The Pure was created through the unsupervised breeding between two Myu. He was born with the gifts of generating psyon shields and amplifying other psyon-based capabilities. Like his counterpart, he has a new and strange power, but this is more like telepathy; he can offer them mental comfort, or cause them severe psychological suffering. He can go so far as to sense psyon energy as well – it appears as a flame of its respective colour to him. This is incredibly useful due to the Pure’s physical weakness and his lack of sight, as he can use psyon to guide himself to an extent.

His bleak history and lack of parental figures has left Sage a confused and quiet, yet surprisingly proud and irritable child. While difficult to rouse, his temper is infamous and has caused many scars between the UNW and the Myu colony; it is after all the rage of a simple and emotional youth. Sage will always favour retreat or tense discussion over bloodshed between these two groups, using the latter as a distraction so that he can implement the former. However, due to his pride, he will find it difficult to flee after a battle has commenced. He is secretly petrified and uncertain of what the future holds for the Myu race.

Definitions, synonyms and common phrases most applicable to to Lance would go along the lines of, 'all brawn and no brains', 'typical soldier', 'violent', 'blood-thirsty', and 'a heartbreaker'. These are so accurate that it could be said Ionescu doesn't show any seriousnesness when regarding life at all; not for his when he refuses to engage in a serious relationship with a woman, and not for anyone else's ... especially not when he has a gun. He's not the smartest or most cunning of officers and expects such traits out of his General. Instead, he'd rather lead his fellow men into the fray and show them how it should be done.

As such, he has very little respect for the Myu or any other 'alien' species. He understands the UNW's desire to eradicate them and is all too happy to do it; perhaps because his instinct demands it, but more likely it is the fact that his brother and several friends and acquaintances of his were on the Phantom when it was attacked. As far as he knows, they were all killed in the struggle. A strong man with a lust for vengeance, Ionescu will do all in his power to convince the General of the Myus' evil personas.

Jir'u was hatched and raised on a jungle planet deep within the troodonian empire's borders. While small and mostly undeveloped, it was an asset to their growing power, with many untapped resources within its core. The natives, quickly converted into slaves, of this nameless planet were dubbed 'Vaadtzen', the term meaning something along the lines of 'skinny lizard'. The simple name rings true; Jir'u is an astounding seven feet and a half tall, yet is incredibly thin and lanky.

Because of these attributes the troodons used it as a scout, but it ruined the opportunity by losing its temper and stealing a soldier's rations for itself as revenge. Considered little more than a slave at the time, Jir'u was stripped of all personal belongings and forced to board a warship. It was destined to die as bait. However due to a strange turn of events, the ship was captured by those that called themselves the 'Anima', and Jir'u found itself free - to a point. Its fearsome, hyena-like laughter and animalistic lack of empathy has left it estranged from most of the anima.

The only thing that is truly certain about this young man is that he is, and perhaps always be, something of a mystery. Despite his youthful appearance and optimistic, sometimes child-like nature he is in fact almost a century old. He began his career as a marine upon a ship known as the Reverence, designated to holding off the rogue AI machines that had corrupted some of the UNW's most powerful spacecraft. After a mission that went very poorly, he resigned and committed himself purely to the UNW's intergalactic navy. He rose quite quickly through the ranks, and was the captain of a small but hardy and swift ship when his last mission was given to him - to destroy a space-port held by one of the Artificial Intelligence machines. He refuses to speak about the events which did lead to the success of his goal, but some after eighty-seven years he was later found in a cryogenic slumber in a one-man escape pod. He was taken back to earth but remained in the slumber as his body was given nutrients to heal what wounds he had more quickly.

The UNW had considered euthanising him out of morality, but when desperation for loyal and skilled naval officers came about, they instead woke him. It has been some three years since then, and he still has some difficulty coming to grips with the difference in time. Despite his uncomfortable awakening, he has not forgotten his place or more importantly, his virtues and ideals. He serves with honour, waiting for the day that he can return home to one of the nurses who had cared for him, now his expectant wife.

[[xxxxxxxxxxxxxxCreation from the Mind of bippa-san]]

Birth name: Freidrich Abel Reinhardt, however when dealing with the business of the underworld he goes by the Chinese name of Feng.
                                            How old: Twenty-three.
                                            Gender: Most certainly male.
What I am: A human who rejects the idea of werewolves or other horrific creatures.
Gender preference: Unlike most people of the era, Freidrich is surprisingly open about his lustiness and perverted nature. It's clear that he sleeps with women on a regular basis, but while there's no proof of it, there are a few rumours that he has had experiences with men as well.

