XX Sarada relaxed for a moment, but never took her eyes off of the building as the flames licked at the wood and furniture, burning whatever it could to ash and charring what it couldn't. As she witnessed this she became sort of optimistic and hoped that the magenta-haired woman burned along with it, but it was just that - optimism. The reality of the situation was that she most likely didn't, so when she saw Mayday walk out of the burning house she wasn't surprised. However, it did appear like it did work, but sadly she had super regenerative powers. Damn it! Why couldn't things not turn out like your typical television show or movie?

She frowned and then sighed audibly at the girl's remark. She would find a way to mess up that woman's face somehow! "Damn regeneration," she mumbles under her breath before her attention was whisked away from her. Once Mayday had finished regenerating the roof underneath Sarada's feet started crumbling beneath. Soon after the entire building followed and it looked like she was about to get swallowed up by a giant skull. "s**t!" she curses as she could feel her feet give underneath her. This wasn't good. She didn't want to die here.

                                But..

Perhaps she could use it as a distraction?

XX The raven-haired woman quickly reacted before Mayday had popped out of the ground. She grabbed onto her lightning clone's hand as they both fell into the jaw's of the skull and sent her hurling towards Mayday which would make her think that her clone was the real 'Sarada'. Meanwhile, Sarada would have quickly formed hand seals before she was swallowed whole and used a substitution technique to escape, leaving only a plank of wood from the broken down building in her place. She wasn't going to give that thing the satisfaction of eating her or trapping her.

Unfortunately, though, the same couldn't be said for the clone. She got grasped around the arms by the psychotic b***h woman and went plummeting to the ground with Mayday in tow. "Let go of me!" she cries, trying to wiggle her way out of the magenta-haired woman's grasp but to no avail. She was slammed in the head by her headbutt and disoriented. Damn, she had an immensely dense skull. The clone didn't disappear though, at least not yet, and kept up the illusion by trying to fight her off by kneeing her butt or wiggling around wildly.

All the while, the real Sarada had created another clone, but it was a regular shadow clone this time. "Go and tell the Hokage that we're under attack," she orders to which the clone obliges. Once the clone disappears into an alleyway thanks to all the smoke and destruction caused by herself and Mayday she would sneak around to catch Mayday off guard. If the distraction worked Mayday would soon be receiving a Chidori Eisō as the clone would disburse, sending an electrical charge through her body which would be followed up by a condensed blade of lighting chakra aiming to tear through her upper-left backside and through her left breast just underneath her heart.

She didn't want to kill her, no. But capture her. If the paralyzing effects of the lightning proved sufficient provided she got hit by both attacks she would be paralyzed and left helpless, or so Sarada hoped, again. She may possess bone-like and regenerative abilities, but that wouldn't stop the natural paralyzing effects of lightning once it hit.

Sakkaclone hadn't been expecting Masaru to have such an extreme reaction to her summons, and even though she wasn't usually the type of person who laughed at other people's fear she nonetheless couldn't stop the quiet snorting laugh that burst forth from her mouth. She'd never had someone react in such a way to her bats before, at least not an experienced adult, and while she knew it was only natural for someone to be shocked by such a sudden rush of tiny creatures she hadn't really thought Masaru would have been the type to frighten so easily. Making a mental note to refrain from summoning anything larger than a cat in the future, she quickly raised her hands to her face to stop any further chuckling from escaping her person. The tiny summons, however, felt no need to refrain from further embarrassing their blonde haired companion, and their tittering could be heard as they flew off towards their given direction, the chiming laughter and teasing cackles gradually fading off as they disappeared into the crowd.

Once she was sure that she wasn't going to giggle any further, the purple haired woman shot Masaru an apologetic look, her lips twitching into a sheepish kind of smile as she shrugged her shoulders, clearly regretful that she hadn't thought to offer any warning.

“Eeughh! Why'd it gotta be bats?!”

Sakkaclone scrunched up her face in regret. “Sorry.”

Scooting towards the blonde so that she wouldn't have to shout over the increasing noise of the crowd, the purple haired woman nodded in affirmation to Masaru's assumption. “Yeah. There are more ANBU in Konoha right now then there are anywhere else.” she explained. “They'll have everything under control soon enough.”

That was a lie. She knew from the sound of the screaming and the way ninja had been flowing towards the site of the explosion in ever more powerful groups that this was not the usual revolt, and while she knew deep down that there was an ever increasing chance that someone she knew had been hurt, she knew the last thing that anybody needed was for her to go running into the fold. While it still hurt to admit she understood that her presence in any fight would simply cause more harm then good, so even as her body thrummed with her desire to protect the village the purple haired woman forced her attention to remain on Masaru.

                                      “We should do something?”

He was clearly frightened despite his valiant attempt to seem otherwise, and as his wide eyes looked to her for guidance Sakkaclone knew that she was needed here just as much as she would have been needed anywhere else. She nodded in affirmation and jerked her head in the direction the civilians were running, and as she brushed her hands against her legs in an absent attempt to sweep her clothing back into place she offered what she hoped was comforting smile.

“We'll head towards the closest bomb shelter. There's one just around the corner beneath the coffee stall, we'll be safe there.” Sakkaclone announced, and once she was certain she had been heard she began to follow the crowd, breaking into a loose jog when she was sure Masaru was following behind her. She quickly realized that they would get lost in the panicking horde, however, so she reached back with her right hand and curled her fingers around the blonde haired male's wrist, her grip firm and gentle as she guided the taller man through the throng.

They were quickly engulfed within the moving crowd, getting pushed and shoved in all directions as children screamed out for their parents and adults did anything they could to reach their designated safe house first. Market stalls were trampled as the panicked swarm stampeded down the street, and as the sound of more explosions cracked through the air the panic only seemed to intensify.

Though there was every chance that he wouldn't be able to hear her above the clamor around them, she nonetheless looked back at Masaru and squeezed his wrist in a reassuring manner. “It'll be ok. I've got you.”

                                      Skawly

Feeling the woman wiggle and squirm under her body sent chills down Mayday's spine. It was that initial struggle to escape, to get out of her grasp, and not being able to that brought not only lust but bloodlust to her heart. The magenta haired woman made it a point to watch her wiggle around and just watch her with a smile, perhaps she was enjoying this a little too much? Though, she had things to do and this was just a little icing on the cake for Mayday. With the Uchiha down it was time to take her Sharinga- POOF. Startled a bit by the surprise, Mayday was then subject to electrocution which cause her back to arch a bit. The immediate annoyance and her lust becoming anger brought out the stitches to start covering her whole body. Never before has she been subjugated into going into her other form. The form that was unexplained and what not even science could figure out. Her eyes changed drastically: Ringed with her pupils shrinking about half their original size. She let out a growl as the electricity was keeping her frozen in her place. Tensing up her fingers and slowly growing claws of bone, she was about to break out of the hold until something pierced through her back. The next surprise coming from the lightning chakra through her body made her call out and arch her back again, sounding much like a scream of pain. It wasn't pain she was feeling though, it was more anger. This Uchiha was really getting on her nerves really quick, that being said, this fight wouldn't be about her eyes anymore. No... this was about something more personal. As simple as it was, that joyful feeling of both lust and bloodlust Mayday's only permitted to feel sometimes is something she lived for. When your mind has been broken into the monster she was morphed into, it was the simple things like that she loved the most. Being played for a fool was one thing, but to mess with her feelings like that was another.

