Vivian smiled.
“I love you too, but I have to go to work. So I do have to get ready soon.” She just laid there with him breathing in his scent for a while. She wished that the morning could last longer but she didn't like to be late. It was the one thing she really hated being. Leaving the comfort of Ryan and a warm bed to shower and leave for the day was going to be some what of a challenge. She opened her eyes and looked up at him with a small smile before skillfully untangled her self from him and out of bed.
'Ok not as big of a challenge as I thought it would be.'
Instead of going for her work clothing Vivian snatched up her purse and dug around for her cell phone. she had decided not to go to work. Vivian had been craving to have a day of just her and Ryan for a while now. Once it was in hand she searched her contacts for one of the others who could take over for her. Soon after she decided on Jane, one of the few girls she had been ok friends with. She chewed on her lower lip before hitting the call button, hoping that the other female didn't have plans today.
"Hello?" A groggy Jane answered.
"Hey it's Viv. Can you cover my shift today?" Vivian forced her voice to come out scratchy and a bit whinny.
"Sure. What time is it?... Jeez Vivian you couldn't have called me earlier?" The sound of bed cover being thrown and curses filled her ear.
"Sorry. And thanks." She didn't even wait for Jane to say any thing before hitting the end button. She threw the old phone back in its rightful place among the other useless things in her 'suite case' as every one called her over sized purse. What could she say. She was a girl after all.
"There. I'm all yours today." With a smile Vivian crawled back into bed. Going right back into her normal laying spot in his arms. Right as she was about to rest her hear on his shoulder she caught the smell of a wolf through the window she had opened some time last night. As to not alarm Ryan she pretended like every thing was normal and just laid with him. But in reality things were not alright. She had smelled and seen far too many wolves this month. Some she had thought she had recognized the scent to. But that was impossible. She had been careful on the full moons. Making sure to cover her scent and tracks to the house. She did not want her old pack to catch up to her. Nor any other pack for that matter. And she didn't want to move again. She loved it here way to much to give it up.
