Hiring: COLORISTS
Being a colorist at EoA is a job that should be taken seriously. We expect our colorists to put for their best efforts on each and every pet they color. With that being said, we do not expect you to pump out a billion pets every month, in fact, we don't require very many pets at all, unless a large event is planned, but there will be plenty of notice given for those.
At EoA we separate our colorists into separate groups based on what they are qualified to do. If a colorist would like to switch to a different group they may swap to a lower group freely, and a higher group by submitting a request to Rian-chan who will then evaluate their work and determine if they are qualified to move up to the next group.
What are the groupings?
Master - These colorists have shown high quality skills with editing and shading. They are allowed to do all types of edits on any pets they wish. Keeping in mind the exceptions to edits set in place by the shop. They may be asked on occasion to help explain editing or shading to other colorists who have a strong desire to learn.
Journeyman - These colorists have shown decent quality skills with editing and shading. They are allowed to do small/simplistic edits but the edits must be approved before the pet will be put up for sale. They are not allowed to do edits on customs or breedings.
Apprentice - These colorists have shown that while they have lovely coloring skills they are not yet up to par with their editing and shading skills. They may not do any edits on pets.
How much do we pay?
Colorists will receive 90% of all auctions, flatsales, raffles, games, contests, etc. and 100% of any customs or breedings.
What about the workload?
Colorists at EoA are only expected to contribute 2 adult-stage pets per month. You may contribute more if you choose to. The only time this requirement will change is if a major event is coming up. For large events an expected number of pets for the event will be posted and a discussion will follow to help figure out how many pets each colorist feels they can take on without burning themselves out. Remember our goal here is quality not quantity.
How often will I be allowed to open custom/breeding slots?
Each colorist will be allowed to open 2 custom and 2 breeding slots per month provided their quota has been met. During months with major events customs and breedings will be put on hold.
Are you ready to apply? Awesome! We can't wait to see what you can do! Just click the link below to download the .psd file and start coloring up a few samples. Do your very best work. If you can do edits, please show off a variety from complex to simplistic so we can determine which group to place you in if hired. If you can't do edits just show us a variety of details and give us a sense of your coloring style. Each applicant should have a minimum of 3 samples on the EoA lines and if you have other recent (last 3 months) examples please link them as well!

Hiring: CARTOGRAPHER (Map Maker)
Having a map makes it easier for everyone to get an idea of where things are in the world of the shop. This is important for successful roleplay and plot advancement within the shop. That being said, Rian-chan can't draw worth beans so we are looking for someone with excellent cartography skills. If you are wondering what sort of quality we're looking for in our map we have borrowed some examples: Middle Earth & Alagaesia
How much do we pay?
Well that really depends, we are willing to negotiate with whomever is chosen for the job.
What are we looking for exactly?
A fairly large and detailed map of the world of Amaranth. Once the shop actually opens only a portion will be visible (we will edit it to have "fog" over the rest) and as the plot advances via roleplay more will be uncovered. Please be sure you are OK with this arrangement before applying.
How to apply
Gather up some examples of your skills with map-making and then fill out this form. If you don't have any current examples, or any that are of a similar style to what we're looking for you may want to do a small sketch of one in order to give a better example of your skills.
