Darren: Awesome ;o I had no idea you were into it. So you've still been watching it with the latest Doctor?

I use to watch the older Dr. Who episodes before the reboot with the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston). I even watched that horrid pilot movie Fox made for the 8th Doctor in an attempt to bring the show to the states during the mid 90s as well as revive the show after it ended in 1989.

...See, I'm too much of a Whovian. I knew all that off the top of my head. (expect for how to spell Ecclestion -.- )

I rather liked his portrayal of the Doctor (9th) and I do wish he would've at least continued for another half-season.

There actually is a Dr. Who RPG book. It uses a 2d6 system, with additional d6's when needed.

One player plays a Time Lord with a TARDIS, and the rest play companions, and then we go have adventures. As I said, I played a Holmes-ish Time Lord called the Consultant.

Darren: Yeah, agreed. I think he quit 'cause he didn't want to be typecast or something? And then I've only seen him in like...one thing since. Lol

Actually, if I remember correctly, Christopher said he would only do one season before handing it off to someone else. That cynical, dark, and very depressing Doctor wouldn't have lasted as long as say, David Tennant's version of the Doctor.

Oh oh! Maybe it's LabTech Gene?
I mean, I got the feeling from the latest manga that Evil Timmy might be up to no good again. And the wolf has some similarities to the Gro-Gains visual design?
It's just a wild guess. XD

Never had a problem with that. My companions included at different times a mystery writer, a mad scientist, a robot, an ancient Egyptian, a caveman, a Tardis in human form (npc), and the list goes on and on.

There is no end to what the companions can be. There are character builds for Time Agents, for example.

So in a certain sense, being the Time Lord is limiting.