My Specialty: Freidrich is the owner and manager of a very successful business known as La Rosa Colta, a popular brothel whose themes are inspired by various ethnicities and cultures. Besides having two dozen or so women under his wing, Freidrich smuggles fine opium into the country via a number of unnamed trade routes. The money he makes from selling opium is immense, but he has very few buyers; Freidrich will only sell to those he trusts, and to those he knows can afford it, despite the free and open marketing of opium. He keeps his stores in the brothel's basement in locked crates. He prefers to keep the stuff for when the vault is empty or for celebrations with his fellow 'criminals' of sorts, though he believes such a term is very, very over-exaggerated.
Weapons [if any]: He regularly carries a cane on his person. Freidrich also has taken an interest in the sport of fencing and thus owns a rapier, but rarely has it nearby. Instead, it happens to spend most of its time on the wall in his personal study.

Appearance: For this clever businessman, there are no such thing as 'casual' clothes. Such extravagant outfits are all the man can bear to be seen in, and thus he'll quite happily empty his purse if the trade is for a lovely jacket or a fine set of shoes. He particularly loves spats, cravats and top hats; simple accessories that can alter the social class of a person. Freidrich loves monochrome colours, favouring white suits over black for the sake of 'standing out'. He shamelessly enjoys the attention he receives from his attire.

His usual set is mostly intricate and attractive, and has a few traits that might suggest having been inspired by formal military uniforms. Freidrich wears a simple black, long-sleeved, buttoned shirt underneath a much more detailed black-and-white lace vest. The vest itself lacks any pockets. Over this he wears a white tailcoat with buttoned cuffs and a high collar. He wears a silvery-white bow around his neck in the place of a cravat. As a brooch, he has a second bow with some jewellery and the portrait of a woman's face in a small frame. It's said that the face changes each day, with the faces of each of the girls who works at the brothel. Freidrich's pants are white, the pockets to which are buttoned, and are neatly tucked into white spats. His shoes are ebony-black, as are his gloves. As outgoing and over-dressed as he is, Freidrich wears his clothes with nothing but utter pride. Once familiarised with his proud nature one could even come to the conclusion that he wants to look as nice as his girls, or perhaps better.
                                            Werewolf Appearance [if applicable]: ...
                                            ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫

How I'm described: For someone who has two rather sleazy jobs, Freidrich is a surprisingly welcoming character. He is quite open with his emotions, constantly smiling and lifting the mood of even the most grim environments. He's also quite empathetic, making him a comfortable person to lean on during hard times. However, his continual grinning and laughter can make him appear somewhat childish and inexperienced to others, especially those who lead much harsher lifestyles. Like most men working in the underworld he is incredibly proud and can't handle failure or embarrassment very well. He is self-critical, and critical of the work of others. Embarrassment is one of very few occurrences that can make Freidrich truly upset.

Another trait that points toward a standard of immaturity is his tendency to sulk for long periods of time. While it does not happen often, it is a very real threat: Freidrich will lock out most or all of the people he's familiar with, preferring to hide in his room and whimper the shame away. As a result his huge amount of pride makes for a very poor shield, but it could also be considered a weapon of sorts. Though he may handle insults and criticism poorly, Freidrich will retaliate with a newfound determination. During these moments his ferocity in and out of business allows him to not only keep up with his budget, but to expand it as well. His activity and curiosity has made him a fan of learning numerous skills; as a result he is multilinguistic and has some rough, but relatively developed musical talents. Lastly, one of his greatest flaws is one that he makes quite clear: he's incredibly lusty and rather perverted. While initially he may try to seem polite and innocent, it's likely that a relationship is given enough growth he will be producing flirts and naughty jokes at an insane rate.

                                            My Likes:
                                            Friendliness in people.
                                            Anything beautiful and/or interesting.
                                            Business being successful.
                                            An 'earnest snug' with someone.
A cozy night by the fireplace.

                                            My Dislikes:

                                            Rudeness and cruelty.
                                            Bad business.
                                            The Scotland Yard.
Rejection of any kind; his pride can't endure it.

