Anyone at Spanishtown?

Just curious if anyone on here went out to the Spanishtown parade this past Saturday. Anyone else braved the rains, for the second year in a row (I must be cursed or something with this parade. Second time going, and it rains up until the very end of the parade.).

If so, had fun? Any good catches? Did you see the pink Link running around? (that'd be me : p)

Did you at least find a new place? I know how you feel, though; I've been having to crash at a friend's place because there's no friggin affordable housing around here unless one wants to live in the friggin ghetto. -_-;;

I've actually never been to the Spanishtown parade. We always either went to New Orleans, Thibodaux, or Houma.

I've been told that Houma has a big parade, but there's no way in hell I'm stepping foot in that town again. The entire population acts like it has a stick up its a**.

They do have nice parades. I never had any issues with Houma, but that was pretty much the only reason we ever went there.
