Romney vs Obama? I can't see a difference, neither of them are going to get us out of Afghanistan and keep us away from UN affairs. War is costing us all this money because we've been in it for 11 years. Romney wants a strong military out in other Countries, Obama's shown through his actions he won't hesitate to attack individuals in other countries [even in they're american citizens]... In gaming terms, Obama's got a kill streak, literally.

Obamacare vs Romneycare: My grandparents live in Massachusetts and they say its all taken care of :. Romney said himself that it was made for only that state and a healthcare for the entire United States can't sustain itself because of our 300,000,000 people.
Romney said he'd repeal it, but then he said there were parts of it he'd like to keep [on yahoo news as my source... dumb source i know], I don't think he's going to get it repealed but he's going to do a heck of a job talking out his butt trying to get voters to believe he will.

Abortion: Obama is pro choice, he even voted for the partial birth abortion which is completely sick and disgusting, killing a baby right before you give birth to it and then give birth to it like a regular proceeding. Abortion advocates... you have to look at that part at least and tell me there's not something metally wrong with you if you go through a partial birth abortion, you're better off to give birth to the baby and give it up for adoption. Doesn't matter the circumstances there because you've already went through the 9 months of labor and are just killing the baby at the end.

Romney has a track record of being prochoice, he is caught many times on film saying he would preserve and protect a woman's right to choose. Obama's going to attack him on this and his ways to seemingly flip flop. I agree with Obama on the flip flopping, its a big issue that Romney will have to face, but Romney said he changed his mind after seeing some sick pieces of legislation come at his office. [something like that] he changes his mind a lot... i hope he doesn't change his mind about being a republican once he's in office.

that leaves us with the economy
Stimulus: Bush did it first, he admitted it failed and said he wouldn't do it again.

Obama: Loves giving money to fat cats [banks] instead of letting some banks fail so new ones can replace them, ones that aren't stupid enough to give out loans to people who can't pay it. The big deal of the loans came from people buying lots of houses they couldn't afford and banks continuously gave out these loans and the economy went bad and people lost their jobs, their houses, and any credit history they could have honestly achieved later in life. I was warned about the housing bubble in 2004 by a girl doing a speech talking about how it would get worse and explode... now it has. Obama is well known for firing the man on top in GM because that man would have destroyed all of GM. Neither me or you really know what would have happened if he was still hired. we just hear that the firing of one man saved the lives of thousands of workers at GM. Kudos? can Obama fire me while i'm working my job at cici's if i bus his table the wrong way? Think of all the people that would have had bad service because of me bussing their tables wrongly. It may be apples and oranges but he's the federal government and that was a private business. Obama's stimulus, he said Unemployment wouldn't go over 9% when he put his stimulus out, yup it did... and its been at 8% for the entirety of his office. He brags about creating jobs, but that 8% unemployment shows that for every job he's created, there has been perhaps 1.5-2 jobs lost. [i guess part time can count as half a job?]

Romney: Ahh the flip flopper once again, he's caught on camera saying there is need for economic stimulus. I saw that video where Romney was having that speech with the small crowd and i have to admit, thats rich. Thats like super fine etiquette rich. So Obama's going to attack him on this and i honestly dont' know what Romney's going to do for the economy. A lot of Obama ads say that Romney takes charge of a company and gives them growth to the top and then sells them out right before leaving. Then that company goes out of business. Romney disputed those claims saying that someone else took charge and ruined the business after he got it in shape. Fellow Gaians might want to look that one up, its weird but cool news. I honestly haven't heard any promises come out of Romney's mouth except he said that Obama sucks at his job and he will make everything better. so Obama vs Romney, who do you choose?

I don't like either, if i was forced to choose with a gun to my face, i'd go with Romney only cause he's prolife [right now]

Lonely Garbage

I'm pro-choice, but... I honestly don't see why somebody would go through all that trouble and go full term... just to kill the kid in the end. The hell? emotion_donotwant
Basically, choose freedom or slavery. Obama says we blong to the Gov. Romney says the Gov. belongs to the people, like what America was built on. If we keep on Obama's path, we sacrifice our freedom for socialism and that means all America is will be dead and our forefathers would have moved, fought, and died in vain.

You seem rather mature, for sure. And I'll be voting. I also think you should look further into things. A little education ever hurt anyone. We don't have any good choices, just like last time, but at least we can vote him out and get a little positive change.