The electricity caused her hair to become fritzy and give her a more feral appearance. This woman had the means of capturing the magenta haired woman and she wasn't about to get what she wanted. Closing her eyes and letting out another low growl, Mayday's body tensed up as she was starting to move slowly. After a few moments of resisting Mayday's eyes would burst open and she finally broke free by throwing her body to the right causing the blade to slice through her body and come out the side. The wound regenerated quickly as she rolled on the ground to the side, quicker than she regenerated earlier. After only a couple roles Mayday was immediately on her feet and charging at Sarada without any wasted time. Her ringed eyes would seemingly pierce into the Uchiha's soul, with more anger than any living creature could ever express through eye contact alone. Mayday's movements became irrational as she stumbled first towards the raven haired woman and became fluid once more. Before reaching her Mayday swung her hands at her opponent, throwing projectile shards of bone at her rapidly. Wherever Sarada ended up Mayday would be right there in her face. With incredible speed Mayday threw her arms at her with her fingers together in open palms to stab her hand through the Uchiha. Her arms moved so quickly that to the naked eye they were blurs. If her hands weren't going to pierce through the Uchiha's small body, then it was her neck that Mayday wanted. If all of her attacks missed she would leap at Sarada suddenly to grab her neck. If she got of hold of her, Mayday would start squeezing the life out of her slowly, wanting her to suffer a little before she went for the kill.

Bringing Sarada's eyes to hers, she activates Haibumaindo no konran. A few seconds is all she needed, entering the mind of the Uchiha, Sarada would become helpless. The sky became darker and all external sounds became reversed. Mayday's grinned widened as she squeezed her neck harder and lifted her off the ground. Without any means of defending herself, Mayday took her other hand and started stabbing it through the Uchiha's body. One right after another without stopping. The pain would feel all too real, the sound of Mayday's hand piercing and ripping back out would echo in the girl's mind again and again. After those few moments were over, Mayday deactivated her Genjutsu to bring Sarada back into reality where she was only being held up by the neck in Mayday's hand. With her hand held up as though she was going to put the Uchiha into the real life situation that her Genjutsu entailed, she stopped for a moment. It was then that she realized what she came to this village for and that she let her anger get ahead of her. If too much energy was used then Naruto would get the advantage and possibly take her down, she couldn't have that.

Letting go of Sarada Mayday's hands came to her head as she took a couple steps back. The pain surging through her head caused her to moan a bit as the stitches receded. Falling to one knee, only one hand remained on her head as she winced. After a few moments, without saying anything to the Uchiha, Mayday stood back up and started walking towards her. Only it would only appear like that, because the magenta haired woman walked right past her and towards the area where she threw the Hokage's jacket. With her body swaying back and forth as she slowly walked over towards it, her one hand was covering one eye and her temple. The headache was becoming great and pain was something she wasn't too accustomed to anymore. Why her brain was allowing the pain to hit her, she didn't know, but she had to get out of here, that was for sure. Picking up the jacket, she slowly wrapped it around her body without putting her arms through it yet. As Sarada remained laying on the ground, Mayday walked over to the limp body. With the Uchiha laying on her back, Mayday lowered down and sat over her the same way when pinned the clone down. Bringing her face very close to Sarada's, anyone looking from a distance would start questioning what was going on. "It's too bad I ran out of time playing with you, I really wanted to push our relationship further" To be honest it was difficult to talk while her headaches were surging through her. Alas, she kept her soft and lustful voice towards the Uchiha. "I'll have to take those eyes from you some other time love. I apologize for not going through with what I said I was going to do." Mayday's voice would actually sound apologetic and genuine, as if she was truly being so kind.

XX Sarada witnessed as the girl's features started to change, twist, and morph into an ungodly creature and her face quickly twisted into one of fear and disbelief. What the hell? Next, she found it harder to maintain the chidori blade she had created. The lightning was becoming ineffective at holding her in place and if she didn't react quickly she feared what Mayday might do if she got her hands on her. Because although she may have had the Sharingan and her mother's strength she wasn't equipped just yet to fight this insane-psych-ward-needing woman.

She would have to move and quick.

As the blade ripped out of Mayday's side, Sarada muscles tensed and she prepared for another technique. Perhaps she could use Chidori Nagashi? Nope, she doubted she would be able to get it off in time. Not with this woman's spe- as her thoughts were processing through her mind she was grabbed by the throat. The raven-haired Uchiha had managed to dodge the stabs to the chest, but she wasn't nearly as fast enough to react to her attempted grasp at her throat. Thus, she laid at the woman's mercy while clawing at the woman's arm, trying to wiggle herself out of her grasp much like her clone did.

XX Sadly though, she didn't have as much luck. She was subjected to the woman's illusion and was sent flying face first into a mock reality. She watched as her environment churned around her and became something out of a nightmare. Then she was subjected to what the woman had tried before. Again.. and again.. and again Mayday stabbed through her chest. The pain was crippling and cringe worthy had she not had her famed Sharingan. It saved her from the severity of the illusion and although she was left helpless and stiffened it wasn't nearly as bad as if she hadn't had her Sharingan. It saw through the illusion and made her recognize that it wasn't real.

At most, it left her in a heavy sweat, sort of traumatized, and weakened. She couldn't move and started shivering as her Sharingan deactivated. If the magenta-haired woman wanted to kill her she could, but she didn't. She decided to leave her for another day. That was good. It offered her chance to prepare for next time, so that she could beat her. But at the same time, she was still a bit crept out. Mayday's sudden sexual undertone didn't bode well with the raven-haired girl. It made her sick and feel icky just being under her.

                                Ugh..

"You're sick and twisted, and need professional help," she says repulsed.

Meanwhile, her clone continued running through the alleyway till she broke out into the street. It was clear as day. She had never seen it this clear... ever. It was sort of peaceful, to tell you the truth. It was definitely a change of pace from all the hundreds of locales and foreigners flooding the streets daily. However, she knew she couldn't ponder that now. She had to deliver the news to the Hokage and she was almost there.

Up ahead she noticed a crowd of people flooding to a nearby bar or something. She didn't particularly pay attention, but she did make eye contact with Sakkaku and Masaru briefly. They weren't people she recognized nor was she going to spend time getting to know either. They kind of just blended in with the crowd as she hopped atop a rooftop to not impede her sprint, and bolted towards the Hokage office. She sure hoped he was there or somewhere nearby because if what the real her witnessed was any indication to the events to come Mayday wouldn't be the first nor the biggest threat they would face.