                                            ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫

My life's story: Despite the origins of his name, Freidrich was not born in Germany. In fact, he was concieved, delivered and raised in the trading city of Shanghai, in China. His father and mother were both German, hence his own western name. The family lived in the Asian city due to the fact that Freidrich's father was a tea trader, and a rather successful one at that. His products were known for entering some of the most elaborate restaurants and households across many countries: France, England, and even his homeland. However, tea wasn't the only thing that Freidrich's father sold. On a much quieter note, he also traded opium directly to London's and Paris' underworlds, though this side-business was very small and not a lot of profit was gained due to a lack of interest.

Freidrich was a youth of fifteen when his mother passed away. His father was quick to remarry a young and beautiful Chinese woman. She, however, viewed the boy as a pest and as a bad omen to their marriage. With several months' worth of persuasion Freidrich was passed onto an orphanage, though at his age it was hardly necessary; despite having been raised in a fine household he quickly came to grips with the realities of the world and made a life for himself on the streets, doing jobs for a number of businesses throughout the region. When he was sixteen, he secured a job at a brothel known as Huángdì de Huāyuán, The Emperor's Garden. There he washed, cleaned and cooked, as well as did his best to avoid the customers. Thankfully there were no incidents, but the same could not be said for some of the women, whom he considered to be his friends, perhaps even as his sisters. Several months after having been hired, Freidrich decided that he could take no more of the abuse.

It began with scoping the ports, watching his father's ships move in and out of Shanghai's docks. At last, when he was sure that he knew how to sneak onto one of the boats undetected, he collected ten or so of the women and led them aboard. Fortunately, posing as an untrained sailor was not difficult, and while he was taught in the ways of controlling a ship he moved freely about, retrieving food and other necessities for the girls hiding in the hull. Freidrich was also careful to make a bond with the captain; if the prostitutes were discovered, then friendship - as corny and strange as it sounded - with a man of authority was probably the only thing that could save them from some lonely sailors.

Through this relationship Freidrich learnt that the ship did not actually belong to his father; none of them did. This ship in particular belonged to the captain, who had been hired to move back and forward with the goods. He also discovered that his father was as filthy as he had originally believed, holding back on payments and damaging the ties with his partners. Casually, he spoke about how he would have liked to try his hand at trading, if he had the resources. This must have sparked something for the captain, because when they finally arrived in London he chose to give Freidrich a large amount of the opium and the names of several captains that he knew. The young man was in shock, but incredibly thankful. He wondered if his father would actually fall for the lame story that thieves had raided the ship overnight and taken the goods, but perhaps it didn't matter, because Freidrich's new friend - Captain John Abernathy - was planning to retire anyway.

He led the girls to a nearby brothel. Thankfully, the owner of the building welcomed them with open arms. They stayed only a month before further into London's depths, their second find being a much nicer one; the building was of fine design, clearly a place that received a lot of business. As with the previous business they were accepted for work. The manager of this place, La Rosa Colta, was an older Italian woman known as Cristina. She acted more like a mother than a manager, loving to dress up her workers in extravagant clothes and to compliment their beauty. She agreed to letting Freidrich work there as her personal butler, but warned him that if they ever had the request for a man, he would have to step in. Such a fact was terrifying for him at first, but he became accustomed to the beautiful women (and very rarely, men as well) who visited La Rosa Colta. When Cristina passed away and the business was passed onto Freidrich, seeing as she lacked heirs and he was the only employee with any experience in running the brothel, it did not stop thriving. Freidrich had discovered another side to himself that allowed him to manage the facility with even more passion than its previous owner - albeit that 'other side' being quite dark, lusty and perverted. It has given him a reputation in the local area as a handsome, young, wealthy heartbreaker to most women, and a even greater businessman and friend to even more men.

Over the years he has also re-involved himself in the opium business, taking the captain's advice and making contact with other ship-owners in need of work. While his tea and opium trades are still relatively small and certainly not valued enough to compete with his father's company in terms of sheer popularity, his position allows him a small but direct influence in London's underworld. Because of his involvement with them, he goes by the fake name of Feng to avoid scrutiny from the Scotland Yard. He has become wary with the outbreak of a new virus in the city, and so has grown a tendency to send his girls to work in the hospital - persuading those lonely doctors for a free examination isn't always a difficult job, and Freidrich's curious nature drives him to want more knowledge about this elusive disease.

