A problem; if Drake had thrown the punch and his opponent was in mid-air he'd have hit his chest; this would cause complications for if his opponent twisted Drake would nevre have thrown the punch since the counter itself was based on his opponent's positioning. His opponent would never have actually made it to the point in which Drake would have thrown the punch to begin with and so by changing the actions within the air the reaction itself wouldn't even be able to occur.
All his opponent did was flail his legs around and try to catch Drake's arm; something that Drake actually didn't resist. Once locked around Drake also locked his own arm around his opponent's leg and smirked; instead of trying to stand his ground now with a man hanging off of his arm he'd simply go with the flow allowing himself to turn in direction his opponent was moving giving him a momentum boost as well as allowing him to swing his opponent around.
As for the opponent's twisting there was little complication since Drake had actually gone with the flow to begin with preventing breaks with a mixture of movements which cushioned impact as well as muscles being tightened and at their peak performance. When his opponent twisted Drake simply leaned his chest forward with it slightly; that didn't prevent pain but it did prevent dislocation. Now with stretched and probably slightly torn ligaments in his arms he was still intact enough to use his right arm but it wouldn't be painless to use.
Swinging his opponent around like a ragdoll was the current status as he moved in circles with both feet, ine lifting, touching base, followed by the other lifting, touching base, and the angular placement giving more or less a good stable feeling on the sand. Drake kept his eyes open so as not to grow dizzy as he did this but who knows what would come of this. As his opponent spun faster and faster it would hopefully make the blood rush from his head to his feet or pool somewhere as the gravitation force was unnatural to the body in general.
