I guess the word count isn't gonna change much anymore since I'm editing so I'll just start adding how far along the story I am in terms of editing:

25 - summer - scene 1

Also started organising a document with character profiles, contexts and backgrounds for my next story, but don't want to work too much on that lest it uninspire me for the current story.

My rewrite is hovering at about 18K, slow going.
Having trouble stitching in a new scene.

going to the animal shelter tomorrow for a discount kitten

Omg a new kitten. What a boost to life

No new kitten yet.
Both a disappointment and a joy to walk into two seperate shelters and see so many empty kennels. The hunt will continue.

Sounds like really interesting research.

My newest project is set in a world where mythological creatures have made a return to the world.
It's been fun to dive into all the different cultures to pull creatures from.

The idea is that the mythical world has been seperated from the human world ny a lindworm (jormundgandr like snake creature) but the mc somehow manages to enter by accident, and to return home she has to slay the lindworm.

i haven't really made any hedgeway in my actual writing...but i did write out a music video (you know the ones u get in ur head for ur story when u hear a certain song?) and put it in a place filled with all my ideas. i got it down to the time and descriptive. maybe one day i'll draw it out myself. or hire someone to make it...probably not... sweatdrop
