In the deep caves, lies a hidden laboratory in the Forgotten City. On one knows that there is anything living there. Nel Hambridge, a scientist working there days and night not resting. Only rested when she needed too. She was going through some papers and research work, checking computer datas, jotting down notes, and other things. Once she was done, she left to another room. There were many doors that had a lot of useful things in each of the rooms. She stopped at room D-R5. Pressing the password on the buttons on the wall in order to open for it to open. The password was correct, the door slide open letting her in.

Nel went inside, the door closed behind her. She walked into a cold ice coffin and removed the cover. There was a girl sleeping in there with colors of wires attached to her body from head to toe. The monitors and computers were keep track of her life energy. "Soon, you'll bring the most powerful being into this world," she said touch her chin. "We failed once with Kadaj and them. This time things will change," Nel closed the cover of the ice coffin. She walked to the wall with notes and pictures of the girl. "Computer," she called out.

Yes, Nel? it responded to her.

Open door number MONTR # 456 (MONTR = Monster," she clicked on a button on her watch. Computer screens appears in front of her.

Yes, MONTR# 456 opened,"

Weird looking creatures were in there. They looked sort of huge, like the size of a oxen, but a sabertooth-tiger. It has faces of Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. Cloud strife picture appeared on the screen.

"Make sure he's dead," Nel said with her arms crossed.

"How many times must my heart break?"
Aoi stared up at the sky, her head resting on the outside walk of her house and limbs akimbo. It was one of her moods, one where she found herself doing far from her brian. It had been years since her heart ached at the parting of Sephiroth by Clouds hands again. Yet the ache began again and her sight went into tunnel vision, pulling her into the collection of pictures that flew past her till she landed in what looked like a movie theatre. The big screen playing out the future in front of her. Her body soon was a part of the action, caught up in the flow of what the life stream was trying to tell her. Then she was back down to Earth, her heart racing and breathing fast.

There was a pause, hand frozen on her cheek as she gathered what the pictures were and the event soon to be. She flew from her spot, cartwheeling to her armory and the doors were thrown open. Yes, she would have to try to change the future, what it told her was going to happen, her blood sang the forever link to the life stream. She grabbed her staff, and the twin blade's, Masa and Mune. Their gold inlaid hilts and sheath's gleamed in the sunlight as she fastened them behind her lower back and the staff's white gold shrank along with the blue orbs to that of pendent size. Aoi fastened it to her belt. She closed the doors and locked them. Her eyes stared at her workshop, they were empty and with a mental shake, dashed to the shrines entrance.

A tired hand reached across the bed searching for a phone. Patting around with no luck, Reno finally decided to sit up tiredly and looked around for that phone of his. But he couldn't find it. Where was his phone? He could waste time looking for it because his clock clearly said seven thirty and he was going to be late for work.

"Ah... I can find that thing later."

He said throwing his blanket on the ground and walking into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and washed his face and got out after a good five minutes. He changed into his working outfit and soon headed off to the company, where he worked at, and skipped breakfast. When he arrived at the headquarter, he could see Rude who was standing straight and guarding the front door.

"Hey buddy!"

Reno said patting his back before entering into the building. Rude just gave him a simple nodded and an effortless grunt. It sucked that Reno was working outside now, and Reno was instructed to work inside. He couldn't hang with his buddy much anymore. But that was no problem though.

They always get assigned for the same missions out of the Shinra company. That was a good thing. But it was a good thing that they were not working together as much because lately he has started to learn about depending on himself rather than a partner or someone else. He walked into Shinra's room and sat down on the couch with his feet on the table.

He knew that his boss did not like that but heck he didn't care. The worst his boss could do to him was scold him and assign an assignment that he didn't like to do and that was working with all the brand new turks.

"What did you have in store for me boss?"

He asked as he laid his head back on the couch and stared at the ceiling not really paying any attention to his boss. The guy that was always by his boss' side came up to his and slapped his feet off the table and harshly dropped the paper on his lap. He looked at it and just scoffed.

"Okay okay okay I get it dad... Oh... I mean boss."

He said snickering as he stood up and left to the training room. He exit his work place and got into a helicopter that Shinra had provided and flew off to Seventh Heaven. Once he got there, he turned the engine off and got out. As usual there were people outside the bar.

Taking a deep breath the brunette stretched her arms high above her head as she sat on her bed, her eyes slowly adjusting as she glanced around a bit. Nothing had changed, it was just another day, missing people she loved. Glancing at the picture of her mother she smiled, "Morning mother.." Her voice was gentle as she got to her feet and changed into her normal outfit of the white-blue dress, braiding her hair she tied the pink ribbon Zack had gotten her a while back, a smile on her lips. "Morning, Zack.." She knew he was gone, but he was someone special to him and sometimes she feels like maybe, just maybe he would hear here wherever he was.

