Goh ate some more of the pancakes and noticed Rin come in."Hey Rin! How'd you sleep?He smiled at Rin as he ate the strawberries that fell off the pancakes before getting up and picking up his heavy toolbelt,setting his money on the table.

"Oh, I didn't see you there Goh," Rin said as he flopped down into his chair and leaned it against the wall. He stretched and groaned then answered, "Like the dead. Last night was truly peaceful. Sigh* But, I still ache like no other. My muscles are killing me. Might head to the city in a few days to get a massage, you know.

Kaname ran back to the counter and pulled out a bag from the basket that she brought. "Here Goh. These are some scraps from dinner my last night. Also some cheesecake making scraps are in there too." Kaname smiled brightly to Goh as she handed him the bag. "Work hard today!" Kaname grabbed the money and plate that Goh left and brought the money to the register before taking the plate to the kitchen. She then walked over to Rin's table with a tablet in hand. "Good morning Rin. How are you this morning? What would you like beyond your usual coffee?"

"Ah, I am just very sore as always Kaname. Truth be told the pain is so bad I think I will just have a cup of Snow Geisha White Tea with a hint of mint," he said while ashing his cigarette in the tall metal ashtray he personally brought to the cafe for his table. He then let the smoke slowly drift out of his mouth for a brief moment, then let out a sigh then spoke again. "Enough of my whining, Alexander has heard it for to many years!" Rin laughed lightly for a moment before asking how Kaname was feeling herself.

Alexander shrugged at Shiori, pouring himself a cup of coffee. "Hey if our beloved officer wants to sleep on papers rather than a bed then I say we let her!" He slammed his fist on the table to emphasize his point only to laugh and drink his coffee. Looking over to Rin now, Alex pointed a finger at his old friend. "You sir! It will not be sleepless nights or an aching body that kills you. It will be those damned cigarettes. Smoking up my cafe... I oughtta" he trailed off into a smile before catering to everyone's needs to help out Kaname. Whether is was taking plates or even refilling coffee. He also prepped Shiori's meal when he could, sipping his coffee or even taking a bite out of cheesecake. Goh was getting ready to open up shop so Alex also gave him a cup of coffee to go, wishing him a fabulous day.

Rin burst into laughter. No matter how much Rin complained, he looked forward to seeing Alexander. He always seemed to brighten his day. Rin exhaled one last time before putting out his cigarette and called over to his old friend. "Alexander you always brighten others lives. Remember that old friend. Now what animal do you have back there ready to be eaten?" Rin burst into laughter again. He seemed to be having so much fun that his muscle pain wasn't very noticeable. Funny how Rin could be distracted from even his own aching body. It didn't even bother him any more.

Goh smiled as he took the bag from Kaname."Thanks girly, I'll make sure to give him, I'll make sure to stop by for lunch if im not to busy. I have alot of orders coming in for some reason."Goh shrugged and took the coffee from Alex and chuckled at Rin"Rin you only notice me if I cause trouble, Thanks for the coffee Alex."Goh started walking out the door, waving at everyone as he made his way to his shop, whistling shrilly for Baskz. He was surprised to see the old bloodhound already waiting by the locked door. Goh shook his head."Jeez Baskz, you like her food wayy to much."Goh laughed as he saw the dog wag his tail and starting unlocking the doors to his shop, The Dark Horseman.

Kaname smiled at Rin and then went to go make his tea. She put some bacon on for Rin and some eggs. All while Fido went over to Rin and jumped on a chair close to him and wagged his tail. He listened to Alex and Rin go back and forth and nearly fell off the chair when Alex banged on the counter talking to Shiori. Kaname finished some eggs and bacon just in time for the hot water to be poured to make Rin's tea.. She flipped her cousin's pancakes while Alex was tending to his own coffee. She plated Rin's and took it out to him after his tea seeped for a moment. "Shii-kun's is ready Alex." She called up to Alex. She walked over to the counter to get salt and pepper to bring it over to Rin. She poured some water into a bowl for Brute so Alex could take it to Shiori's table when he took her the meal.