Even when she sitting on top of the Uchiha, the woman manages to play it cool all the way to the end. Her comment on how twisted she was and the help Mayday needed just made her snicker a little bit. "Oh honey.." She started before leaning in to whisper in her ear. "..professionals are what made me this way." With a quick kiss on the raven haired woman's cheek, Mayday stood back and placed her arms through Naruto's jacket. Without another word, Mayday started to walk away. Her legs were still a little wobbly and her body swayed a bit, but she had to make her leave now before anyone else showed up. In a way she was going to miss that Uchiha a little bit, she sure as hell won't forget about her. After what she made Mayday turn into, being the first person to forcefully bring that out of her? That's not something she will forget. The idea of meeting her again someday made her grin a little bit to herself. Maybe those eyes will be even stronger next time, then they'll be ripe for the picking. The next thought of having those eyes made her grin a little wider, she would have so much fun with those and she knew it. Although the fight wasn't long, Mayday was surprised that nobody else showed up. Maybe they were busy getting civilians to safety while all of them thinking someone else was going to go stop her. The question of the hour was where Naruto was, he was one of the first to arrive at the prison yet he didn't show up and she came crashing in? It's off, the b*****d must be busy and doesn't know yet.

Anyways, it was time to go where she needed to. A place that was somewhat of a myth actually, nobody really knew about it, Mayday did. Even though she cheated by finding it in the prison's records, that just meant there would be much less resistance there. Mayday knew her distraction would be enough for the man with the god complex to make his move. She even managed to deplete the village's army a good amount without even trying to, so that's a plus! Also, when she received the information she needed, she would be back out in the battlefront. With her walk becoming better and her headaches depleting, Mayday decided to pick up the pace. Coming to the entrance of the Konohagakure Archives, Mayday noticed that there were no people around. Not here, and not in the areas on her way here. They were sure as hell quick in evacuating everyone, she had to admit that. With a shrug Mayday made her way down into what looked like catacombs. The area was vast and open, yet dark like a dungeon. There were no lights, it was assumed that individuals had to carry their own personal lights with them. Not having one, Mayday would venture the halls in complete darkness. Making it down the stairs and entering the Archives completely she would start to hum what sounded like a lullaby within the dark. It echoed so easily through the area so she raised her voice so that it was reach farther. Then she started to speak words, loud enough that a certain worker who was busy with her work would be able to hear faintly. "Quiet-patient-sobbing little girl. The doctor's pride and valued pearl." Her soft voice would be soothing to a child if not for the lyrics. "Who would think that she could snap? Life now gone in that mental trap!" She exclaimed, finishing a verse of her song. A dim light could be seen at the end of this long maze she stumbled into. Someone was still down here.

Mayday's eyes widened a bit with excitement, she wasn't expecting anyone to be here! Growing out one of her claws, she scratched at the walls as she made her way down. The cryptic sound of bone dragging against stone echoed out like a warning that something was coming, getting louder and louder. "Blood, blood, all around. On your face and on the ground..." Her voice was haunting now as she slowly walked closer and closer to the Archives worker in the darkness. "Red stains on the carpet, red stains on your dress. Oh little girl, you've made a mess. They all saw, and threatened to tell. So you did what you thought was right, and you killed them all as well..." Her voice seemed to cut off by the last word and then there was silence. The clawing of the wall stopped and was replaced by a light pats of her bare feet meeting the stone floor. "How unfortunate for you. To be at the wrong place, at the wrong time." Mayday's devious voice spoke to the woman working on her literature. If the woman moved her lantern to see her visitor, she would see Mayday with her head tilted to the side, her eyes slanted and glowing bright, with a small devious grin on her face. She had her right elbow on her other arm for support as her head was resting on her hand. Her index finger was tapping on her temple as she waited for the woman's response or her flee. A chase within these catacombs would surely be fun...

Time seemed to slow in the winding catacombs that curled beneath the village, and as the darkness pressed against her from all sides Sakkaku found herself glad that she wasn't the type to be frightened by the dark. No, to her the absence of light was an odd comfort, and while the silence was deafening in it's own right the purple haired woman was nonetheless comfortable in her own little cocoon of fragile parchment and swirling ink. Every breath was shallow and calm, each exhale accompanied by the brief disturbance of the dust fibers that lingered in the air nearby, and with only a single lamp to light her work Sakkaku crouched over the parchment. With her nose mere millimeters from the scroll she was so carefully working to restore she hummed a quiet tune to herself, and as her pen danced across the scrolls surface she half heard another sound slowly weaving it's way down the corridor toward her.

The voice was as soft as a whisper, as gentle as a sigh, and sounded of springtime and honeysuckle.

It was beautiful and sad and carried the calming cadence of a child's lullaby.

                                      “Quiet-patient-sobbing little girl.
The doctor's pride and valued pearl...
Who would think that she would snap?
Life now gone in that mental trap!
                                      Blood, blood, all around.
On your face and on the ground.
Red stains on the carpet, red stains on your dress,
Oh little girl, you've made a mess.
They all saw, and threatened to tell.
So you did what you thought was right, and killed them all as well.”

Sakkaku wasn't listening, not really, not completely, not entirely, so she didn't quite catch the sinister meaning hidden within the saccharine timbre. A part of her mind, the part usually drawn to such things as song and dance, nonetheless replied into the silence, an act that wasn't completely realized by the woman who whispered into the dark as she continued her deliberate scrawl.

“A silent room, a dress of lace,
A man who lived within disgrace.
He never saw it, the child so bright,
Who acted on her terrible plight.
With hands of paper, she laid to waste
those who put her in this place.
And with hands of iron, she paid her price,
There were no tears, now only ice,
and now, the men who rose at dawn,
Would scarcely know where she had gone.”

It was not uncommon for parts of her mind to wander outside her own control; the clan heads who worked tirelessly alongside the Yamanaka had made sure of that, and while the aptly named Heart Of Stone technique did have it's perks, it was fiercely unstable. It was also part of the reason why many members of the Awai clan didn't live to see their 50th birthday. It was a sad truth that the same technique made to protect the mindset of the user was ultimately the very thing that destroyed it, warping and eroding their sense of reality until they eventually snapped under the pressure of their own perfect genjutsu.

It was not a matter of if, but when.

It was only the silence created by the sudden lack of prose that drew Sakkaku from her work, and upon looking up it took her a moment to realize what it was she was seeing. A young woman, perhaps only a year or two older then she was, or perhaps a year or two younger, with bare feet and wild magenta hair drawn into loose ponytails on each side of her skull. Her head was tilted to the side as though she was observing a toy with a feral hunger that made her too-bright eyes glint like coins through the surrounding gloom. Most unmistakable, however, was the presence of the Hokage's robe that hung across her thin shoulders like a cape.

“How unfortunate for you.” the girl spoke, her voice slick and devious. The upturn of her mouth was sharp and cunning, akin to a fox who had cornered the most succulent of hens. Sakkaku felt the hairs on her arms raise in fear; her own primal reaction to the predatory sight before her, and her green eyes widened in a clear expression of shock. “To be in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Sakkaku released a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. The pen, which had previously been held with such care, dropped from her fingers and rolled off the desk to disappear into the shadows nearby.

