^^ this is where I turn in my Filipino card. I wish I liked adobo, but when I was a kid there was a whole week that it was all we had in the house to eat because my parents made a lot and it doesn't spoil easy. Since then I could never really enjoy it. I can't stand it, honestly. Except... adobo flakes. Now that's tasty and novel enough for me not to hate. There are also really cool regional variations of adobo, my late grandfather used to make his with turmeric which gave it a yellow color. And the adobo that is more like deep fried pork belly is good s**t. But the usual adobo, meh. Can't stand it.

Delicious. Homemade ones are the best of course, but hell, I'd even devour the Banquet ones. My taste buds are probably trash. lol
