Levi reflexively grabs the lance from his back, bringing it to the ready in front of him as he turns right. And as Gratos enters through the door, he turns another quarter to the right, to face him, yelling out:

"Be thee friend or foe?!?"
Gratos would simply look on into the room. The whip would toss aside the door handle and slither back up his sleeve. His boots would click on the surface of the floors for he walked casually with no intentions of stealth. With every step he left a foot-print in the dust. Unlike others, the prince didn't keep his hands in his pockets. This simple action has kept him alive on many occasions before. With hands in pockets, it was simply another barrier to overcome in case of some sort of surprise attack. A whip came down into each hand as before, hidden from sight.

"I be friend lest ye be foe," he said in response. The whips stayed in their place incase his answer wasn't satisfactory.

"As I harbor no ill will to strangers that choose speech over combat to greet, that would make me friend," Levi replies. He does not lower his lance as his awareness of the shattering window hasn't dissipated. As he waits for something to happen, he makes a side comment: "Do you have anything to do with that, er... eh...", fumbling for a name.
The hotel would remain completely and earily quiet. Yet, if Levi decided to look back towards the message in the dust, he would find that it disappeared. No evidence that a message had ever existed.

-Coming to a halt when feeling as if an omnous presence lingered about his frigid form, there escaped a lowly growl along with a small amount of vapor from his icy lips. It was obvious that he need to stay aware of his surroundings but be more at ease as well.-
No sooner had Artix come to a stop and growled had a suspicious shadow formed itself in plain day light only a few meters ahead of him. The shadow seemed to stir and fluxuate in form before him. As the shadow kept its form, the grass a foot around it on all sides began to whither and lose their rich green texture.

A moment later, a simply putrid smell would arouse from the shadow. Stinky, like ... bad.

...And Levi would look back to read the message that vanished.

"What...."
Levi would see nothing in the dust, as if nothing had ever been written there. Also, a look back to the window would reveal that the window had never broken. Are these just illusions? Just as Levi spoke, a pecular tapping sound would begin to resonate through the room, and if Levi looked straight ahead of him, he would see foot prints beginning to form in the dust, yet there was no host body. Weird. The foot prints would begin to approach him, they were regular sized foot prints and along with those, a smell would infect the area. Levi might recognize it as the smell of decay.

~-~ The trail leading up to the front door. ~-~

A rather large, silent form strolled calmly down the path to what looked to be some sort of inn off in the distance. The Pale Beast, Phaestus Deranjuro looked out from the top of the hill upon the building half a mile away. Some unknown force had been seeming to pull the demon's attention to this place over the last few days. Crimson pupils washed over the building and the trees around it as within moments he seemed to have found himself a short twenty yards from the front door. Phaestus had not experienced anything such as this in his past.

His upper body was bare, revealing a brutish frame of rippling, chiseled muscle. His lower half was covered by a snug fitting pair of cloth pants. Three toes extended from the demon's feet, razor sharp claws jutting out four inches from each toe. From his heel extended another claw, the deadly tip just millimeters from the ground. His life of battle had been lived in this sense; he was a warrior, he needed no armor of metal to shield or hide himself, for he was his own armor.

"I must find the source of this irresistible pull.."
Seemingly appearing from no where where, the dark figure drops through the clouds of the sky like a fallen angel from heaven. Diving down head first, the blue haired shinobi dropped into the outskirts and into the forest.

"Rin Hei Toh Sha Kai Jin Retsu Zai Zen!"

These words shouted with much command and presence high in the sky and just before his body disappeared among the treetops. With a spin of his body forward, he landed squarely onto the first, strongest branch that protruded from the bark of the tree several yards above the ground. A thud would have been thought to be heard, however this was not the case. His feet and hands hit the bark silent and perfectly with such cat like reflexes without disturbing anything in the vicinity.

With a quick observation, the shinobi clanced around quickly to survey the land. "Another forest... go figure..." He stuffed under his breath as he stood erect from the branch. Ahead of him, several yards before where he stood, he could see a building in a clearing. "I wonder if anyone is home..."

With a push of his right foot, his body disappeared suddenly as he jumped to another branch and so forth towards the building in his path.