                                      “Oh...”

                                      Oh...

In the brief moment that followed, the purple haired woman understood three things:

Even if I wanted to, no-one would hear me scream.

There is no point in running.

                                      and, finally...

                                      I am going to die.

But then Sakkaku saw the slight hunch to the smaller woman's shoulders, the blood on her hands, the dirt on her small bare feet, and the muted crows feet that added shadows to her brilliant, calculative eyes. While she was, undoubtedly, an imposing figure, the purple haired kunoichi was struck by how tiny she seemed. Just the slip of a girl who was barely a woman, with thin arms, frail looking wrists and pale skin. At once she was both hauntingly beautiful and fiercely untamed, as wild as a storm and as still as the open sea.

Of course Sakkaku knew that there was every chance her mind was playing tricks on her again, her own subconscious attempt to soften the inevitable end she currently faced. She knew this, but at this point she didn't really care. After all, this mental warping of her own reality didn't do any harm, so why not take the chance it offered to find out the cause she was going to die for?

Hey, if she was going to die for the good of the people she imagined she'd be able to come to terms with that. You know, in the afterlife. Or something. Maybe she'd be reincarnated as an animal? Oooh, perhaps a butterfly? They seemed to live happy lives, fluttering from flower to flower and enjoying the colours of spring. Or maybe she would be a bird, soaring above the clouds and building houses of twigs and mud? Yeah, that would be nice. She'd be ok with that.

                                      Ahem.

You're getting a little distracted, Sakkaku.

The purple haired woman didn't smile at Mayday, not really, but she shot a thoughtful look at the books that surrounded them as though only just realizing where it was they stood.

Jeez, Sakkkaku, you've only seen this woman for --- what? two seconds? --- and you've already written yourself off. Talk about low expectations.

I'm just being realistic. She's wearing the Hokage's robe for chrissake.

More like pessimistic. Maybe she's the leader of Naruto's biggest fanclub?

Yeah, you're probably right about my pessimism, though I doubt she's a fan.

Pfft, I'm always right. I am you, remember?

                                      Couldn't possibly forget.

"Perhaps," she amended to the other woman's earlier comment. For all intents and purposes Sakkaku sounded as though she was simply discussing the weather with someone she brought groceries from on the street. "Though I imagine you're here for something else besides offering me your company, hmm?"

Hidan

A-Rank Missing Nin (Former S-Ranked)

Company: Mayday

Current Location: Fukushu Base ---& Konoha Archives

Hidan rolled his eyes at the young Uchiha's words. Not that what she said wasn't true, but the girl acted as him and Mayday wouldn't be able to break in successfully. As he watched her leave and began to follow, he felt his arm being pulled to the side and heard his magenta-haired companion say, "Let's go Hidan!" They soon zipped past the others, but the direction they were going seemed a bit off course. As his arm was let go of, Hidan would attempt to keep up with the crazy girl as best he could, but soon she would leave his sight. The religious zealot would sigh to himself as he increased his speed some so he wouldn't fall behind. After a while, he could hear screaming and the cracking of bones. "Guess we're close," thought Hidan as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his head. Pretty soon, he could hear the sounds of pounding earth the closer he got. Then...BOOM! As he reached the edge of the forest, his eyes would widen as he caught sight of Mayday, who seemed to be half-covered in some armor, slamming herself into a giant and through the wall of the village. Hidan could only smirk as he watched his new best "friend" go into action. That and knowing how shocked that Uchiha girl might be when she realized how wrong her words earlier had been. Then as the dust settled, Hidan would cover his ears as the living dead girl let out a scream that only demons could seem to let out. "Oh, today looks like it's going to be a fun one." After a failed attempt to get the ringing out of his ears by digging his pinkies into them, he would noticed that Mayday would be gone and he could hear the screams of nearby civilians as the sounds of a bloody fight filled the air.

Noticing the two squadmates of the dead giant just standing there outside the wall looking in through the hole, he would pull out his scythe and walk up towards them. It seemed they were too awe-struck and horrified watching his friend to do anything, so the silver-haired man decided to just decapitate them in one swing. As he looked up, he could see bodies and blood flying everywhere, people scattering and running like scared animals. "No denying she's a monster. Wish I could stay and watch, but I have a job to do as well." Hidan wanted to carve up some people as well, but he also wanted to try and find a few, certain shinobis' locations. With a sigh, Hidan performed a few handsigns and summoned three shadow clones of himself. For a moment, he and his clones kind of just stared at each other as this was Hidan's very first time performing this jutsu. He wasn't surprised that he was able to do it well or had the knowledge to nor did he doubt he could do it. It just wasn't his style to perform jutsus of any kind as he liked sticking to one-on-ones and performing his rituals. But if he wanted to outsmart that Nara, he'd have to try and think like him. "One of you follow and watch Ms. Psycho over there. You other two...well, you and me are gonna give this village a good, ol' bloodbath," exclaimed the zealot excitedly as he and his clones dispersed into different directions.

As Hidan and two of his clones went on to reck havoc upon Konoha, the third clone would stick to the shadows and stay out of the way of Mayday's fun. As much as the clone wanted to join, there was a code, believe it or not, among sadists. If one is tearing up people and having fun, don't interfere. It's rude for one sadist to disrupt another's cadaver-making party. As he watched Mayday, Hidanclone would notice another shinobi had come to challenge her. This time, it appeared to be an Uchiha female and oddly enough, looked somewhat like that other Uchiha girl. As their battle ensued, Hidanclone would take this time to have some fun of his own by slaughtering nearby, innocent civilians, but kept close to where Mayday was fighting. The fight seemed intense and every now and then, Hidanclone would look over to see how things were progressing. He was surprised that the Uchiha girl was able to put up a fight against Mayday or perhaps Mayday was holding back. If she was, she might have wanted those Sharingan, but who wouldn't want one of the most powerful doujutsu? After a little bit longer, the fight seemed to have ended as quickly as it had begun. Hidanclone just got finished up slicing up a father in front of his children and wife when he hopped upon the giant skull and looked down towards the ground on the other side. It seemed that Mayday had won, not that he was surprised, but it seemed like she just got out of a foul mood. Pretty soon, the magenta-haired psycho would run off and Hidanclone would soon follow.

Dragging himself behind a bit so he wouldn't be noticed much, Hidanclone would find himself at an entrance of some sorts. As he entered and went down the stairs, he could hear the chilling voice of his friend echo throughout what seemed to be a dungeon filled with scrolls and books. "Seems to be some sort of archives or library of sorts...excellent," thought the clone as he smirked with glee. He began to sprint through the complex, looking up and down each aisle, at the bottom and top of each shelf. There seemed to be no end to the countless amount of information that was stored up in here. Finally, after rounding a corner and continuing to flip through every book and scroll, Hidanclone happened upon what seemed to be some maps of some sorts. Searching a bit more would grant the clone the information he, his fellow clones, and his original needed: The locations of the Akimichi, Yamanka, and Nara clans household. As a vicious smile creeped upon the clone's face, he would memorize the blueprints and then tuck he tucked them within his cloak and make his way further down the aisle. He would then catch a glimpse of a small light further down, to which he could only see the devilishliy glee upon Mayday's face as she looked at her next victim in the eyes.