Grabbing her basket she quickly headed out of her home in the slums towards the church, she would pick more flowers then head to Midgar to try and sell them, hopefully she could manage to sell them all. Hearing and feeling her stomach grumble for food she patted it with her free hand, she would have to buy an apple or something to tide her over for the time being.

Reaching the curse she pushed one of the doors open and stepped inside, nothing had changed from yesterday, was it bad she just wished Zack would fall through the church roof again, but that wasn't going to happen. Ah she was being so depressing, that wouldn't do she had to live happily for Zack, well he wouldn't like her being anything but herself. Kneeling down beside the flowers she slowly began to pick them and gently pile them in her basket until it was full, then she got to her feet and headed out of the church and towards the way up to upper Midgar.



After a bit of a longer walk she made it to the surface and walked out of a side street her eyes scanning the people as she put on her brightest smile, "Flowers for sale" She called out slightly, some ignored her, others turned to look and some even approached her to take a look at her flowers, some bought a few. "Thank you" Slipping the gil into her pouch she continued to call out and even offered single flowers to young children for free, kids were just too adorable to resist. Which reminded her, how was Marlene and Denzel doing she wondered.. She walked in the direction of Cloud and Tifa's bar slowly, but mainly focused on selling her flowers, making sure to save a few for her friends.

Aerith stretched her arms over her head squeezing her eyes shut while doing so and when she opened her eyes everything was gone Midgar was no longer there it was all a dream from her memories, she was still within the life stream. Her legs wobbled as she collapsed to her knees as she just stared into the life stream wishing she could live again with her friends even being here she had not seen Zack..

Aoi locked the doors to the shrine, her eyes remaining empty upon her workshop as the wooden panal closed. On top of a key lock and a combination lock, Aoi placed a seal on the door, it was in aincient writing that only her bloodline could read and decifer. She attached her white cape at the left shoulder strap then at the right hip. She had to keep her home safe and all the precautions went straight down to the White and Blue Materia orbs that generated a barrier around the house. They were amplified using one of her spell's, since then, the shrine has never been touched by war and time.

The question was, where should she begin? The shrine was set inbetween Old Midgar and New Midgar, it was on either side she could chose, if only her dear friend was here. Her very and only dear friend, Aerith. Aerith could shine a little more light on her heavy heart and she leaned on her since she closed her workshop doors. So many years had passed. Aoi looked towards the left, she needed to speak to Cloud and Tifa, either if they belive or not, she would go ahead and try to change the future and one heart.

In the lifestream, Zack was battling with Angeal. As a true hero he was. He ran across the field holding his Buster Blade going towards him. The two weapons came together crossing one sword on the other. It came to be a tie with the two of them. "See Angeal! I am a hero!" he called out and threw his hands up into the air. Angeal laughed at him always calling him, Zack the Puppy. Zack sometime felt a bit embarrassed hearing that. "Hey!" he said lightly punching Angeal on his shoulder. Zack put his sword behind his back that clicked onto his strap, which was attached to his outfit. For a bit, he wondered where Aries went. He haven't seen her since a week ago. Thinking about it, he wonder how things were going in the real world ever since the day he left earth.

xxxxxxxx Cloud returned back to 7th Heaven after he made his second to the last delivery in Triet. He parked his motor bike out in the front. He turned off the engine and removed his goggles away. He got off of his bike and on his two feet. He took out his black cell phone out and flipped it open to check if he had any missed called, voice mails, or text messages from Tifa and the others. The wind blew across his face and making it way through his blonde hair. He tired to put on a straight face with a smile, but doesn't work that way anymore ever since that day back when he was still a soldier training under Shinra. Memories of Zack flashed in his head. He snapped out of it. Can sins ever be forgiven? He would always ask that himself. Only one last package left, he went inside the bar and went up the stairs. Tifa, Marlene, and Denzel were not in sight. This would be a get away for him. Seeing them makes him feel guilty for not spending or seeing them often.

xxxxxxxx Cloud saw the package on the table where Tifa had put a note telling him where this one to deliver to. He slowly grabbed the package and left downstairs once again. Opened the door and locked the door. He walked over to his motorbike and wrapped his arms around the box pressed against his waist side. Started his engine, Cloud heard a helicopter noise coming from about him. He quickly turned his head and saw the thing. The helicopter landed down right beside Cloud as his head movement followed the big object. "What the hell." he said wondering what this thing was doing here. He wondered who it was. Once he saw a red head sticking out the helicopter, he knew for a fact that it was Reno. Cloud looked at Reno when he came out and thought it wasn't important. Knowing Reno, Cloud had no interest in hearing what Reno had to say.