Last minute notes: For the last few months Freidrich has been involved romantically with another man - a doctor, to be exact, who goes by the name of Jahi Vibhaakar. While their relationship is quite discreet, they're affectionate with one another. Freidrich genuinely enjoys the bond, which is certainly something, considering he's never been a man to make ties and keep them.

                                            Birth name: Gilbert August Barnaby.
                                            How old: Twenty-eight.
Gender: The same as any other male human being.
What I am: Human. A man of logic and science, it's clear to him that werewolves are just a myth conjured up by the local criminals, perhaps the heads of the underground themselves.
Gender preference: Timid and self-conscious by nature, as well as being absorbed in his work and fearful of society's backlash, he avoids romantic relationships. Despite this, he's only found himself interested in the bodies of other males. Gilbert finds the mind to be even more interesting, however, and knows that if he ever seeks a partner they will have to be an intelligent one.

My Specialty: Barnaby has just recently been promoted to the rank of detective and thus lacks any genuine experience. He's still accustomed to chasing people down with batons and assisting other policemen in meagre tasks such as barricading crime scenes or controlling crowds at public events. The Scotland Yard has given him a very serious and dangerous task as the new detective as his existence, so far, has gone unnoticed by the ring of thugs and criminals that rule London's underworld.
Weapons [if any]: He carries a small knife and an old service revolver on his body for defence whenever he's undercover. During events where he is allowed to be recognised as a member of the Scotland Yard he will also carry a typical polished baton. When worse comes to worse, he's been trained - the hard way - on basic fist fighting techniques: try to hit as much as possible, and dodge when you can.

Appearance: <<your typical clothing, stick to the time period>>

How I'm described: determined to help others yets doubts helping himself, logical, serious, quiet, smart, socially awkward (not in the shy sort of way, but rather mentions awkward subjects, or just says wrong things at the wrong time), cowardly, depressed, philosophical, confused (about life in general). the sort of a-hole who says, "if death is inevitable then what's the point of working so hard, knowing that you're just going to lose everything?"

    Username: bippa-san.
    Name: Gero Solson.
    Gender: Male.
Species: Tau: tall, anthropomorphic lion creatures that are known particularly for being bipedal and linguistic, as well as for having established an organised society despite remaining bestial tendencies.
    Age: Twenty-two.
Hair Colour: A darker but still colourful shade of yellow, ironically referred to as ‘lion’ yellow/brown. Other shades, such as dark gold, khaki and ecru can be found in his mane.
Eye Colour: Gero’s eyes are a dazzling shade of azure.
Weapon: This young brute dislikes weapons. To him, they are the device of a feeble creature that Neriskhan, goddess of Nature and Mother of all beasts, frowns upon. He himself prefers to prove his strength and agility in paw-to-paw combat, fighting as he was built to do – with claws, fangs, and what might be considered as a wall of muscle. However, his design does poorly against the tools that other races usually take pride in, for example swords or axes. Gero carries a bo staff ( a simple wooden staff ) with him for such emergencies, but would probably be too proud to resort to it. His fighting is rarely hampered by an old war-wound on his right side near his lower rib, where he was pierce by the horn of a charging buffalo.

Bio: Born and raised in the plains to the north-east of Feora itself, Gero grew accustomed to a merciless sun and long golden grasses. His people were not nomadic, but lacked the resources for grand cities as well, instead opting to live in animal-skin tents and remain in their place by The Taonga River. Their village was small, but productive; there was little concern for starvation. However, war was an entirely different matter. Their species, the Tau, were incredibly violent and took a great amount of delight in bloodshed and horror. At the very young age of three, Gero was introduced to wrestling; at the age of five, he was given a bow and arrow, as well as being encouraged to use his claws in combat. “Neriskhan gave us the sickleswords upon our paws so that we could smite all who’d dare to challenge us,” his father had told him regularly. “Use them, your fangs and brawn to punish whoever speaks lowly of your strength, son. To kill is a part of nature’s cycle and we must respect that. Do not let any other beast convince you otherwise.”