The window was back?...
And these footsteps most clearly approaching him belonged to no man; or did they?
Levi holds his spear out in front of himself steady, aimed in the direction of the footsteps. He turns his head partially away in disgust at the smell of death. Yet, all these 'signs' point to only on explanation:

"Poltergeists...."
If the stench hadn't given it away, this ghost's next action would have; as Levi readied himself for a frontal assault, he would find it very suprising as the foot prints stopped for a moment as a strange entity began to materialize a foot or so in front of his spear. What Levi would see is a younger man with single bullet hole in his forehead. No blood was evident, yet if the ghost would turn his head, Levi would see that most of his head was missing. The man was attired with a black jacket, blue jeans, and a white tee shirt. In his left hand he seemed to be grasping something very unapparent while in his right he grasped a crowbar of normal standards. As he stood there, he tilted his head to the right and started talking, yet Levi would hear nothing except the dead silence of the place and perhaps the yelling of the ninja outdoors. As the man stood there, he appeared to fizzle in and out as if constructed of static or on a television screen. A moment later, he would stop speaking and reach out with the crowbar and went to lightly touch the end of Levi's spear.

As Exordium would walk down the path, and as he neared the path he would see a Vexx Ventisca completely crafted of stone with a black goop pulsating in from of him, and then... the smell. Enough to destroy a olfactory completely, the grotesque stench of decay would plague the air, though to a demon, it might be delighful. As he approached the bileish substance, it began to bubble and grow, taking on a human like form.

As Rei jumped about the trees, he would notice a single leaf following him as he jumped. Tear drop in shape and a blueish teal color in hue, the leaf jumped about as he did, swaying through the trees and dodging branches as if were part of his own being.

The demon's eyes narrowed slightly as he observed the statue of a very familiar person; Vexx, one of his fellow warriors of The Rock Fist. Why would a statue of his comrade just suddenly appear in front of him? The eerie silence was then interrupted by the annoying yelling of some other person in the distance. His attention then turned to the strange, bubbling ooze which radiated with the scent of decay; as delightful as it smelled, something just screamed "suspicious" in this place. His senses became more alert as he observed the ooze taking some sort of humanoid form. It was quite interesting to watch this sudden change, but he could not be sure if it was a threat or not.

Levi holds steady as the 'ghost' approaches. Still, as it stops in front of him. It isn't until the crowbar touches his spear that he reacts; and he does so with such reflex as to give the motion a spring-like effect. He jerks back a foot of length, and thrusts the three-pronged spear-head through the gut of the spectre.

A moment later, after Exordium approached, the shape would have taken form. A very skinny man with blond, short cropped curly hair stood before the demon. Attired in a sort of hospital gown, stained completely with blood a barrade of hospital bands covered the mans forarms completely hiding his skin from elbow to wrist on both arms. Scars adorned his hands and face, while in either of his hands he held two shards of what appeared to be steel. The man had a stern look about his face and was drooling slightly as he stood before the demon, shaking vigerously as if were to freeze to death.

A moment after the man had completely formed, he smiled at the demon and something shone in his teeth, it appeared to be golden or bronze. The Lunatic (for reference use) began to walk towards Exordium with his hands hanging limply at his sides, his fingers grasped so tightly around the steel that his knuckles shone white and a steady stream of blood began to fall to the floor and leave a trail as he approached, walking past Vexx.

Just as Levi pulled back, the Raging Prince would plant his right foot backwards and as the spear was thrusted, he would pivot on his right foot so as to bring himself to the left side of Levi and caught the curve of his crowbar underneath the prongs of Levi's spear and jerked it up swiftly. This would in turn send the tip of Levi's spear into the air and as he did so, the Raging Prince sprung off his right foot, planted his left and lined his face up to be about three inches in front of Levi's before opening his mouth and vomiting blood in a stream/spray towards Levi's face. This manuever was designed to not only blind him, but gross him out, and with all hope, confuse him.

If Levi had thought the smell was bad before, take decay and mold and mix it with stomach acid and partially coagulated chunks of blood and smear it on your face, and then you would have a pretty accurate representation. The blood would have no detrimental effects other than being gross and perhaps blinding him.