Zack made his way through the streets. The lifestream was similar to real world where he once was alive. Living in the lifestream was peaceful, no wars, and nothing could go wrong here. He liked here. Where he can see his friends and other people that had lived once and now resting in peace in the lifestream with him. He promised Angeal and Genesis that they will battle each other again. He looked every where for Aries. Not sure where she would be. Since she liked flowers, maybe she'll be in someplace that is filled with flowers.

With his arms both crossed over one another, Zack started to whistle a song and nodded his head while he whistled. All of the sudden he saw Aries on her knees. In shocked, he broke his arms free and sighed."Aries!" he yelled out worried. He quickly ran to her. He ran in front of her and squat down on both of his fee t wondering what happened to her. "Hey!" he started. "Are you okay?" he asked her. He hoped it was nothing bad. He put both of his hands on her shoulders titled his head a bit closer to hers.

Aoi got halfway through New Midgar, on the way to 7th Heaven but she had to ask for directions, she had never been there, Cloud or Tifa delivered the food and suplies she needed for the month. Denzel and Marlene visited her now or then but, Aoi never really called them her friends. She was alerted by a helicopter flying over head and landing nearby, in the direction she was going but a fathomsome symbol in red caught her eye, "ShinRa." She took off running.


Upon nearing the copter that had landed, she spotted Cloud, Mr. Chocobo himself, it was her way of mentaly teasing him in her mind. Aoi skidded to a stop just behind and to the left of Cloud, some yards away. But they looked at her anyway and nodded to her. Aoi kept her glare at the symbol on the copter. She had been taught to live alongside Earth and the Life Stream and it will take care of you but she could never forgive ShinRa for useing the Life Stream for its own means of gain so everybody else could have cushy-like life style. 'Stupid Turk of a Monkey.' Aoi barely could remember Reno but its how she nicknamed him.

It had been a late night of working on a new mechanical device for Reeve, something similar to Cait Sith but something a little more powerful and all in all useful. She had been tinkering with ‘Project Inu-Sith’ or as she called him “Demon” for some time now, adjusting and developing advanced intelligence that didn’t need a human on the other end controlling it. At first Angeline had started working on a full machine, but as she was out on a mission she ran across a wounded wolf that was on the brink of death. In a brash decision the young woman whisked the animal to her lab, together she and Reeve had inserted the mechanical devices she had been working on into the poor creature hoping to save his life. They had succeeded in their attempt to save the dark wolf, the animal had come back from the other side of deaths threshold and knew it. The animal shown gratification and became a pet to the young woman, so she named him Demon and would do some adjustments to his mechanical parts. Then just a few months later she ran across another wolf, a red one in the same predicament so she once more done the surgery to save it’s life. Again, another successful implant and she named this red wolf Ren. Running across another scientist of the WRO Angeline raised a weary hand with Demon and Ren on her heals. The man asked if she had any success with advancement and she nodded a little. “Yeah, they can take in Materia without any side-effects now… I can also add armor pieces that boost their abilities.” Raising her arms above her head in a stretching motion she stuffed a yawn. “We’ll we’re off to bed, good luck with your blaster.” She said before heading to the bedroom with her partners.

It didn’t take long for Angeline to fall asleep once her head hit the pillow. Dreaming she went back almost ten years into her past, sitting on the roof of her parent’s home in Gongaga watching the Mako reactor day dreaming of become a Soldier. Next to her was her childhood friend Zack, a wonderfully high spirited slightly older young man who shared her dreams of becoming a Hero. They chatted and laughed, had lunch and went to start training. Her dream seemed perfect, training with the only real friend she had known, careless and young. The dream shifted again and she was standing on a rock formation overlooking Midgar, she was alone for the moment but could feel that her friend was near. Then suddenly her dream turned dark, clouded and rainy. Angeline turned around looking back and Zack was far from her but there was no mistaking the males eyes, he was standing off with Shinra ground troops. She had started to yell out for her friend to turn around and take off but he didn’t move so she started to run after him. It happened quickly and her friend fell to the ground, in the dream she let out a scream. Angeline jolted awake still yelling out for her friend to stay alive but she was alone with Demon in her quarters in the WRO station. There was a weight on top of her, with a few soft whines as she was breathing rapidly getting her eyes adjusted, then two warm tongues ran across her cheeks removing the stream of tears that had started stream down her face. “Oh Demon… Ren... He was a Hero…” The young woman wrapped her arms around the wolves and buried her face into their furs. “Yes. Yes he was. He was a great hero, just like you are too.” Said the dark wolf restinghis head on the girls shoulder. “All we can do for his memory is live in a style he would be proud of.” The red wolf said in a gruff but wise voice. That was one thing that she hid from everyone but Reeve but they were right. After a while Angeline fell asleep again with Demon and Ren on each of her sides, this time she had a dream about Zack again- but he was in a peaceful world, these are what her dreams about him normally were like. He was with a young woman, happy and loving his training with another male.

