Exactly, which makes me wonder why so many kids who have "tried" killing themselves aren't dead yet. I'm not heartless, just making a point. I honestly don't want people throwing themselves off buildings or slicing up their arms because mommy didn't buy them that Ipod they wanted.

Cutting yourself with a knife does not guarantee death, which is what she was getting at when she said they don't know how to do it right.

hahahahh.. u havent been around emo ppl much, have u? i had a friend "try to become emo" it was really funny. he tried cutting himself because his dad "yelled at him all day long..." rolleyes that particular week i thought my grandma was gonna die and had a panic attack during school. it took him TWELVE times to actually get to a point where he drew blood. XD i dont know if he was trying to use a butter knife or what, but he was definately doing it for the attention. most of tehm are. as stated in another thread, the real cutters dont tell that they cut. the idiots who are pretending to be depressed are what we make fun of. the real emos are the ones in the corner, reading edger allen poe and stuff like that
