Alexa took her friend's things to the assigned room, setting them up carefully and making sure everything was steady. She went to where her friend was and borrowed some water and a cloth to wash the paint off her face. She giggled a little, looking up at her friend. She smoothed her hair down with water.
"Ready?" she asked with a bright smile. "Actually, I'm going to change, you can come to the estate with me if you want." she offered. There was a little paint and a lot of dirt on her armour from the caverns. "I don't want to go looking like this." she said sheepishly. A faint blush painted her cheeks and she twirled away from the wolf, covering her face.
Fenris sat back and listened to the tale the dwarf spun. He had a way with the ladies, he had to admit. Many women showed interest in Fenris, but none of them held his interest, and he certainly didn't wish to be intimate with them. He knew Varric was faithful to Bianca, but there were many women who wished it was not so. Varric had commented once that he wasn't "into humans", so he often wondered why he did not seek out a woman in the dwarven merchant's district, and finally he asked him and he replied, "I don't want to be a merchant or a book keeper, and I have don't have a choice in the manner, I do, however, have a choice in dating a merchant, and I would realllllly rather not."
So, you can only imagine Fenris' sudden amusement when a young female dwarf he had often seen wandering Hightown, escorting nobility and the high class citizens, walked into the Hang Man, followed by a very bright eyed female who only grew more interesting by the second. Something moved behind her, and despite the normalcy of her appearance, her bright eye, pale skin and purple streaks in her black hair made him wonder what kind of magic she possessed.
He could feel an undercurrent of magic, thanks to his markings, but her energy didn't feel like the magic mages and apostates used... it was natural, and it felt strangely... welcoming. He lifted his brow. He did not like magic, but she did not carry a staff and did not have the feel of a mage. "What do you think?" he asked Varric, pointing at the two. "The one with purple hair. Mage? Or something stranger?"