This time when Angeline woke up she sighed happily, she couldn’t be sure but she was willing to bet that what she seen was Zack’s life in the lifestream. Two years ago she wouldn’t have been caught dead working for Shinra, WRO was financed by ‘silent partners’ but she knew that Rufus Shinra was the one funding it to repent for his sins to the planet. Granted she wasn’t one hundred percent sold that he was out for the greater good of the world but she would help the people in any way she could. At the moment she would have to go find Reeve and find out what her assignment was for the day, hopefully she would be let loose to go have her way with the day. Angeline jumped into the shower, fifteen minutes later she emerged from the bathroom and got dressed. Downing a pair of black and crimson leather pants, a leather corset with the same colors that was over a black tank, black and crimson sleeves and shin-high ‘military style’ boots with a two inch heels that were thick- not spiked. Finishing her look with several belts of red, crimson and black along with her leather jacket she looked at herself in the mirror as she finished pulling up her currently crimson hair into a pony tail. The jacket was base black leather with embroidered wolves, dragons and phoenixes in red, crimson, shades of blue and purple accented it as well. With everything in place Angeline slid two wrist daggers from their place on her side shelf and placed them on the belt clips on her outer thighs, the long katana she left standing next to her shelf next to ‘Heaven Justice’. If she needed them she could summon them. Before leaving the room she grabbed her ‘dog tags’ and dropped them over her head so that they would rest on her chest.

So with that all done Angeline walked out of her living quarters and headed down the winding halls of the WRO building with Ren and Demon following close behind. Entering her only ‘boss’s office she glanced around, it was empty. But sitting on the desk where her boss normally sat was a note. Briskly walking over to it she grabbed it and took a moment to read it, it was for her. All it said was go check on Cloud. Great, she would have to go hunt down the emotional train wreck and check up on him for Reeve, apparently a phone call would not suffice. With a sigh she started outside, “Looks like we’re off to Midgar boys…” She wasn’t too pleased with going to the city that held tons of people but she wasn’t going to complain too much. Once outside Angeline headed for where she parked her vehicle. A motorcycle with two extra seats in the back sat under a large tree, as she approached she snapped her fingers and a small flame emitted from her fingers and her two weapons she had left in her room appeared and she quickly stashed them in side compartments. She got on, removed the goggles from the handlebars and started her ride, Demon and Reno both jumped on and she secured them along with a set of goggles each as well then was off to Midgar in a blur of speed. Soon enough she reached the city limits, slowed down a little but was making her way to 7th Heaven Bar in haste. Hopefully she would find Cloud being friendlier than the other few times she had run across him. She knew that he was friends with her childhood friend before he died but he didn’t seem to like talking about him.

Vincent looked at the sunlight that shined outside the dark cave. Then again he'll spend at least a couple of hours in there guarding Lucrecia's capsule. From time to time the capsule was getting dusty. He removed the dusts with his cape. It was time for his training. He took one last look at her and walked outside where the metal door closed behind him and the code box moved it self to the bottom of the ground where no one could go in when he's not there. He took out his gun and started shooting from behind and made some back flip stunts to shoot at the targets. After an hour of training he cape formed around him and traveled to the lab of Hojo's for some more of his research.

Nel turned off her wrist watch as the data screens disappeared in thin air. She turned around looking at the girl that was in a somewhat comma. Walking next to the girl, Nel can hear her talking in her sleep and sometimes she would be in pain. Nel walked over to her trying to re-fix the wire and putting new ones on Alice. She took the yellow clipboard and jolt down some stuff. "Alice, you should be waking up anytime now," Nel whispered. She wondering how this reviving Sephiroth would work. Knowing how he is, his plans always never fail unless Cloud is dead. The reason why her whole entire family was wiped out by Shinra and his troops, Cloud Strife.

