It would be way easier to manage my inventory, mainly items that can be equipped, if I could press a button and sort them alphabetically in each tab (example "hats", "tops"..ect) while dressing my avatar. This would also be useful in the marketplace when trying to sell duplicates. I know there is an option to "organize my inventory", but when you've been on gaia since 2007 and you've accumulated a lot of things (especially sentimental event items that really aren't worth much), it's very time consuming attempting to organize it all manually.
I believe my suggestion would make it easier to customize really awesome avatars as well as boost gaia's economy since people would have a better idea of what they actually have.

I would like to have an easier way to sort my items in different categories.
I already tried with the really really really really old inventory arranger, but it's so messy I can't focus on doing it.

It's a terrible tool in application. If you don't keep everything nicely organized from the start, it's impossible to get it that way later.

I'm trying to keep this thread visible here so that it might get some attention from someone who could help fix this so thanks for posting smile

Right now I organize things maybe once a month by color, so that I'm able to find it easier. If there were an easier way to sort my inventory, either by item type or color, that would be extremely helpful.

a better inventory arranger would be awesome. Supposedly the devs have been working on it, but there hasn't been any word on it for a while

I just spent 45 minutes to organize maybe 30-50 event items....ridiculous.

I wouldn't want alphabetically to be the ONLY way to sort them but it's definitely one great idea for sorting them!

I would love multiple storage boxes...there are some items, event items mostly, that I don't wear but once a year. It would be great to have a separate storage box for each category.

Plus I hoarde multiples of items for my charity thread since it gives away full trades of items...

I would love a way to organize by type such as:

Gold shop (organize by shop also)
MCs
EIs
CI drops
CS items

That's kinda how I organize mine already and it took a good three hours the first time I did it...but now if I don't jump on it the minute I buy anything new...it gets really bad.

Also I need more storage and an easier way to select multiple items (clicking every item with ctrl held is tiring) since I am going through and buying every single shop item again. I won't use a lot of them so it would be nice to be able to store them or at least categorize them all together so that I can give them away more easily.

Oh yes, I had the displeasure of trying to organize my inventory a few days ago.

GOD, I never want to sort through old event items again!
I just get rid of all event items before they stack up again, and make me spend hours over where to place them. orz

We need a better item organizer.