Trust me. I know a lot about this election. I've been debating and discussing Obama for the entire four years he's been in office and I'm an ED-P semi-regular. I've been debating this election since the GOP primaries.

Romney is not going to be positive change. He is so ignorant and useless. He has no idea what he's talking about and nobody knows what he actually believes because he flip flops on everything.

Since you say you have information on this please provide sources for how Obama says we belong to the government and how Romney believes the government belongs to the people and yet somehow wants the government in control of a woman's body. Also please show how socialism means freedom goes away, We have had socialism for years and yet we have survived. Socialism is not the devil.

Coming from Canada and reading the latest news developments, I'm confused as to why Romney is even considered an option for presidency... Maybe I'm a bit biased since all the reports I'm reading are "anti-Romney", so to speak. Is there even a speck of good this guy will do?

This kind of topic is something that I don't usually get too much into since it sparks things up with several people. Both Presidents have their good sides and their flaws.

One of the things people are ticked off about is the fact that Obama promised to bring all of the troops home, but most don't seem to think about the full picture. It's not that easy to just bring people home from countries that were at war. Obama brought back a lot of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, but we still need troops there. If we don't keep some form of security in these areas, who knows what might happen next? Romney says that he will definitely bring all of the troops back, but his promise could be as good as Obama's. It takes a lot of work.

Another thing that the people are debating about is the right for same-sex marriages. I am one-hundred percent in for the same-sex marriage law. Think about it, Obama changed the world for the better. After years and years of this law trying to pass, it finally has. Obama knows that all people and couples, opposite sex, same sex, etc... they all should be able to be happy, have insurance, and all of those other things. If Romney were elected for President, he is a man who would change that back to the way it was and all of those people who got married as same-sex couples... their marriage will be thrown into a shredder. How disappointing would that be? Thousands upon thousands of dollars wasted for a marriage that lasted, what? Less than a year? No.

As for the gas and oil prices, that is another thing that people need to think about. It's not that easy to get gas and oil in any country, even in our own. No matter where we get it from, it might not be the same and the efficiency may not be the same either, but it's still going to be hard to get. Might as well start making solar-powered cars because nobody can charge you for that. The sun does not have a price tag.

Then there's the economy. Sure, Obama spent billions of dollars to get us out of this economic crisis, but he bought us out of a depression that we would have been in. That wouldn't have helped anyone to be completely honest.

Now, with the analysis of the information I have collected, I would rather have Obama as the president instead of Romney. I have my reasons: same-sex marriage is a big thing for me and I honestly don't have a religious preference, so it doesn't matter to me who gets married to who. I also don't like the idea of having someone we don't even know suddenly come into office and change everything. Look at everything Obama has done so far. He promised the country that troops will be brought home, he would help the economy, etc. Things take time and I think he deserves another four years to show us his further progress. He's already accomplished so much, so why let some random guy come into office and change everything?

we've been in war for more then 10 years. I'm not here to make fun, but shouldn't a war be won? Remember world war 2? One of the biggest wars with the most people involved? America was in and OUT in less than a year. millions of people died and yet the war still wasn't prolonged to 10 years. Its Vietnam all over again!
Same sex marriage: I don't think you should force a religious institution to go against their own beliefs that same sex marriage is sinful. That is all
Economy: now i get started, freakn depression was only prolonged not stopped! now we have an extra long recession and it'll get worse anyways over time. You seem to forget the trillions of dollars of debt that Obama put up. He did everything Bush did in only 4 years! He didn't save us, he poured salt over our wounds. Franklin Roosevelt did a better job trying to help people during the Great Depression even though no one had money.

Its the media, its not only Canada many other countries are in favor of Obama which is reflected through the t.v., magazines, radio. That is why so many foreigners who don't even live in U.S.A. are in support of Obama. If you want to find good in him, just research the topic.

I would vote for Obama since he is more for women's rights than Romney and Romney is for big corporations than the small business owners. also Obama is trying to make a better health care system. not to mention it is our bodies we should have the right to get an abortion if we think we arent able to handle raising the kid or our bodies cant handle the pregnancy. I think church and state should be seprated. sides the babies inside of you when you get an abortion have like no brain at first they arnt alive. this is a real heated discustion i hope i dont upset anyone. but i did want to way in.

Even in Muslim countries abortion is allowed under the right circumstances.
Also if abortion is completely illegal what will happen to those who do illegal abortions?
