Balin. I love the relationship between him and Thorin. In the book, he was the only dwarf who volunteered to accompany Bilbo when he went through the secret passage to meet Smaug. He was also the Lord of Moria, and I'll never forget Gimili's face when he found Balin's tomb. : /

I'm conflicted now. I used to be able to say, confidently that it was Balin. Sweetest guy in the book. Followed by Fili, Kili and Bombur.
But now I'm having all these Thorin feels. I used to hate him, such a jerk. I didn't mind he died at all and now everytime I think about the end, I start getting watery eyes.
And I think my favourite character may be Thorin emo

it's the hug.. the ending nearly had me crying, so touching and beautiful T^T
i'll have to take along tissues when seeing the final movie ._.
the thought of Bilbo crying is enough to have my tears flowing ToT
and it's probably gonna be so much more sad in the films than it was in the book T~T

Fili and Kili were eye candy (and funny). Thorin was pretty handsome too heart

But my favorite dwarf was Bofur. I loved his personality. Strong, sometimes jokester, but he's genuinely a kind and gentle soul (as long as you aren't a goblin or orc xD ). Also loved his outfit (that hat is made of so much win xD) and he's handsome to boot. The latter is like an added perk. Lol.
