you...Kage-chan. It means little shadow. Yes, I believe that is fitting."
He takes a few steps away from Trinity and holds his hand out palm down. His shadow stretches and raises from the ground, taking a shape identical to his. "All things in life are enriched by Ki. Meta-humans, and people like us, have a larger amount than most humans. To use our gifts, requires us to expend Ki. Traveling the shadow realm is no exception."
The shadow starts to shrivel and melt back to it's original shape. He says grimly, "Nothing comes without a price Kage-chan. Freya could not travel the shadow realm to our location because it would have weakened her immensely. She knew something of the beast Leviathan, and understood that she would not be able to kill him without being at full strength. Even myself, with the short distance we just traveled, can estimate that I have expended nearly ten percent of my Ki. You though...I believe you can surpass us."
He lowers his hand and asks her, "Your power does not come from the meteor, not originally at least. Tell me, what do you know about your ancestors?"

Annie would feel a sudden throb, then a pulsing echo run through her mind.
Later..Once I'm away from Cortez we must speak. This voice was psychogenic, telepathic in message and thought..
Blitz raised an eyebrow, giving her a slight push.
Go, before I cannot sway him. Go!
Apparently Blitz was far more then met the eye..

Blitz turned to Leviathan, striding up to his slumped over superior. Lev still tore at the ground, panting, his face screwed up, absolutely in fits over the loss of his former prey. "I never lose..Never lose Blitz." Blitz patted Lev on the back, Rod coming up, touching the other shoulder. Lev looked to the two, his hair drooping, his eyes softening into something almost human.
"We won't lose." Rod clicked his tongue, making a thick iron clang resound from his throat. Lev looked onward at Annie..
"I will take chase?" Blitz offered.
This took Lev a little off guard, even set his eyes to slit, but he wafted his hand forward. "Don't die." Lev spun away in a swift gait, Rod at his back, galloping upon all fours, always obedient..
Blitz looked onward, watching Lev slide the corner.
His brown eyes glared off in the direction Annie had gone to.
Where are you? the thought would cross Annie's mind, a snap of speech.

Trinity wasn't certain about the nick name at first but she accepted it. She observes how his shadow shaping up like his. She seriously doesn't know as much as her Sensei did. She listened to what he said about Ki energy and that, this is why one could not use shadow travel to go longer distances. This did make sense to her but she got the sense she had not run into this problem before. Then remembered yesterday, how tired she was it seems like she contradicting herself or that something inside was contradicting her.
"Surpass you? How can I? I just learned that I had this ability yesterday I-" shivers went down her back as he asks about her ancestors. Her dad said that she was resembling her ancestor since the meteor hit.
"I know where it exactly comes from. The funny thing is, I used to think it was all just stories... I was named after my ancestor from long ago. She used magic, at least what was thought as magic...she was well known for shadow traveling and manipulation. She fulfilled her destiny, by bringing light into a world of darkness... Kinda ironic considering how she used her shadow powers a lot. I don't know the details but we have books on her at home.
My dad even said that I look like a younger version of her because of my hair and eyes, which became these colors because of the meteor. At the time I thought it was coincidences but now, since the shadow manipulation started happening... it really could be in my DNA..."

A look of confusion crossed Lilie's face, fever, pale? She felt fine, sure a little fatigued, but nothing that would bring on a fever. She looked at the EMT as if the man was crazy, though he was certified in medical, Lily couldn't argue with him, not only that. but she didn't see it right to leave Alabaster with these people, he had no idea who they where, or where he would be taken, she knew that panic would only be a given.
"Under one condition, I get to ride with him." she nodded toward the ambulance that had Alabaster. "Cause let us face it, he doesn't know what is going on, it'll be in his best interest if I am with him. Someone he knows ,it'll keep him calm. " she knew what she was saying was making since. And she wasn't in the mood to argue with this man that she was fine. So, she walked over to the Ambulance and waited for the man to give her the okay, as if it mattered, she was going with Alabaster rather this man let her or not.
SHe hadn't had a vision of Trinity or Gidget since she had talked to Shane, Good, maybe they will be gone for good. she thought to herself as she waited in the small second of time that it took for the EMT to answer. She was ready to get away from this place, ready to be somewhere she knew where she was at, ready to finally be able to relax.

Teshoumaru gives Trinity his full attention as she speaks. He nods in confirmation and says, "It's as I had thought. I believe we may actually come from similar backgrounds. My mother was the last of our ancestors pure line. Hence the reason my ears looks as yours do."
He paces around a bit as he speaks, "My mother once told me the story of Trinity when I was a boy. The young woman who sacrificed everything to protect those she loved. Kage-chan, the reason I believe you can surpass Freya and I is because you are not bound by darkness as we are...as your ancestor was."
With his back turned Teshoumaru takes off his coat and over-shirt. All that remained was a black under-armor tank top. He looks over his shoulder to her. "What I am about to show you must not leave the confines of this room. I am trusting you as your sensei, with the secret of your ancestors power. Of course I could very well be wrong, but I rarely am."
He slides his tank off to reveal a superbly intricate tattoo on his back. It is a combination of many different designs ranging from Japanese to an unrecognizable writing and glyphs. "In our hubris, my sister and I sought to conquer a curse handed down from our father. This only resulted in our becoming tainted by fiends of the shadow. Freya has a similar mark around her neck. This seal contains the fiend within me, and in turn I can manipulate shadows and travel the shadow realm without dying."
He replaces his tank and over-shirt, then turns towards Trinity. "You have inherited your ancestors sacrifice. You are able to control shadows without the taint. This means that you can use your power to it's full potential. If Freya or I were to attempt such a feat, we would lose ourselves to the fiends. It will take time, but I will teach you everything you need to know about your power. Once I have taught you all that I know, it will be up to you to take the last steps to full control. How does that make you feel?"

The EMTs response is just how Lily had predicted. It takes less than fifteen minutes for them to arrive at Valhalla. Moments later they are back in the emergency wing that Trinity woke up in not that long ago. The thread doctor uses his gift to reattach Alabaster's arm. 30 minutes later he walks out of the procedure area and up to Lily.
"He should make a full recovery. He will be awake soon, you can go in and see him once he has been moved to a room if you would like. It shouldn't be but a few minutes."

A small soft groan came from the purple haired man’s lips as his arm came up, his hand falling across his still closed eyes. His head felt as if he’d been in a fight with a world class boxer, his throat burned so bad it was as like what he believed hell to feel like. He knew he’d shifted, he only couldn’t remember it, he always remembered it. “What did you do now Al...” He muttered as his arm fell from his face.
His eyes fluttered open as he looked around the room, wires were attached to his chest which connected to a machine designed to monitor his heart beat. The pale white walls, the smell of antibiotics, he could only groan once more for he knew he was in the hospital. “Darn it all, why the heck am I here?” He questioned himself as he sighed in defeat.
Standing up be began to make his way towards the door. Stopping for a moment he heard voices outside. Someone was telling the other that he’d be awake soon, that they could see him when he was in a room. Who the heck are they? Why do they want to see me? I can’t let them, what if they are some of... Shivering he could only imagine being force to deal with one of Alabaster’s screw ups again. The last time it happened he barely made it out with his life.
Moving into the corner the young purple haired boy drew his knees to his chest, his arms wrapping protectively around them. “I want to go home...” He cried as his forehead touched the tops of his knees. He was scared and alone. Ever since he was a child he hated – more like feared – the hospital. He was forced to rely upon himself to take care of his wounds he couldn’t trust anyone else after all, what if he shifted during the surgery or something? That would prove fatal. “I want to go home.”