The Uzumaki just stared at the women. Watching her move towards the wall, it would seem having kept her within the chair; wasn't such a good idea. A hide of nervousness came over him, when she had adjusted the blind fold, but hadn't taken it off. He took in a small breath, but listened quietly to her. If she hadn't killed his son, then who had? Sadness began to swell within his body. He had failed. He hadn't captured his son's murderer, he had the wrong person. It wasn't until Emi spoke again, telling him; what Sasuke had told him, days before. She was the daughter of Obito Uchiha. Yes, the one guy who had proclaimed himself as, Madara Uchiha, long ago. Who had stared the fourth ninja war. "Yes, i know very well who your father is." He replied to her. Naruto wouldn't admit it, but he had almost expected Emi to be like Obito had been. Filled with a hatred that disappeared before the male had died. Although, he should have known that everybody was different. Sure, they had some traits from their father and mother; but the children were fairly different.

Naruto blinked his blue orbs, as she spoke the reason she had came to Konoha. She was looking for some information; upon giving her that information, she would help him find his son's killer. A small hint of a smile came to his lips. "What information are you seeking?" He asked her. He was rather curious on what she was looking for. Well, he needed to know, so he could help her out, as well. His blue gaze blinked, when he heard the faint sound of someone barking orders from within the station. "You can't go in there!" The shout of the guard outside, cause Naruto to turn towards the door. Only to see it open, to see leaf anbu enter the room. A gaping hole was within the wall, created by.. Mayday. Hidan was also there. And Sarada had been fighting her. Alone. Mayday.. Prison break.. Genjutsu.. My hokage cloak! He gave a small shake of his head, as his blue orbs narrowed.

"Don't go after her. I will be there soon. Go to Sarada, and make sure she is alright. And get the citizens' to safety." He told the clone, knowing fully well, that it would be relayed back to the real body. Taking in a small breath, the Uzumaki turned to look at Emi. It was times like these, he needed everybody within the village. Moving towards the other female; Naruto reached over and pulled the blind fold from her eyes. His blue gaze was hard and business - like, yet they held a warmth to them. "You're either with or against us. The choice is your own." He told her, before walking away from her. Moving pass the anbu, he left the room. He held his hand up, so the leaf shinobi didn't close the door behind him. "Uchiha, Emi is free to leave. She committed no crime against the hidden leaf." Was all he said, before he hurried down the hall and up the stairs. Pushing open the door, he stepped into the station, and took notice to how much chaos was going on. He could hear people screaming outside, and a single shinobi barking orders to the rest of the people. Naruto gave a nod to the Shinobi in charge, before rushing out of the station. He had to go after Mayday. He was going to get his cloak back. No matter what, Believe it!

Leaving from the station, he hopped upon a roof, before his hand created hand signs. With a poof of smoke three clones appeared behind him. The male only gave a nod of his head, before those clones took off in different directions. They were going to help get the citizens' to safety. How couldn't he have not known about this..? Pushing the thoughts aside, he raced forward. The moment he jumped off the roof and his feet touched the ground, his blue orbs changed as he entered Sage Mode. As he had been running, he had been gather much nature energy. He needed to find Mayday, and fast. Sage mode, was the best way. His gaze looked around, as he took notice to the gaping hole within the wall. Damn it.. She couldn't have just used the enterance, instead of destroying the wall.. he thought, with a shake of his head. His gaze shifted over, as he took notice to Sarada. She seemed to be hurt.. No.. he knew what that was. She had been put under that genjutsu.. "Sarada!" he called out to her, before rushing over to her. Kneeling down beside her, Naruto placed a hand upon her shoulder.

"You've returned.. We'll talk about that later. We need to get you some help..' his voice trailed off, as the anbu from the cell reached them. Naruto couldn't help but smirk. "Take Sarada to the hospital, and see that she gets treated. Most likely some sort of Genjutsu. Then get started on repairing that hole. We don't need any more people seeking within Konoha." He told the Anbu, before standing up. His gaze took a look around, as he took in a breath. The archives. Hidan is with her. the voice of Kurama came within his mind. Naruto only nodded before quickly taking off, once again. This time, he wouldn't lose.

The very moment Hinata attack, the young Uchiha was ready. This was what she wanted. Keeping Hinata and her mother here, would provide Mayday and Hidan less of a problem. As long as she kept the two here. The first strike, Kiyo took head on. It wasn't until Hinata went to strike again, her Mangekyo Sharingan eye began spinning. She made no hand signs, as the strike hit her; only this time, her body exploded into crows. Much like Itachi's genjutus. The world around them, didn't change to show that the genjutsu was activated. The crows swarmed around Hinata, heading for the sky, towards a near by roof. Which where Kiyo had came to be. Blood dripped down her right cheek, revealing that her Mangekyo sharingan was her right eye. "You shouldn't be attacking so hastily. You don't know what power i possess or even how much stronger i've gotten." She spoke in a rather calm tone. The next attack had Kiyo jumping from the roof of the building rather quickly. Being as the building began to collapse beneath her feet.

Landing on her feet on the ground, her body gave a ache of pain. The first attack from Hinata had hurt like hell, but she refused to allow it to show. "You'll be too late, if you leave now, Hinata. Go if you wish, but in the end, someone will be dead by the time you arrive." She replied, a smirk coming upon her lips. She had a feeling her words would make Hinata think of the worst. Naruto was one to rush into things, it was the normal blonde. Kiyo was just hoping that Hinata and her mother would come to the same conclusion. That it was Naruto she was speaking about. That this attack was to kill Naruto, only it wasn't. It was to murder the Raikage; Karui Itakora. Who happened to be within the hidden leaf. As long as Sakura and Hinata were worried about the Hokage, it would provide Kami enough time to go searching for the Raikage. Her hands quickly formed a few signs, before going to her mouth. Her chakra flared out, going to heights that she hadn't reached before. Her lips parted, as orange and red flames escaped her mouth.

Manipulating the flames to turn into the head of a dragon; the dragon launched at Hinata. Shifting her attention back to her mother, Kiyo took in a small breath. She knew what it meant to become a criminal. Knew that it would mean fighting against the people she loved, and whom loved her. She had just had never thought it would have happened so soon. To say the least, on the outside, Kiyo looked calm and without a care in the world. On the inside, Kiyo was fighting with her own emotions. She truly wanted to stop, and just telling them everything. Tell them what she knew about this new group, and what had really happened with Ryuu. But she knew what betraying Fukushu meant. It would mean the leader seeking her out, and killing her. Kiyo knew her Uncle had lived his life as a criminal; and it was her father who had killed him in the end, just what Itachi wanted. Was this what she was doing..? Pushing the thoughts aside, she began concentrating chakra within her right hand. Within seconds, the sound of a thousand birds would fill the air.

