I would love to see more achievements that aren't linked to events. I missed so many due to being on hiatus (and not caring/knowing when I first joined Gaia). I would love having more to work toward now that I have finished all the standard ones except conventioneer.

Always felt that the Achievements system has been underutilized since its inception and it seems like such a waste that you can't redeem your points for anything!

It would be great to have a Daily/Weekly/Monthly Leaderboard with platinum, rewards, or GCash as the payouts.

Or even just have a special shop like the Wing Scouts or Lotto Ticket place where you can cash in your points once you have reached a certain level to attain unique items.

I wish you could do somethin' with the points as well, but I doubt they ever will. It's just a status symbol that just shows how much free time/ dedication you have to gettin' them. Lol

Some of my achievement hunter friends and I did discuss that in the past. A shop would be awesome. We were like the top 3 achievement hunters would be the shop owners.

5 years ago I started this petition thread. Sadly, after all this time I think they will just continue with time-based/event achievements. With the lack of people and resources, I doubt they will have time to make other achievements.

I will still update this thread and keep it goin' in hopes one day they will add other achievements that we can do at our own pace where we don't have to feel rushed to earn them.

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who took the time to sign my petition. I really appreciate it and it means a lot to me. heart
