Different monsters = different attacks?

I'm guessing they will all attack pretty much the same but how many life points or whatever that they can take off with one hit will differ.

Yeah, they will bump into us.. That's going to be the battle animation.. I would be ok with that. Just as long as we get to fight by playing rock-paper-scissors instead of using rings. mrgreen

i bring up a combination of Pokemon and Super Smash Brothers when i think about it...which doesn't make too much sense. it would be cool if the monsters did attack in different ways, even if there were only a few variations.

Different attack variations? I want to be able to do massive combos at highspeeds and leave giant craters after I am done if they are able to attack in different ways.
