A problem; if Drake had thrown the punch and his opponent was in mid-air he'd have hit his chest; this would cause complications for if his opponent twisted Drake would nevre have thrown the punch since the counter itself was based on his opponent's positioning. His opponent would never have actually made it to the point in which Drake would have thrown the punch to begin with and so by changing the actions within the air the reaction itself wouldn't even be able to occur.

All his opponent did was flail his legs around and try to catch Drake's arm; something that Drake actually didn't resist. Once locked around Drake also locked his own arm around his opponent's leg and smirked; instead of trying to stand his ground now with a man hanging off of his arm he'd simply go with the flow allowing himself to turn in direction his opponent was moving giving him a momentum boost as well as allowing him to swing his opponent around.

As for the opponent's twisting there was little complication since Drake had actually gone with the flow to begin with preventing breaks with a mixture of movements which cushioned impact as well as muscles being tightened and at their peak performance. When his opponent twisted Drake simply leaned his chest forward with it slightly; that didn't prevent pain but it did prevent dislocation. Now with stretched and probably slightly torn ligaments in his arms he was still intact enough to use his right arm but it wouldn't be painless to use.

Swinging his opponent around like a ragdoll was the current status as he moved in circles with both feet, ine lifting, touching base, followed by the other lifting, touching base, and the angular placement giving more or less a good stable feeling on the sand. Drake kept his eyes open so as not to grow dizzy as he did this but who knows what would come of this. As his opponent spun faster and faster it would hopefully make the blood rush from his head to his feet or pool somewhere as the gravitation force was unnatural to the body in general.

('Tis ok. I'm surprised ya even let that slide without punishing me severely, though I'm not so sure I'm out of it yet. biggrin )

Rynn could feel his maneuver have a little effect, but there was no loud snaps or noises that made someone queasy. When Rynn wasn't pulled to the ground by gravity and began swinging around in a circle, he realized his mistake.

Aw Damn....

The circle he was being swung in wasn't exactly perfect just because of the awkwardness; so there must have been some parts to it where Rynn was swinging faster, at least slightly more so than other times.

As soon as possible, Rynn would retract his right leg himself(bottom leg, and not participating in the Drake's arm/Rynn's left leg[top] lock) and do the best attempt at a kick at the nearest portion of Drake's locked arm, so that the pain might make Drake relax his grip on the arm so that Rynn might weasle his leg out and fling himself out as far as he could in an undignified manner.

Rynn would land with a muffled thud(due to sand), but immediately and smoothly return himself to a more natural fighting position, aka standing. xd

He would then begin bobbing like a boxer.

((Same for me: Edittable upon request))
It didn't take much really to get Drake to let go; it was painful to swing this guy in the first place and since he did find the strength to lift his leg up though the kick would be weakened by centrifigal force anyway it wouldn't be since when the leg moved upwards Drake let go.

There was the thud in the sand and Drake calmly breathing and focusing on the muscles in the arm which was damaged to begin regenerating the ligiments which were torn lightly; it wouldn't take long with his spiritual capabilities however at the moment he was in the heat of battle. While his opponent was being flung and getting up Drake flexed his right arm while focusing making it at least function correctly and while it still hurt it wouldn't "quit" on him. He'd let his arms "hang" again and spread his legs apart with slight knee angles present. His body was tense and prepared however it also trembled slightly for some reason as Drake gritted his teeth in pain from his arm which was twisted but not kicked.
Rynn got up and felt a little woozy at first from the swinging, he allowed himself and his opponent a few moments to resettle themselves before he began moving in again, much slower this time, to allow himself more time to react.

He came in slightly ducked and brought his fists up in front of his face. He would enter his opponent's "personal space" and try to provoke him into an attack.

Rynn liked countering.

What would be awkward and hilarious, would be if Drake did nothing when Rynn got close, because then they would be in uncomfortably close proximity with neither one doing anything. Eventually Rynn would make a light, retractable punch, but that would just be to "start" things.
Drake moved in closer as his opponent neared him; there was a purpose behind this for he had a plan. Instead of trying to deal with his opponent like he normally would he'd actually go on the offensive and lower his head and use his shoulder and left arm to catch his opponent. Two steps were taken, and on the final step he had lowered to his opponent's waste for a tackle. His right hand did not "hang" this time and his back muscles were actually beginning to tear his shirt as he stressed them; his opponent's hands would be almost useless against the oncoming tackle and with the arm length of two feet grabbing around a man less than a foot away after a surprise dash of speed would be easy.

If he succeeded in grabbing his right hand, which was actually in front of his chest hand open and palm facing the ground, would relax as he picked his opponent up or tripped in the sand, tackled him, and then forced him into submissions through locks or just beat him in the face with his own fists. Either way the tide of battle was depending on this maneuver; Drake even considered the repercussions and knew very well that if he did miss and fall it was fine; not that he'd be airborn but he might trip on the sand or something.
Not being a grappling style fighter, Rynn would be caught by surprise.

