Last hitting gets a lot easier if you play that specific champ a lot since champs have different attack animations, etc.

I love being bot lane in Dominion against someone who thinks they're supposed to actually last-hit. I mean, in bot lane you're supposed to last-hit if you get the opportunity, but you're still supposed to basically mindlessly push it.

What I like to do on Fiora is full carry which means:
Berserker/boots of swiftness
bloodthirster
I.E
Trinity Force
Last whisper
Guardian Angel
Go Q,W,E
Max R, W, E, Q

My friend, have I ever introduced you to my award-winning* build, "The Fiora Grenade"? Because it's awesome, and award-winning*.

Boots+Pots to start, then rush Tiamat. Finish your Mercury's Treads. Then Bloodthirster. Then another Tiamat. Then you have two options for your final two items:

A) Another Bloodthirster, then Frozen Mallet.
B) Frozen Mallet, then another Bloodthirster.

Your skill order is R>W>E>Q. Yes, you max your W before your E, because pretty much every good top in the universe has a strong attack-timer-resetting on-hit effect. If you block that, you spare yourself a LOT of damage, and nuke them for quite a bit. Also, free AD. A LOT of free AD.

In both cases, swap a Last Whisper for the second Bloodthirster if they're stacking a lot of armor. You ult, die, win the teamfight anyway, then laugh over their corpses as they trade one kill for 5 because your ult drops the entire enemy team to half health or lower consistently.

lol Thanks to the both of you for your advice. I'll try both out. The Fiora Grenade has me intrigued, seems like a lot of fun. Plus, it won an award! I'll probably buy her with the IP from the bonus. It's between her and Naut, but I'm having more fun with Fiora.

Can anyone suggest a starting Champ that does decent damage and doesn't lead me to die constantly? :C I always end up laning alone as well.. because my teammates suck.

so tanky and does damage, hmmm, shyvanna, galio, irelia, udyr, cho'gath ,most of the top laners or junglers are very good at that. if u mean as an ap mid? galio, lux, gragas, heim, morgana, theres alot out there , the riot recommended champions are there for that reason ^^
