your assumtion is correct kabuto did give orochimaru a bit of himself in a literal manner somehow. just letting you know.

I think it's Kabuto...But Orochimaru is taking over more and more...Maybe.
Still, I overall think it's Kabuto being changed with the power and crap.

My belief is that Kabuto committed the acts of experimentation's on himself in the absence of his master while he was within me. While doing this, Kabuto gained much power, but also the side affects of what is currently happening to his skin. Kabuto more than likely is in fully himself, but has infused sample of Orochimaru's genetics within himself. Note that Kabuto is known for his skills in the medical field.
