This is my first contest. Or that I can remember at least. So I may add information as needed. Feel free to ask questions.

★Contest Dates: 08/23/12-10/15/12*
*will be extended up to a month more if necessary.
★★Contest Description: Design a teaset to be added to Ducky's Cafe. You must include a teacup and a teapot in the design. All other parts are encouraged, but not required. Please limit the teaset to having a maximum of 2 sweets (a pie slice, a cake slice, a cupcake, etc--no more than 2 per teaset design**).
**Exceptions may be made. I don't want to lose sight of the teaset theme.
★Contest Prize - 1st Place: 50k & your design added to the shop & The pixeled version of your teaset for free
★Contest Prize-2nd Place: 25k & your design added to the shop & the pixeled version of your teaset for free
★Honorable Mentions: 5k - design may or may not be added to the shop
There will be a set of prizes for the regular entries and a set of prizes for the holiday entries. So feel free to enter both.
★★★★★Prizes may be increased if we can get over 20 participants. Not just 20+ entries by a couple of people, but over 20 people participating.
Contest Rules:
★You may enter a maximum of 3 times per category.
★There is no fee for entering.
★No single color entries (example-just a plain blue teaset)- Very simple or single color teaset ideas can be suggested through the suggestion form on the first page. I'm looking for creative designs.
★While I'm looking for creative ideas, understand that these will be pixeled. Teasets with too many details might not look great as pixels.
★Do not copy ideas from other shops! If I see this, you will be disqualified.
★Please don't directly copy ideas from photos/real life online shops. You can suggest I make those with the suggestion form.
★You may use the templates provided below to help you design the items, or you can draw the items yourself.
★Art theft will not be tolerated. Do not claim you drew or designed something that you know you didn't. Will result in disqualification, banning from my shop, and possible reporting. It's one thing to be inspired by something. It's another to steal or directly copy it.
★Contest will be judged on...

Ability for me to actually be able to make it into a pixel
You will not be judged on coloring/shading/drawing ability.

Notes/Additional Descriptions/etc: I can redesign this if need be. The teacup is positioned as an aerial view, as if you are looking down on it. The handle is supposed to be like the bumps on the teapot. The teapot is a profile shot.

I re-did the teapot's colors, and I did try to make the teapot in profile view, but it just kept turning out badly. .w. So I will explain it, instead.
Here's the darker version of the teapot: Teapot2 Though some of the lines did run together like on the bottom right portion, also the shapes on the bumps are supposed to be round like a caterpillar's spot-like design.
Teacup: The teacup is supposed to be round with a slight inward curve to the lip. The bottom is also rounded. The handle contains the three bumps with same spot-like shapes on them as the teapot. Ultimately I wanted it to sort of coincide with the teapot, color and theme-wise. Sorry I'm not the best artist though. >.<

Notes/Additional Descriptions/etc: a musical interlude here for this set. A trebble cleff adorns the top of the tea pot and sugar jar as way to open and close the contaners. Everything is decorated with a row od sheet music. the cake is a dark chocolate with a buttercream frosting and decorated with dark chocolate music notes.

Notes/Additional Descriptions/etc: thought combining it all into one image would make it easier. The Fairy set is special and Unique. I used an imag to use as a stencil for the idea and design. I used the pen tool in photoshop to draw out the design so it is not perfect but has the look and feel that i am going for. I used the smudge and blure tool to get the look of frosting on the cake and the highlight and shading on the flowers and cup, although it's not perfect I believe it still looks good. I hop you like it too. I do have the individual items saved and can upload them to PB if you need them or prefer them instead of the one image.
Category: It's hard to choose one cause this could fit in either holiday such as Spring or regular but I think I'll have to go with Holiday as a lot of time went into this. Holiday would be Spring