Shiori couldn't help but laugh again. Alex did seemed to make her do that sometimes. Shiori looked back to Rin after he finally put out his cigarette. That man always seemed to be smoking. It didn't bother her much but she was more worried that it could mess with Brute's senses. "Good morning Rin." Shiori spoke to the man lounging in a corner.

Goh causally slipped the apron and heavy gloves on as he began lighting the kindled fires. He wasnt really in the mood to make what was asked of him, but he needed to get it done. He enjoyed spending time with everyone, but things seem to always pull him from the group."hmm.. wonder if Kanama has that cheesecake she said she brought..."Goh frowned, his brown knitted together. He completely forgot to ask. now he might miss out on it.
"Crap.... I guess I could always get some later...
Goh began sweating as the fire and heat intensified in the shop as he began working on the cups, swords and knives that were ordered.

Alex went into the kitchen when Kaname called. He came back moments later with Shiori's food which he put right in front of her. "Breakfast reporting ma'am! I am ready to be eaten!" Alex enjoyed these people, his friends. Looking over at Rin, he pulled out a big knife from a drawer, smiling. "What is it you want slaughtered for your meal good sir? In all truth, Alex could never kill an animal, it just wasn't in him to do it.

Goh set the metals in the cold water to set and pulled out the machine he'd been tinkering with. He knew it was Alex's birthday soon and he wanted to give him this golden watch as a joke. He chucked to himself as he fiddled with the gears and springs."Hopefully he likes it. Although, it might not be his style...hmmm wonder what he would want etched on to it.. Ill ask police gurl later."Goh chuckled again at his nickname for Shiori, He usually wanted to mess with her, but she was so proper, he felt like (since him being raised with 9 other siblings, basically in a barn) Wasnt his place to mess with her.

Shiori smiled as Alex brought her breakfast. She thanked him and placed the bowl of water on the floor so Brute could drink it. Brute always got breakfast at the headquarters. She pulled out a file that she was reviewing and read it as she ate. Alex always made good food. And these pancakes were no different. She finished her breakfast and then finished her coffee. "Alex my friend, you have out done yourself once more. I'll take a coffee to-go." Shiori stood and put her paper back in it's holder and walked over to the counter dropping off her plate and mug. She pulled out the money and waited there for her coffee to-go. Brute looked around when he finished his water and then padded to the door. The German Shepard was a smart cookie. Smarter than most, some say.

Rin laughed at Alexander and then calmed down once Kaname, brought him his food and tea. He flopped the chair forward on of its legs, and then with a wink to Kaname, he thanked her. Rin salted his food then put a little pepper on his eggs before taking a tip of his hot tea. The tea was perfectly crafted as all Rin's tea request were. Then mint complemented the soft flavors, instead of over powering it with its dominant taste. He smiled again to Kaname. He didn't think she knew or not, of his slight attraction to her. But, he made sure one thing. She always made his tea for him when he wanted it. Perfection as always Nami. Your cooking is so much better than Alexander's when he first started. Always just what I want to eat too, without ever asking. Like you can tell what food I want when I come in. As Shiroi left, Rin waved nonchalantly to Shiori . He didn't care much for her, but he knew that she, like many, considered him a friend and he knew he could count on her any time. He was more focused on enjoying his meal, for it was a calm day and his bar was closed till tomorrow. He didn't have much to do at all today.

Goh wiped the sweat from his brow after he worked on working on the metal that was slowing turning into the shape he wanted. He readjusted his goggles and continued his work."I wonder if I could shape this differently...hmm.. nah, might make the costumer mad..Though.. I wonder what the water is like right now....Goh's mind began to wander like it usually did. As his mind wandered, he miscalculated a hit with his hammer which sent the burning metal up and as Goh protected his face the burning metal cut his arm, but before Goh could think, he picked up the metal with his gloved hand and tossed it into the cold water and searched the shop for something to wrap his arm, knowing if he thought about it to hard he'd get sick. If there was anything he hated more besides cats, it was blood.
