I would like to see TTSSP grab some awards. Unfortunately, I haven't seen many of the films nominated - stupid school. Really wanna see The Artist...don't want to hear about The Descendants.

I've only seen TGWTDT among the nominees this year.

Not a great year for Oscar predictions this year.

Rooney Mara was robbed; Streep is over-rated. Billy, too.

Angelina Jolie looked like a whore for some reason.

Am I the only one who hears "The Artist" and spontaneously thinks of the years Prince went by calling himself by a symbol?

I have not seen the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo so I can not say whether Rooney Mara did well or not. I personally like Streep, not gonna lie. She is one of the few Hollywood ladies not afraid of aging...which brings up the reason why I quoted you in the first place.

Angelina Jolie....Oh my. Why would she show off her leg? It was not a matter of it being provocative as much as her trying to show off something that was not very appealing whatsoever. You can tell she is too old for that. To put it frankly, the dress was too young for her. Which is a shame because on the right person that dress might have looked good. She cannot pull off that style anymore. Maybe ten possibly even five years ago, she could have but now? There's no way. Well, unless she gained a few pounds. Then maybe it might have been different, but I doubt it. Those Hollywood ladies need to learn how to age and let go of their youth.

As for your 'The Artist" comment, I didn't think of that till you said it. ha ha ha.
