WOW...it ALMOST sounds like Punk is in the ring right now, except he sounds like ADR.

Like, it sounds like this segment was written for Punk.

Public might be a bit generous, but even if they weren't, that was obviously where they were going with it.

Also, there's really no reason to think this is a work. WWE isn't mentioning it, and they're offering refunds to fans for the events that Punk was going to be at...In short, they'd be spending a lot of money on a story they aren't even promoting...also, Punk's beef with creative and management is well documented...

Best work of an already done storyline, but I seriously think its for real. They may be playing it off as a 'leave of absence' but Punk does have a scheduled work for WWE on some late night show soon, 20th I think and if he no shows then I think its safe to assume its real.

...No they wouldn't. Plus, part of the reason why Punk left is because he's pretty sure he already knows where his match with HHH was going to lead...to Punk jobbing again. Also, getting a few more PPV buys still won't be worth all the refunds they'll have to give out before then...

I saw an interview with Austin were he mentioned Vince will probably try to do the same thing he did for him when he walked out back in the day which would be seeing Punk personally and convincing him to do a few shows prior to his actual contract expiration.

The actual issue is while Punk has good reason to be mad at management its pretty much a d**k move of him to walk out on his obligations like that.

You probably are. I think they're definitely going to go with the match just to push Reigns and lead to the Shield break up.

I hope it's just paranoia on my part... Anytime I got my hopes up with the WWE this past year... They stomped on it, and sent out Santino to salt the wounds...

Its not fair. Wrestling and snow (the weather phenomenon) are the ONLY thing that I'm foolishly optimistic about.

Over the past ten days, in Southeast Texas, we had freezing temperatures AND precipitation for like 80% of the day, but the times it actually dipped like five degrees below freezing? It stopped raining. There were TWO days when it could have snowed but didn't. It only snows like every three years around here, and it actually sticks to the ground like every eight.

And now Punk just up and leaves because he's frustrated...I understand why he did it but goddammit I'm upset at him also. The product just isn't GOOD without him. There was NO segment that he was in that was ever dull.