Nel exist the room punching in the number to lock the door in case Alice wakes up and leaves. She made her way through the hallway to the kitchen. Once she opened the fridge, it was empty. She forgot about food shopping the other day. She was probably still working like always. "I guess, groceries shopping it is," Nel went to the front where the door was and grabbed her white coat. She pressed the yellow button as the door slide opened leading an entrance out the cave. The door closed behind her once she passed the limit away from the door. Next to her right, the cave walls slid open and slid her motorcycle out to her side. She hopped on it and drove out of the cave making sure no one was outside. She made her way to Midgar which was the closest city near her.

Her body trembled slightly, the lifestream made everything seem so real, Aerith was no longer living nor would she ever be again. But she could only pray that her friends were doing well and would live long lives, but she couldn't help but worry about them. Letting out a small sigh she shifted a bit before hearing her name be called, frowning slightly she glanced around before spotting Zack, her eyes wide as he approached her and kneeled infront of her. Squeezing her eyes shut she re-opened them to make sure he was still there, "The lifestream has never shown me you before.. Are you real?" She wouldn't allow herself to be excited and happy to see this man again if he was just going to dissapear on her like everything else did.

Raising her hand she pinched Zack's cheek slightly and smiled when he didn't dissapear and could tell he was as real as he could be within the lifestream. "It really is you, Zack.. I missed you" She leaned her forehead against his and kept herself from crying, looking up a bit at him she nodded her head "I'm fine now, You're here" She glanced around a bit, "I think I may need help to me feet though, it seems my legs don't want to let me stand" Brushing her hair from her face before attempting to stand but her legs seemed locked in their position and wouldn't move.

"Not good not good!"A youth boy ran down the street with two winged creatures chasing after him. Everyday was like this. He went outside of the city of Midgar but the winged creatures were quite easy to irritate. It never failed that they chased the poor boy. San ran down the street and jumped, running along the building and kicked off of it, twirling and pulling out a pistol, letting off a few rounds at one of them, the bullet hitting one's head and dropping it out of the sky."Bullseye!"He said and landed, rolling forward and running from the other one, pushing people out of the way. He had an opening and took it, scampering up a streetlight and kicked off towards the monster, unleashing a furious serious of slashes before he drew a pistol and shot, landing to the ground and the creature dropped, dropping a dark green sphere. He walked over and picked it up, looking at it."HA! Lucky me, I got a Materia!"He said, grinning and pocketed it, going on his way down the street and ran up towards the 7th heaven bar, entering and greeted the people inside.

Nel entered the pathway to the opening of Midgar. She stopped at the red light and when it turned green, she proceed her way to the food market. Parked her motorcycle and left inside the store pushing a green cart with her. The smell of fresh food was a nice smell, unlike her lab that was always stuffy and hot air floating around. Nel went down all the aisle to get what she needed. Finally the last item, walking to the register and out the store. Finding where she parked, Nel looked at her surroundings to see if there was any Turks around. If she did saw one, this means get out of here ASAP! She stopped behind her bike, took out her keys pressing the red button. The back of the motorcycle popped opened. She put her two brown groceries inside and closed the clutch tight. Back on her bike and into the streets.

Nel came behind a tall building in Midgar. "Perfect,"
she said to herself and smirked taking off her white long sleeve shirt and placed into the seat of her motorbike. She put on a long black cloak around her. Grabbed the hood of the cloak, putting it over her head which had a mask attached to it. She pulled the mask to make it fit her eyes covering half of her face. Taking one step back, she leaped into the air all the way to the top of the building landing on her feet softly. She walked to the edge of the roof looking for something. Turning her back and forth like a bird searching for it prey incessant. Suddenly she stopped, "Bingo."

She clicked on her watch on her wrist. The computer screens appeared in front of her. She typed on the green keyboard that appeared right front of her. She clicked enter, Cloud Strife's picture appeared with all his information. Once she was done, the screen disappeared. Standing there with her two feet eager to run on thin air, she raised right hand into the air as her black cape danced along with the wind. Black bubbles appeared out of the cement on the rooftop. As these creatures popped out of the bubbles. There were dozens of them. The creatures were hideous looking monsters.

"Make sure Cloud Strife is dead. Kill anyone who interferes," she said and snapped her fingers. Sooner of later, the monsters she released earlier had been called off to go to HOJO's abandon laboratory. Nel crossed her arms once the monsters ran and jumped off the buildings. The creatures started hopping to buildings to building. Other running on the streets heading to their target. More creature appeared more behind Nel's back. They remain there until she gave them orders. Creatures started to roam around scaring citizens. People started screaming and running for their lives looking for a safe place. Up ahead of the leader of the creature, it finally located and reached Cloud with it's saliva dripping down out of it mouth.