It looked as if she was going to use the Chidori. The single attack that had killed Ryuu. Only, that wasn't the case. Having been within the hideout of Fukushu, Kiyo had been training. Had been learning many techniques, that she had only seen her father use before. It had taken her the entire week to learn just this single jutsu. She hated that this would be the first time she used it; being as it was against her mother. Her gaze was locked on Sakura, as her right hand swung out in front of her. Using shape manipulation, she turned the lightning into senbon; that were sent flying at Sakura. Much known as Chidori Senbon. "Do you really believe that you can take me on, mother?" she asked, as the lightning chakra within her right hand, faded into nothing. A hint of a smile was placed upon her lips. "Can you really put your emotions aside, and fight against your own daughter? Giving it your all?" Kiyo paused for a moment, before continuing. "In the end, if you do win, would you be able to turn me in to Naruto, knowing you wouldn't ever see me again? I'd be locked away in a prison, for the rest of the life. Could you live with that guilt of locking your own flesh in blood away?"

When the Uchiha left first, followed by Hidan and Mayday; this male let out a small sigh. This entire group was stressful as hell. Beside having to give out orders, to his members, he now had people stumbling upon this hideout. He would have to move the group some where else, if this kept on happening. These hideouts were suppose to be difficult to find, yet some how it wasn't the case. His gaze shifted over to look at Alexandria; Kami didn't say a single word, before following Mayday and Hidan out. He was still unsure on if he would truly accept them to his cause. As he left the hideout, taking a step outside,he took in a breath. He would see how the hidden leaf would react to an attack, as well as get to kill the Raikage within Konoha. It wouldn't go very well with Kumo. Being as their Kage had been killed within the hidden leaf. It would be shamed upon.. so much chaos was going to happen because of it. Kami took his leave from the hideout, moving through the forest. He stayed quite the distance behind Hidan and Mayday. Knowing that it wouldn't be such a good idea, to be seen with them. Along with them being seen with Kiyo. The distance between all of them, would make it easier, and it would help conceal them. Showing, that they all weren't all together.

Kami came to a stop just near the road, as he watched the Uchiha take out the guards by the gate. That was where himself and Alexandria would enter. His rinnged gaze watched as the Uchiha disappeared within the village. It was a few minutes later, when he heard the loud noise; knowing fully well it was Mayday. Kami had to admit, she knew how to bring everybody's attention to her. "Since you know my name, i'm sure you have many questions. Being as I am apart of the same clan, as Naruto. There is no relation between us, beside being apart of the same clan." Kami mumbled out, he was almost sure that Alexandria had followed him out. He was also sure that being as his last name was Uzumaki, it had provided many questions for her. Naruto was an Uzumaki, just as he was. Only, that was where the relation stopped. Kami planned on killing the Hokage, for the fact that, it was Naruto who had defeated his father, and Obito who had killed his mother. He would gain his revenge against the Uchiha, soon enough.

"Shall we?" He said, before stepping out onto the road that lead to Konoha. He could see many shinobi rushing to Mayday and Hidan. The distraction was set, and it was time to find Karui. Stepping into the hidden leaf, Kami couldn't help but give a shake of his head. Chaos was all around him. People were screaming out of fear, and running wild. While the leaf shinobi were trying to fight of Mayday and Hidan. Never the less, Kami moved through the streets of Konoha, in search of only one person. Everybody else, he could care less about. Nobody seemed to stop him, which was something he liked. It wasn't until he spoke quietly to a citizen, asking where the Raikage was. When the information was given to him, he simply thanked them, and went on his way. It was useless to kill a citizen at this time. Many were most likely already injured, or died during the exchange between Mayday, Hidan and the leaf already. Gray smoke caught his attention, as he leaped upon a roof. There was a fight going on in that direction. He wondered if that was where the Uchiha had gone off too.

He gave a shrug of his shoulders, before jumping off the roof, and back onto the ground. The Uzumaki made his way to the Inn that was keeping the Raikage. It wasn't all that hard to find, either. It was your normal large building, being as it was a hotel. Stepping through the front doors, he spoke to the person standing at the front desk. Quietly asking what room the Raikage was within. The person hesitated at first, but soon he got the room number. He gave the women a smile, before placing a origami bird upon the desk. Heading down the hall a little bit, his hand formed the release sign. The paper bird explode, killing the person at the desk, as well as creating a small hole within the wall. Also, tossing wood splinters around the room. After a few minutes passed, Kami found the room that was the Raikages. Placing a paper bomb on the door, he took a few steps back, before blowing up the door to the room. It wouldn't matter, any way. He was almost sure the building would be destroyed as Karui fought for her life. "Karui." He called out lightly, stepping into the room.

One word, and the realization sets in. Yes, how unfortunate for you. The little rabbit was all alone in her hole until this snake trespassed into her domain. As the pen fell to the ground and started to roll away, Mayday's eyes never left the other kunoichi's. As the pen came into the magenta haired woman's perimeter, she quickly stomped on it. In the dead of silence a loud crunch echoed through the catacombs. She twisted her foot, rubbing the pieces of the pen into the stone as well as her own foot. In the dim light a ruby red shine even complimented the pale skin of her feet, dead gorgeous in it's simplest form. And with those loving green hues widening, so did Mayday's pink and yellow ones a little. The corners of her mouth curling ever so slightly, the tension in these catacombs thickened evermore. Mayday could hear her very heart beating quicker inside her chest, just the sound of it...

                                                    ba-dumm.. ba-dumm. ba-dumm ba-dumm ba-dumm ba-dumm

The sound could have driven her mad with excitement! That raw sound, such a primitive and naturalistic song that sings within every being. Only this song was different, unique, a song that very few hearts sing in their cages. The index on her finger pressed on her temple, dragging down and lightly pulling on her skin. To relieve herself of her excitement and keep her calm, Mayday exhaled lowly maybe with the deafening silence even the other kunoichi could hear it. She knew what this woman was thinking, the pause between her words with eyes peering at the dangerous snake spoke well to Mayday. It's the realization that , at this very moment, they were looking at the face of death. At one point, we've all felt that way. Mayday has faced her death incarnate, now it was her mission to eradicate him. A ghost of her past was the very face that gave her nightmare at night. It's been her life to work towards her goal to find him, it was her purpose. She lived for this purpose, it was her meaning of life. Satisfaction would be her grave. Then the woman finally spoke, with one word. This word spoke powerfully though, maybe it was the right word to say at this given moment. With a simple word meaning so much, Mayday's sinister gaze did not shift. "Though I imagine you're here for something else besides offering me your company, hmm?"

                                                    Smart girl.

