Fairly miserable myself. I have severe congestion in my chest, going on two weeks of being sick now. All I want to do is curl up and go back to sleep, but I had to leave my house because there isn't any air conditioning and I couldn't breathe because it's too hot and even with multiple fans the air felt too thick and heavy and wasn't moving anywhere. I can't even tolerate it until the sun goes down and it cools down a bit.

I want to go to the doctor but I got fired a couple weeks ago and as a result I no longer have health insurance. With heart problems and a plethora of other conditions. So yeah....not fun...

I'm not sure how I can help, but I do have a special technique I use for handling that annoying irritation in my throat:

Take a glass of water, tilt your head back while standing up, and pour the water into your mouth. Don't swallow; just try to open up your throat and let gravity cause it to flow down. This allows the water to splash along stuff that your muscles might ordinarily contract around. (Side effect: it will make you belch from the air going with it.)

Thanks. It's been a while. I took time off Gaia for a while. Then I came back on this account almost a year ago to the day, but I've been hanging out in 10MPT in the Chatterbox mostly and haven't spent a lot of time around the Pokemon forums.

I actually have a bunch of friends irl that play Pokemon now, so I've been keeping up with the games, just not competitively. One of them is practically an older brother to me, and is a heck of a lot better than I ever was at breeding for IVs and such and considering my extreme lack of battling experience...yeah, he's way better than I am. He's been helping me out a lot with that. Working on breeding a team now and then I think I'm going to get into battling a little moreso than before. I want to be able to beat my big brother. It'll never happen, but I have every intention of having fun trying to, and I'll need some people to practice against once I'm done getting a couple teams together. And right now I have plenty of time to work on team building and practicing because of the whole getting fired from my job two weeks ago and having seemingly infinite amounts of free time. I've already put in multiple job applications today so I'm basically free the rest of the day to do whatever now.

I want to go back to college, I just haven't figured out a way to pay for it and manage to yet. When I was in school my grades were terrible because that's when I found out about my heart problems, and the first medication they put me on I slept like 16-20 hours a day. It was ridiculous. Makes it extremely difficult to get to class and get any schoolwork done like that.
