hello everyone! i'm new to gaia (just joined yesterday) and i was wondering how you got cool items. i cant use the marketplace, and i dont really have any money. any help?

I hope you have a wonderful time on this game.
For starters, you can go to Shops > Shops Directory
and there will be some shops for you with cute items.
When you are three days old, you will be able to access the Marketplace!
The Marketplace prices can be a little whack... and a lot of older Gaia citizens can't
really afford it! We all have to work up to it. Good luck to you on that!
There are also things like Flynn's Plunder, which allows you to bid
on rare and usually high-priced items. When you get familiar with the Marketplace,
there will be thinks like Average Buy Price (ABP) and Lowest Buy Price (LBP).
The ABP can inflate tremendously depending on the amount of listings and how
many people buy those listings (ex: A 3,000,000 item can inflate to 10,000,000 if there are
higher listings left and people buy it. If it's 10,000,000 and there are low listings like 2,000,000
and people constantly buy those listings, it will possibly deflate over time. This can happen
to the more expensive items. Make sure your bid doesn't pass the LBP! You'll just
end up paying more for the same item if you decide to bid.
There are shops like the Cash Shop, Rococo, Mecha Neko, and Club Verge
(these are called premium shops) whichrequire gcash. gcash costs money
and the prices have been going up lately in the shops. You can earn gcash
by doing the offers since Gaia has not long ago updated the offers page.
I recommend you to spend it on things in the Cash Shop, since the items in
the other premium shops are there for a long time, making the Marketplace's (MP'S)
prices very low... so it's not worth spending gcash on those items. You can buy
things in the cash shop (La Victoire) that can be worth up to 100-200 billion gold.
