For some reason, I think I'm one of the only Gaians who likes Radiohead. I don't know if the other regs dislike them in real life or not.
I enjoy Radiohead. I think most people in this forum just don't like bands with fans who give artists more praise than they deserve.
I can genuinely say that I really really dislike Radiohead, not ironically, in real life. I've tried. My sister's tried to get me to like them, but I think it's a combination of the fact that they sound like if Muse and Coldplay had a love-child and their fans are pretentious dickwads who think Thom Yorke deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

Ya, I mean you could argue that radiohead "Did it first" but even then if you didn't like the sound to begin with... I also don't like admitting that I like radiohead (and alot of other music) because fans seem to think that our shared interests will cause me to care about what they have to say.

I've just never cared for them. And their fans are, quite possibly, some of the worst fans in existence. If I hear a Radiohead fan say one more time "You just don't get it." I'm going to assassinate Thom Yorke.

Then, when they ask why I did it, I'll say "You just wouldn't get it."

If I ever stop bumping this thread it probably means I've died.... or I found something better to do with my life.

Even though that discussion ended a month ago, I couldn't be more impartial toward Radiohead.

They have a handful of good songs, but I have never really been able to bring myself to give much of a s**t about them.

I think that's reasonable. I never really got into them but I got a cd of theirs from a bunch of cd's my dads friend was getting rid of. I enjoyed it but it didn't really get me to go out and buy more cd's