Mayday couldn't help but smirk. Her response was amusing to her, the words were dead and meaningless. That expression she had, the hairs standing on end by Mayday's appearance alone. She knew this woman was putting on a face and an expression, but her heart knew otherwise. Lowering her arms down, she started walking towards the kunoichi. With every step her hips swayed lustfully, the smoldering temptress that was approaching her kept her slanted eyes fixed on her with every move. As she walked closer to her, the green eyed woman would start to hear hearts beating everywhere around her. These weren't hearts though. No... the walls they were coming alive, making soft sounds. Like a sigh, what seemed like the last layers of human skin were growing in the walls. The soft sound was partly due to the dermis separating from the underlying connective tissue to crawl the vertical planes and generate itself more layers. Mayday was coming close to her now, leaving her presence and nonthreatening show to become more threatening. "Threats won't be necessary will they?" Her soft voice asked. She was now only six feet in front of her, every step she took brought more light to her vibrant appearance. Bending forward to meet the level of the kunoichi's face as she was sitting. With her voice merely inches from the other, Mayday could feel the breath of the woman hitting her chest. "You're going to take me to the information I need." Her command was soothing, devious, and powerful all at once. She tilted her head to the other side in a playful manner. "Treachery only brings difficulty." Her voice was dripping with venom now, these four words were the only ones needed to get her point across.

Mayday knew that the information she need was not only confidential, but would be extremely difficult to find in these catacombs. The very thing she needed was right in front of her: A Pathfinder. As she waited for an answer, the pulsating walls around them would swallow the sounds of their very own hearts beating. She would keep her face so close to the other one's and in a way trapping her from any thoughts of freedom. Stripping away the fibers of critical thinking was something sort of a specialty for the magenta haired woman. If there was one thing she was good at, it was making someone uneasy. Which is very ironic given the fact that in appearance Mayday was bright, colorful, and vibrant. With this her personality was alluring yet disturbing, lustful yet dangerous. She was a beautiful disaster and nobody has yet to stop her in her tracks. This... creature was of something science and and psychologists could not explain and yet here she was making a mess of the world. It was our demons that kill us in the end, and this demon was looking for her death incarnate. In a philosophical standpoint this damned soul was searching for the reaper that dragged her into hell. Hell being the shattered and twisted mind that caused her to die every single day. A drop of humanity was something she was searching for and yet, it only angered her. It was said before, satisfaction would be her grave. She was a damned being searching and craving for that which will kill her in the end.

                                                    But she could stop.

                                                    She won't.

Whether Mayday realized it or not Sakkaku was very carefully avoiding staring into her eyes for too long. As a genjutsu specialist who had grown up surrounded by stories of unbreakable illusions and mind-shattering hallucinations that could be activated through sight, it was only natural that the purple haired woman was wary of maintaining eye contact for extended periods of time. This often gave the impression that she was shy despite the clear indications that she was anything but, but even so... Sakkaku was willing to admit at this moment she found herself feeling timid beneath the watchful gaze of her assailant.

She watched as skin began to spiral out across the ground and walls, the dermis forming layers that spread beyond her line of sight, twisting toward the ceiling and encompassing the bookcases behind connective tissue and arteries that thrummed with a single, fathomless heartbeat. The sound reverberated through her skin and down into her remaining toes in a staccato pulse, leaving her feeling oddly calm as the steady rhythm pressed against her eardrums.

“Threats won't be necessary, will they?”

Sakkaku looked to Mayday, who continued, “You're going to take me to the information I need.”

                                      Of course.

                                      “Treachery only brings difficulty.”

Sakkaku released a series of breaths, each one deeper and slower then the one that preceded it, the soft puffs of air fanning out against Mayday's skin to cool the sweat that may have lingered there, before slowly rising from her seated position to stand before Mayday. Not that she was upright the purple haired woman was a good head taller than her smaller counterpart, but no difference in height would change their vastly different positions. Mayday was still, though small and lithe, clearly the one who held the power in this environment; Sakkaku had no other choice but to tread the path laid before her with hopes that she would not stumble.

Still, the steady heartbeat that surrounded her offered her some sense of calm, and with an upturn of her chin Sakkaku finally met and held Mayday's gaze. Though the she was mostly unremarkable in her appearance, her face baring the usual combination of features that made her pretty but not beautiful, her eyes were unmistakably deep. The moss green of her irises bore into all they observed and their depths drew anybody who happened to gaze too long into cavernous tones were they risked becoming trapped forever. This was no trick of the light or wishful thinking, however, but carefully manufactured genetics designed to draw people in and trap them where they stood. And to think that such a thing was possible without anybody noticing it was happening in the first place. If they did notice, if ever they somehow managed such a feat, it would already be far too late...

(eyes that drew you in, that promised, that cooled your skin on a hot summers day and warmed your bones during the coldest of winters. They invited, they provoked, they induced, they aroused and they tempted. All you needed to do was stare a little bit longer...)

With a slow blink, however, the unmistakable pull was broken, and the corner of Sakkaku's lip twitched upwards into an odd sort of smile. In that instant she went from a woman with bewitching eyes to an everyday librarian, dressed in a plain uniform with her hands stained by ink. All she needed to complete the look was a pair of glasses and a name tag. Oh well.

“I take it you had a particular subject in mind?”

In another world, the quirk of her eyebrow would have been almost teasing.

                                      Almost.

In an attempt to keep whatever mangled piece of dignity he had intact, Keitaro decided to crank up his acting dial a notch. Under any other circumstance, the thief would have been booking it by now, but alas he could not without some form of consequence, whether it was by the Fukushu for abandoning his post or by the works of some internal force. The experience of sticking around in a time of crisis was definitely new to him and he wasn't quite sure how to act. Cowardice was the only thing he knew for so long, but now there was this sensation of wanting to protect something...

                                                  ... or someone.

Keitaro eased up after the clone's words of reassurance. He felt only a tinge of relief come over him, but at the same time he couldn't completely believe her. Something in his gut told him it was little more than the ANBU could handle. You'd think the masses would have been a bit calmer if the ANBU really had everything under control. Though his heart was racing the most rapid it had in years, Keitaro tried his hardest to retain a semi-collected exterior.

"We'll head towards the closest bomb shelter. There's one just around the corner beneath the coffee stall, we'll be safe there."

Keitaro's lips parted as though he wanted to speak, however he remained silent. As Sakkaku began to weave her way through the crowd, Keitaro followed shortly after. More and more of the panicked civilians continued to push past and cut through them, causing Keitaro to slow considerably as Sakakku continued on ahead. He pushed back against the current of hysteria, grunting in slight irritation as they only relentlessly pushed back. Finally drawing closer to the purple-haired woman, Keitaro began to extend a hand towards her, and just as quickly met with her own grasp. A warm, tingling sensation struck his face, though he quickly pushed it to the back of his mind. Now together, the two weaved their way through the roaring crowd all while getting pushed and shoved by others who were just as eager to escape, if not more. He felt a reassuring squeeze on his wrist as he met Sakkaku's gaze. Her lips moved, though he couldn't make out a thing she said through the uproar. Regardless, he smiled faintly at her.