However, he made up for getting taken by the tackle with a smart reaction.

When the opponent began to push him backwards, Rynn shifted all the top of his body forward as he let his legs go back before they would dig into the ground and begin trying to hold their place(s). This prevented Rynn from being knocked straight to the ground, even though if Brandan pushed with all the force he could muster, he would most likely topple Rynn as he lost his footing.

As soon as Rynn regained his wits, which would be about the time his feet dug into the ground, he would raise his two hands, which were already in front of his face, high above his head and fist them close together, before bringing them down with everything he had straight onto the top of the back of Drake. Rynn would also grunt with the force he was exerting into the axe-handle smash. (I probably mutilated the name/sp)

This would be repeated until something changed, as in Drake fell or Rynn was toppled, or something.
The opponent was in trouble for that wasn't the way things went. When his opponent leaned Drake did not continue forward but instead picked him up and immediately took this oppurtunity to actually fall backwards but keep in mind that his opponent now in his arms would fall head first into the ground with an immense amount of force without time to "gain his bearings".

Luckily it was sand; if it was concrete his opponent was facing death and not just a concussion. After Drake fell backwards driving his opponent into the ground whether it suceeded or not he'd roll to his right away from his opponent and then roll again onto his knee in order to stand and see the after effects of his move.
s**t

As Rynn's feet left the ground he realized the mess of defecation he was in. So, he did the only two things he could think of at the moment. And that were thus:

1)Lean his upper body as far forward as he could so that his head didn't recieve the brunt of the impact.

2) Turn his body as much sideways as he could so that he would land on his side with arms extended. That way less damage would be done to his body as a whole. Although, his right side would would be feeling the pain.

When Rynn's body met the ground, the arm that had been spared from most of the impact would extend and place its palm upon the ground and aid in lifting the wounded fighter as best it could, so much so that at least Rynn would be able to see Drake if he would manage to continue his assault. Given the opportunity, Rynn would struggle to his feet and resume focusing on the task at hand, his semi-carefree attitude gone now.

The cold of his attire and abilities was now reflected in his eyes.

Sidenote: The arm(s) around Rynn holding him place would absorb a fair amount of whollop from the ground. Still, most of it went to Rynn.

*Take two- Didn't quite get the visual right earlier.
Rynn had fallen and gotten off of Drake's arm so Drake in turn did indeed roll right twice up to a standing position. He "shook" to get the sand off of him so that it wouldn't itch, something his opponent didn't do which would give the advantage of irritation against his opponent's skin possibly.

Standing since his opponent had backed up Drake was fine; his back did indeed take most of the blow and a little of his sides as well which was just fine since sand had a cushioning effect. Cracking his knuckles at his sides whilst his arms hung limp he felt the sudden cold. Now he had made his moves before, and instead of pursuing this time he'd let his opponent dictate the pace of battle.

It was the opponent's turn to strike. Drake stood in his regular stance, but something was different; he seemed to let off a certain... something. That and his arm had fully healed now; it no longer hurt to move.
It seemed the roles in the battle had switched- the wounded was now the healed and the healed was now the wounded. Eh, but who cares. xd

Well, Rynn did, as he was in a decent amount of pain, and he was almost in a state of mental pain, knowing his opponent had the advantage. Rynn's right side took a frosty look and paled slightly: A semi-obvious sign that this wasn't a "pure" melee fight anymore. Rynn, in fact, was just numbing his right side though, so the pain didn't consume him.

He began to slowly walk towards his opponent with confidence and a smoothness that gave off the illusion that he was unaffected by the fall. When he neared five feet of his opponent, a massive burst of speed would bring Rynn to Drake at a furious speed that contrasted that of his walk so much so that it would probably throw Drake off. His movements were almost a blur now.

Rynn would come in and tilt to the right with his his right piston(numbed and hurt) coming forward in an easily retractable manner.

However, Rynn's left fist remained relatively low, in a more balanced defense position, but also in a strong striking position. Rynn would let his punch go until the point that his opponent began a reaction, at which point Rynn would retract the punch terribly fast and instead bring his left knee up, aiming for either the pelvis or lower gut.

Rynn would adapt as necessary.

((*FINISHED))
((And I'm bringing in Cutter.))

Cutter walked around, soon coming to the beach where Rynn and this new guy were fighting. He laughed when he saw that Rynn was actually losing. But still, Cutter stayed alert so he could jump in at any point in case this got too out of hand.

He sat on the ground, crossing his legs. "This will be fun."

In a lone tree of the dense forest not too far from the beach a dozen dark black birds littered the branches silently watching the inhabitants of this island eagery like little spies,Their green eyes glowed ominoiusly surveying the nearby beings curiously as they seemed to be having some sort of sparring match on the sandy shore.
