I've had connections work after being stubborn like this if the DS is turned off for some 5-10 minutes. I don't know why it suddenly starts to work.. but it some times does.

I need to run a few things down to the storage unit. Try this and I'll let you know when I get back. It won't take me long. 15 min tops.
