I've been on ffn for years now...the writing started back in 1999 with Labyrinth, and then moved to a few anime ficlettes. My most recent (and last) piece of work is an AU Rurouni Kenshin fic. A word of warning though...if you're offended by "alternative" lifestyles, you probably want to steer clear.

not true. i always type in netspeak in forums & chat but i'm very strict w/ the spellin & grammar in my fics. i honestly finch every time i go thru & find a mistake i missed b4 postin

Correction: it doesn't matter as much in a informal setting like forums and chatrooms, but it does matter.

My English is not very good, so I have to carefully and painstakingly decipher every ungrammatical and badly-spelled post that I come across. One or two mistakes aren't too bad, but when the entire post is unreadable, I often don't bother.

After all, the writer is the one who has to make sure his or her writing is legible. Not the reader.

Unfortunately, ffn does sometimes ban people through no fault of their own, however, the fact that you were banned twice probably means that you did something that went against their acceptable usage policy. I would suggest posting your fiction on a smaller site, such as adultfanfiction.net if you want to ensure that you aren't banned in the future.

True but let me state that even if it's adult type fanfiction, shouldn't one have the right to post it?


Before it was banned there were warning signs on the NC-17 fics. I understand it when it's underrated and there's porn, but the younger audiences brought themselves to it.

Doesn't matter, they let bad writers in anyway.