Of course, with such a view of the world, the Tau were not regarded highly by other civilisations; they were barbaric, monstrous. Their love of glory and bloodshed was sickening. In fact, they were so feared and disliked that even trading was kept to an absolute minimum, executed by only the most distressed and miserable of travellers. Because of this lack of contact with other realms, the Tau’s knowledge was kept to a minimum. Weapons remained simple, as did huts, food and materials. There was no pool of resources to learn from, and no need to discover this new knowledge, anyway. Because of their distance, Tau became xenophobic and especially vicious toward outsiders. It was all a desperate effort to defend a culture that had not developed or been shaped in several decades. Their cleverness and innovation steadily faded. However, this was all destined to change.

Gero was fifteen and entering his six-year passage into adulthood when they came: small, bald creatures with funny flat little ears and blunt teeth staggered across the Tau campsite. They were weapon-less, and instead carried large tombs, inkwells and feathers for writing. This was all very new to the lion-people of the plains, who were accustomed to painting upon stones like their ancestors had for so many hundreds of years. A thin, portable piece of ‘paper’ was incredible, and even more so was the language used to write on it; rather than images, there were symbols that, when put together, could form ‘words’ that could be ‘read’. The scribes offered to teach them about this form of communication in exchange for general knowledge about the Tau; they explained that they were monks writing literature about the world, sent by a very wealthy and curious noble in Feora.

This did not rest well with the Alpha and Chieftain of the time, a large ‘monster’ known as Sithembile. The leader rejected their requests to stay with his tribe, immediately suspicious of their intentions. He had growled that, ‘if their precious lord was so interested, he should have travelled to the plains to learn for himself’. The monks departed, much to an equally curious Gero’s frustration, but he accepted the Alpha’s decision and proceeded with his training.

Six years later, at the age of twenty-one, he had passed the last of his tests and was now known as an adult. By this stage his mane had grown long, he had developed a strong build, and wielded a fierce personality; all traits that would make for a promising Tau warrior. His eldest brother, Dumisa, had defeated Sithembile in combat and was now recognised as the Chieftain of their tribe. His sister, Akosua, was praised as the group’s most skilled huntress for her cunning. Gero was hoping to match their success and become the most powerful of all Tau warriors, and effectively his brother’s general. However, Dumisa had very different plans in store for him.

“We’ve become weak,” Dumisa told him grimly one night. “Our people are in disarray, trapped in time; we’ve nothing to teach our children, no discoveries are being made. We’ve not the resources nor knowledge to enhance our lives. I do not want to be the Chieftain of a small tribe, brother. We are Tau! We deserve more than this! Our people should be living in castles, serving as knights. Yet we’re out here, wasting away in the grasses like animals. One day war will come and we’ll be unable to protect ourselves … one day war will come because those outsiders think that we are monsters.” He had kicked a wooden chair, broken it with alarming ease. “I will reopen trading with the nearby cities. I want to learn. I want to feel powerful, and give an empire to my sons and to yours. I have a task for you.”

And that was how Gero, the beast who had desired strength and status above all else, found himself wandering lonely and dusty roads in an attempt to learn more about the outside world, as well as how to spread good news about his people. Only recently has he arrived in Feora and he finds the city itself to be distressing in the very least; it’s crowded, loud, and all of those strange little bald creatures swear and cower whenever he walks by. Despite this, he has discovered an interest in tournaments and fighting roles, such as gladiators and knights. He wants to join one of these competitions to prove the natural strength of the Tau to all other races.

Personality: The best word to describe Gero – and not oddly, a word that is often used to refer to him – is ‘brute’. That’s what he is; a very large, very powerful beast with little to no morality when it comes to ‘sensitive’ situations, such as handling a person’s emotions. He is all too aware of his power, and is happy to use his size and ferocity to his advantage, often intimidating or simply crushing whoever he’s grown a grudge for. He’s incredibly judgemental and can set his views on a person simply because of how they look at him, or the tone of their voice when speaking a greeting, or even on what they’re wearing. Because of his physique and deep voice, people often forget that he is still just a young man – someone who was only recently considered a child and therefore allowed to act like one regularly – and that he is still adjusting. His crude, blunt nature can be unbearable for some but his trustworthiness is a trait not to be questioned; he will not betray another, no matter what might be bargained. He remains xenophobic and is often very rude to other races, especially humans and elves. Despite his rough nature he becomes deeply hurt when referred to as an animal, and will often exact vengeance in the form of physical abuse, though never when someone’s unsuspecting; he’ll challenge them openly, before a crowd, so that he can savour his victory later.
