I'm an american I accept these charges. A lot of so called "patriotic americans" are just a** sore because we lost a few men. Japan loses people almost on a regular basis with earthquakes and the lot. The atomic bomb isn't a valid argument though. The bomb never would have happened if there never was an attack by japan.

Oh, the bomb would've happened all right, plenty, if the Allied Forces hadn't beat the nazis and taken the technology away from them. My great grandfather helped work on it in Nevada and before that on the East Coast. Imagine how it would've been used by the Nazis. I doubt there would be anyone alive on the planet.

I had to do a comparison of both the Pearl Harbor Incident vs The bombings vs the recent earth quake.

The overall death toll for Pearl Harbor reached 2,350, including 68 civilians, and 1,178 injured.
Of the military personnel lost at Pearl Harbor, 1,177 were from the Arizona.
The first shots fired were from the destroyer Ward on a midget submarine that surfaced outside of Pearl Harbor;
Ward sank the midget sub at approximately 06:55, about an hour before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Japan would lose 29 out of the 350 aircraft they attacked with.

dropped the nuclear weapon "Little Boy" on the city of Hiroshima on Monday, August 6, 1945,
followed by the detonation of "Fat Man" over Nagasaki on August 9.

Within the first two to four months of the bombings, the acute effects killed 90,000–166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000–80,000 in Nagasaki,
with roughly half of the deaths in each city occurring on the first day.
The Hiroshima prefectural health department estimates that, of the people who died on the day of the explosion,
60% died from flash or flame burns, 30% from falling debris and 10% from other causes.
During the following months, large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness.

15–20% died from radiation sickness,
20–30% from flash burns,
and 50–60% from other injuries, compounded by illness.
In both cities, most of the dead were civilians.