What could be the cause of all this?

His stomach lurched at the thought. He's never exactly been what you'd call "moral," though he drew a line when it came to physically harming someone, unless of course it was in self-defense and running away wasn't an option. He was a criminal, but not that kind of criminal.

Keitaro gazed back if only for a second. All he could see were masses of frightened people for what he assumed to be miles. With his eyes darting forward, he finally caught sight of what looked to be the coffee stall Sakkaku was talking about. Focused eyes locked down onto the stall as he prepared to merge straight through the ever-flowing horde into it.

"I think I see it up ahead." he said as loudly as he could, lightly tugging his arm in its direction.

It didn't take long for the pair to be swept into the bunker, which was really more of a basement that had been kitted out with the essentials; a row of bunk beds, some extra mattresses, some chairs, a table, and a cupboard that masqueraded as a pantry full of canned goods and bottled water. The room itself was reasonably large, but the frightened crowd that had piled in made it seem much less like a basement and more like an overcrowded broom closet. As people jostled to get comfortable within the newly confined space Sakkaclone pulled Masaru towards one of the bunks, managing to steal away some seating space for the two of them as the hubbub slowly began to fade and the crowd gradually began to calm.

She smiled at the blonde, running her thumb across his knuckes in a reassuring manner, and gently bumped against his side. “We made it.”

All in all there would have been about sixty people down there in the basement, give or take a few, and already the children were beginning to branch off into their own little group so that they could chatter about what they had seen. The more senior members of the public simply found a seat, some curling up on the floor in order to get more comfortable on cushions offered by those who had managed to find a chair, while others settled for standing with their weight against the wall, arms crossed over their chests as they looked at the ceiling as though searching for cracks in the structure.

A small family group on the other side of the room caught Sakkaclone's eye, and without hesitation she waved at the man who sat with his wife and children. The man, with his dark purple hair and kind face, brightened up instantly despite the general gloom that was beginning to settle over the room, and waved back enthusiastically. His wife, a young woman with brown hair and the telltale marks of an Inuzuka, simply offered a subdued nod before returning to comforting her children; a young girl of about six, and a small boy of four, who upon spotting his purple haired aunt had toddled across the room straight into Sakkaclone's waiting arms.

Smiling, Sakkaclone pressed a kiss against the boy's brown hair, and then peppered his face with similar affections until the he finally giggled and hid his face in the crook of her neck. The young kunoichi pulled her nephew onto her lap and held him close, and only once he had made himself comfortable did the child finally peer at Masaru, a look of questioning clear on his bright, freckled face. Somehow, through some odd marvel of nature, or perhaps because of some subconscious desire to offer a more physical connection at this stressful time, the purple haired woman had remained hand in hand with Masaru, her fingertips gently tickling his palm through the wrappings.

“That,” Sakkaclone said to Masaru as the young boy hid his face in her hair. “Is my brother, Seigi, his wife, Tsumeko, and their daughter, Kaoru. And this---”

She pressed her face into the boy's hair, taking a moment to make exaggerated omnomnomnomnomnom noises until the boy giggled again, before pulling back and grinning proudly at her male companion. “Is my cheeky monkey, Hibiki.”

The aptly named Hibiki smiled shyly at Masaru. Though he didn't speak the dimples that appeared on his freckled cheeks were earnest, and with that done he settled down to play with Sakkaku's hair, gently tugging the purple tresses into various shapes and watching as the ends curled around his fingers.

                                      “Hibiki, this is Masaru.”

Finally the boy spoke, and in that moment revealed that he was missing his two front teeth. “Lo 'Salu”

That said Hibiki returned his attention to Sakkaclone's hair, and after a moment of careful consideration decided that the best course of action was to begin chewing on the ends, which he began to do so only after making sure he was nestled comfortably against his aunt's chest. Clearly the young boy was preparing to have a nice siesta, and within moments his chewing began to slow as he fell into a light doze, his head tucked soundly beneath her chin. Either unbothered or completely unaware that her hair was being treated like a big bowl of hairball-inducing spaghetti, Sakkaclone shrugged a shoulder and made herself more comfortable.

Hey, if ever there was a great place to have an impromptu cuddle with a stranger, you'd be hard pressed to find anything more suitable than this crowded basement-gone-bunker.

"If you want to get technical you would say half-brother, buuuuuut I don't think it really matters. All blood is the same, as they say, no matter where it comes from."

Sakkaclone paused, and then smiled, her lips curling upwards into a smirk as she looked at Masaru from the corner of her eye.

"I guess this wasn't what you had in mind when you decided to come to Konoha for your holiday, huh?"

Jonin Medic Ninja

”SoulSuccubus”
Kiyo

Sakura grits her teeth as she pulls out a kunai from her pocket and charges into the senbons, bracing herself for the shock that came from deflecting one. Hinata dodges the dragon and turns to look at Sakura but the medic ninja shouts for her to move on. “Forget about me. Go to Naruto. He needs you!” Sakura can’t spare a glance at her friend so she can’t see the nod; her feet are too busy dodging the lightning bolts being shot at her.

Finally, the bolts run out and when Sakura looks up the two of them are alone. “Kiyo,” she shouts her daughter’s name angrily. Why was she doing this? What is she thinking? Sakura questions the Uchiha’s actions, trying to understand her daughter’s actions and yet, when staring at the changes she’s gone through, she knows understanding is pointless. Just like Sarada, she thinks on a bitter note.

Kiyo responds to her, questioning her mother’s ability to fight one of her children. The two are about to go into battle, and Kiyo paints out the possible futures. If Sakura were to win, that would mean never seeing Kiyo again nor would she ever be free. Being one of Naruto’s close friends meant she knew what happens to traitors—especially those that harm the Hokage’s child. And yet, losing would mean to lose her daughter forever. Neither option seem favorable.

Sakura drops her fighting stance, allowing her bright green eyes to stare into her daughter’s eerie red ones. “You’re right,” Sakura confesses. The pink-haired ninja lets out a heavy sigh and bunches her eyebrows as she continues. “Fighting you will bring me an unlimited amount of pain, physically and emotionally. If I were to win, the guilt would surely kill me!” With tears in her eyes, Sakura calls out to her daughter one last time. “Kiyo! I don’t understand why it has come to this, but always remember this! Your mother will always love you and be there for you—even if you don’t want me to be.” Still, she believes her daughter must still be inside of the person before her!

                                                And yet…

But if you don’t stop, we will fight.” Sakura picks her head up, revealing the Yin Seal Release! Ninja Art, Genesis Rebirth. “So long as I breathe, I will protect our home so you can always have a place to return.” Sakura smiles at her daughter, showing her conviction and determination. Sakura had made the mistake years ago, giving up on Sasuke instead of being strong—like Naruto. Taking on a fighting stance, Sakura’s smile vanishes and she slips into a defensive stance.

The first move would be Kiyo’s.
